I made this and it was gone in a flash. My family loved it. Thank you Laura!
I tried this recipe out and it turned out AMAZING! Loved her trick of steaming the clams open separately to ensure zero sand in the pasta. I will definitely be making this again and again! Thank you, Laura!
Linguine with clam chowder
I love watching Laura's old recipes!! Well done Laura you've come such a long way and congratulations on your TV show!!!
Laura, you have no idea how many times i've watched this video! Made it lot of times already!
OMG I have been watching you for the last 1000 videos or so. I had no idea you did clams and white sauce. It's my all time favorite. I can now die a happy man. (after I cook and eat this of course)
Laura - Is there anything you can't make in the kitchen?! Love your videos!
Thank you for this great recipe. When I made this dish, after I dished it into the bowls, I squeezed some fresh lemon and sprinkled parmesan over it. I won't order this out anymore. Had too many bad experiences w/ gritty sand and poor seasoning. Thanks for letting me enjoy this dish again. Your video is great at explaining the hows and whys on doing things.
LAURA! It's almost 1 am here in NC...I'm seriously thinking about making this now! lol You're videos make me hungry!! Keep up the great work
We love the use of fresh clams in this masterpiece of an entree.
Girl you have this down to a science, have made it several times just seem to get better, thanks for sharing
Thank you for this simple yet amazing recipe! This is one our family’s favorite now!
I'm addicted to watching your recipes! I can't decide what to make for dinner tomorrow night! Too many delicious choices.
Oh my goodness, this dish is amazing! No gunky, heavy white sauce to overpower the delicate flavor of the clams!! I can hardly wait to try tis delectable dish!
One of my favorite dishes. Great job.
just made this dish and it turned out soooo good! This will be one of my new favourites thanks !
Laura's recipe had helped me to pass my final exam! i love you Laura
WOW!! Not just you, but the food too! Thanks

God bless you beautiful and your beautiful family. ❤
Thank you for sharing this recipe, Laura! I love it!
I watch this video soo many times! ! Is one of my fave dishes!
Making this soon but we usually add the butter in with the liquids before adding in the clams. Than we toss it to make sure it all marries together with the flavors before covering. Looks good.
Agree
looking forward to trying your approach to this dish...I've had great success with some of your other dishes...thank you.
love your stories. I am actually surprising my wife tonight with this dish with a touch of "Angel" me!...to make it mine ;) thank you...You rock it! Angel from the Bay USA
Making this for dinner tomorrow 😋
I love this recipe, it's so simple yet tasty! I have made it twice already, and it tastes better than the one I had in a good Italian restaurant, I am so proud of myself... :)
Made this today - beyond delicious!! Thank you Laura :)
Love your family stories and visiting Italy ❤️
Hey Girl, thanks for sharing this recipe. I made this last night (with a couple of twists) and it came out perfect! Your trick to prepping the clams was key, if I didn’t see this I would have been waiting forever for the clams to release the sand. Thanks for sharing 👍
Those clam shells look delicious!
Looks so delicious. Definitly will try to make it tomorrow.
I've made this dish many times, and it's great. The only thing I do different is no coffee filter, and when the sauce comes together, I add a very little bit of cornstarch slurry to thicken slightly. It makes every bite more favorable, since more of the sauce sticks to your noodles.
saappo nj
Hi, thank you for the great tips. I love this recipe. I am going to make this for my family this week. You Rock.
cant wait to try this ,looks so good !
Bravo Laura love your tips!!!
awesome recipe!! this is so much a fave of mine that even if I order a different meal in one of my favorite Italian restaurants, I ask for a small side of "spaghetti alla Vongole" at all times. I know ..... even my friends think Im sick. BUT, I followed this recipe to a tee the other night for a group of 5 ( made too little but thats OK), and now they think Im a gourmet cook...laughter.. Thanks for this!
I live in Naples, Italy now. It sucks but the seafood dishes are awesome. Always!
ive watched every one of your videos young lady and i love alot of them, but this has to be my favorite and I thank you....
Say BUD..this woman and her husband have dedicated a lot of time and effort to bring her fabulous recipes to the rest of us who really appreciate it. if you want to make nasty, stupid adolescent comments go watch t&a elsewhere on 'tube
Came out great. Thank You.
I’m making this for dinner tonight 🤤
Making mine this evening along with a loaf of fresh bread.
absolutely incredible!!
Just like you said with seafood. The simpler the better the flavor! Need a piece of good piece of bread to soak up the last of the juice!
Thanks so much it sounds so good! I make clam sauce all the time, love it and I'm always looking for new recipes with herbs I can use fresh for my garden. I grow all kinds of produc, herbs and houseplants, even succulents...lol I'm always looking for new recipes so thank you, I'll have to try it. I'm Sicilian so sometimes I like a switch from the old Italian way LOL

I recent;y went to restaurant their linguini n clams had red peppers, purple onions and sliced mushrooms thrown in. They offered marinara on the side, I opted out. IT was so GOOD! Im sure this would taste good with theses additions.
omg i cooked this today it turn so delicious just like the ones in the restaurants or even better thank you Laura your awesome :)
Nice ..!! Thank you Laura..
Cooking the clams separately. Genius!
There's something about the sound of the shells clinking against the sides of the pot that just gets my mouth watering . . .
Thanks for the hot pepper flake trick. I'm going to try it tonight.
I've always wanted to try this
Muy rico... gracias x la receta
Looks amazing
Thank you pretty one! I totally enjoy your series :-) I like to add some quarter sliced lemons on the side and a little fresh chopped/minced clams too...canned if your in a pinch
My mom is gonna love this
Lol, " My Grandfather would be so proud of me. " I love this line. Haha
I love trying to cook new things, especially if they're old favorites that I didn't learn back in the day. This looks exciting, and I can't wait to surprise my girlfriend on my next day off. I'm going to have to look at more of your shows and recipes. I love how the dish looked and I can't wait to try it.
Great job! Perfecto!!
I make it like my Mom, adding in 1/2 c toasted bread crumbs and also a few of anchovies.
I am going to try that tomorrow.
So perfect. From the clams to Laura
Yummy! Look so delicious
My mouth is watering.
Your recipe are great
U can use basil too. Instead of parsley. U have to saute garlic, basil, clums. Then wine salt and pepper to taste.
You can also put cilantro or epazote but that's not the recipie
The recipe is pretty accurate. One thing though. There is no need to boil the clams to get rid of the sand. I am Italian and I have never seen or heard of anybody boiling the clams first. Soak the clams in cold salty water for an hour or two. Then cook raw clams in the sauce, covering pot, and the clams will open when ready leaving all their juices in sauce. Discard any clams that do not open. If they remain closed there is a good chance they were dead and therefore not good to eat.
I was in Naples 2 weeks ago! Very nice place
Favorite food ever !!!!
Making this today!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice, Laura! Gratzi! I would chop some fresh Italian parsley and squeeze of fresh lemon, and mangia!!!
gonna cook this tomorrow for new years eve..
How was it?
Looks delish 😋
I want this for dinner tonight!
Hi Laura! What can I substitute for the white wine? :) Thanks. Love all your vidsss.

Next time I make this I think I'll use double the wine....lol It's delicious though !
Looks good
I love a woman that realizes the importance of a scrubbed clam... especialy during this heat wave...
i'm going to try this at the thanksgiving dinner potluck! thank you! is using cockles ok?
@65buster1 everybody has their own way of cooking and making certain recipes. I do it this way but you can do it however you like. I add a tiny bit of butter at the end to make the sauce a little thicker but that's optional.
Perfect
