I found your channel for cities skylines only last week, with the start of your tropical island. Then as a subscriber this popped in my notifications. WOW, I've now binged watched Few zoo from start, and two things,,, 1, you are a great designer (for both series), and 2,, as someone who struggles with planet zoo even after loads of youtube content, this has been the BEST INSTRUCTION GUIDE I've seen. So easy to follow, and at a pace I can follow, I can't thank or praise you enough. Really looking forward to more ❤❤
Wow thank you so much, that's so good to hear! 😄 The reason I started this series was that (aside from the fact I love this game) I couldn't find any cohesive tutorial + lets play style series on YT for Planet Zoo, in the same way there's quite a few for Cities, so I'm really pleased to hear its a good pace and useful content! Thank you! ❤
Just watched your whole Planet Zoo series so far because I recently started playing and had no idea how to start. I just wanted to say that it has been beyond helpful! You are so creative and detailed with everything and it has gave me some insight on how to get started! Please never stop uploading and absolutely keep this series going!!! :)
I love the format of this series. Some tutorial and some speed build. I've been playing this game for years and am still learning new things in this series!
YAY!!! Another Planet Zoo episode!! This is becoming one of my favorite games and with you being one of my favorite designers, it’s a perfect match!! Keep the awesome work coming!!
Got the game less than a week ago and just watched this series back to back - cant wait for the new episode. Helpful hints and pretty damn well explained - especially the workzones! Feeling a tad more confident now and have started my first zoo last night, feel like I have to start over now hehehe. Keep it up and thanks a lot for you work put in.
I found you through the comments on Egg's Thessia videos; saw him compliment one of your Cities builds, and thought I'd check it out. I noticed this Planet Zoo series almost immediately, and binged the whole thing! You are an amazing designer, and I feel inspired to try my hand at this game again. I apparently haven't touched it in almost exactly a year haha. But thank you for this gorgeous build, and keep up the good work!
Ahh thank you so much, and welcome! Definitely try it again! It can be overwhelming at first but going slowly you’ll get the hang of it, so worth it and a lot of fun!
Yesss, I love your planet zoo series! I have the game for so long and still I'm learning soooo much with you! Thank you so much! Your zoo looks truly amazing
My God your patience for building/detailing is just next level FC! I'm super super impressed! Love this series and all the explanations on how to play! I'm living vicariously through your game play though haha
This is such an awesome series, I wish this would pop up in more recommendations. The only idea I have would be to shorten the videos to 30 minutes. I love this series, and it has helped me start my very own planet zoo franchise
Another great episode. So glad to see that you're continuing with Planet Zoo along with Solitude. Both are must see immediately when they pop up. Absolutely love the sloth habitat. Name suggestions as always. 😉 Sally and Sully for a pair of sloths. And for the mechanics, Rob and Robert work. My dad was Bob, and he did construction work, so I find it very fitting to see him in the game. A cousin named after him is called Rob.
@@fewcandy When you inevitably start running out of real Robert-based names, might I suggest the delightful name of Bobert? And of course a Boberta to match. You could also do a Bobbi and a Bobbie and a Bobbey and a Bobb...
That sloth just absolutely VIBING in the hanging chair was killing me😻 what a fantastic build!! I also had no idea you could make the facades on the exhibits!! Game changer!
i've been waiting for a new episode of Planet Zoo! This turned out so incredibly well, I really love the sloth experience you created! It must be really special to walk into this space and have a sloth hanging above your head.
Oh my goodness I had no idea they added those new kinds of exhibits! Lots of fun new concepts to play with and those PVC doors are a great touch. The snakehouse is super cute, looks very true to life and love the multiple different textures.. always something I need to remember to do more! The TV’s look awesome and hiding the buckets is genius they can be a bit of an eyesore! But the sloth exhibit is just absolutely mind-blowing! This was my first time seeing the sloth habitat and my initial thoughts were that its a bit compact but then you proceed to show why game limits can be changed with enough imagination! Absolutely love the first-person view in there! Cracking job again and thoroughly enjoying this series :D
Loving this series💛 I’ve had planet zoo on my pc for a couple of years now but never really got in to it. Now I am completely hooked! Love your Cities content as well. You’re so so talented and it’s a joy to see your creations come to life. Keep ‘em coming🙌
I've binged this series and can't wait for the next. I am thoroughly enjoying the instructional/tutorial bits and speed build style mash-up you're doing. Your creativity is next level. I'm learning so much about how to play PZ and gaining much inspiration. Thank you!
Omg! Yay, this turned out so incredibly well 😁 I’ve put my back out and I wake up to planet zoo, so happy lol. I would love to see how you would do a cheetah habitat or any other Savannah sort of animal.
Quick note for people who don’t like the exhibit education things, like with the donation boxes you can hide them between exhibits, then you can use the nicer screens and you still get the education points.
I love when you play the game. Its so easy and fun to follow. And the habitats always end up so nice and the way you show the build and explain. Its easy to follow and even copy it to my game if i wanted to.
Hi FewCandy! I’m a recent sub after discovering you through your collabs with Overcharged Egg and have been loving your content. This series has been fantastic so far, your attention to detail is amazing. I’d love to request that you name a keeper after my cousin Sam, who was tragically killed by a tiger in 2015. She was an extremely experienced and highly regarded keeper and loved by all who knew her. Sam’s favourite animal was the rhino and she has a rhino memorial at Hamilton Zoo where she worked at the time of her death. Once you get rhinos in your zoo it would be lovely to have her as a keeper in their area. Thank you so much for this excellent series!
Absolutely binged this series!! As a complete noob to this game and style, this has helped me soo much. I had the game about a year ago but put it down because I couldn’t deal haha.. now I can’t wait to finish to work play planet zoo!
I have really enjoyed this series and have learned so much. Are you planning on continuing the build and instructions. They have been so helpful and inspiring, please say yes there will.
Thank you! And yes the series is still on going! I’m actually working on the next episode so you can expect that early next week, it’s just a little slower for planet zoo than my cities skylines content!
I love that Frontier understands that most of their playerbase really wants extra customizability and that they've built in so many fantastic options like being able to turn off literally the entire casing of the walkthrough exhibits. I can't think of another creative sim game that does anything like it, especially not in a totally vanilla format like this. And you certainly do an amazing job utilizing those functions, this sloth house is positively gorgeous! Side note: This series was the push I needed to finally buy Planet Zoo after a long time of considering it. (I now have most of the DLC -- I greatly appreciated the Instant Gaming link because wow has that saved me a lot of cash and I love that it can help you out too!) It also got me back into Planet Coaster after a long post-overwhelm hiatus, and now I'm working on a spooky park and having loads of fun. Thanks for all of your continually wonderful content and everything you do!
The sloth exhibited looked so good! I love the waterfall deatail. I started a new zoo last night and things were a lot easier. Still some hiccups but nothing devastating like the first times I tried to play. Can't wait to learn some more :)
Another great build! I've only done an open garden concept with the butterfly walkthroughs so far but this is making me want to try an enclosed option as well. Actually, I'd be curious to see your take on that? Maybe mixed with a food/drink/rest area to encourage more guests to move around pathways?
I absolutely love this design! I've been trying some designs for walthrough exhibits myself, but I can't seem to use the push tool inside of the exhibit (floors are on none). Do you have any idea how to solve this? Thanks alot!
I really love your 4k videos... they are so awesome and the game is so great its nice you upload all this in 4k because anything lower res does not do the game justice.
I haven't missed Planet Zoo (you know i love the CS content really) but i've missed you building in Planet Zoo if that makes sense? Mostly because your creativity is contagious, it makes me want to go out and be extra creative even when that's what I do for a living! The makers of this game need to go and spend a few hours in Sketchup though to see what the next set of advanced options should be! Arrays, snap to points, the ability to type measurements and angles in, all that good stuff. Love the sloth enclosure too, fantastic! And like I've said before, just let the penguins be free roaming animals, it's clearly what they want 🤣😂
I tried to purchase the game through Instant Gaming but everytime it tries to validate the purchase, it kicks back out to the purchase screen and makes me type in my card info again. Does anyone have a solution to this?
The inner part of the reptile house made me think of the first Harry Potter movie. More specifically the scene where Harry discovered he can speak Parseltongue.🐍🙂
Wow!!! Another awesome blue print worthy habitat. At this rate you could have your own PZ content creator pack. It's not hard for me to imagine a "FewZoo blueprint catalog" being available to download. Maybe even for a small fee. I would name one of the sloths Sammy. And last but not least. I would love to see tigers 🐅 at some point in the zoo. Tigers are my favorite type of animal to see at any real world zoo.
How do you tell when you need to hire more staff? I'm never sure if I'm over or under hiring 😅 Love the sloth exhibit as well can't wait to pick up that dlc ❤
Such a great DLC! The building pieces and plants are awesome. And in terms of staff I'd keep checking their 'overworked' status to see if all of your staff in one category are red, then it's almost certainly time to hire more, or train them. I usually opt to train the first couple of levels (if you have enough money for the wages) then hire more staff if they are still over worked!

Will the keeper still visit ok without staff path? Thanks for the video. Dave.
Sorry for such a slow response! But yes any type of exhibit does not need a staff path, they will use regular paths to access them when they need!

Speedy or Flash...
