Thank you so much for a wonderful tutorial, with excellent explanations of each step - learned so much. Just makes me want to stop everything else and sit down with pastels and paper to try and create my own vibrant colourful drawing. 😊
Absolutely stunning - Incredible work Thoroughly enjoying your art course on your website it is really helping me stay motivated and it’s so easy because you break it up into such nice small easy to do steps with all of the pencils named which I really appreciate. Thank you. :)!
Great video Emily and just when I think you’ve taught me everything, you surprise me again. Love your draw unit and containers. Can you tell me where you got them from? ❤
@@emilyrosewildlifeart-paste9820 ohh lovely. Thanks Emily. I need to do something other than keep putting them back in number order in my pencil holder. 🙄
Thank you for your incredible giving of your knowledge as an Artist… question… can I still do your courses easily enough with the large half pastels by unison I’ve just gone and ordered 😂…❤
ooo Unison! They're going to be wonderful to draw with! I would say no. I have seen people do it, and do it very well, however, you might find it frustrating as the layering would be different, so I think it's unfair to suggest my current membership would be a good fit. You'd still learn a lot about the structures of paintings, which is totally transferable, but it is designed for pencils. Enjoy your new pastels, they are so gorgeous!!
Thanks Emily… for your honesty… I can buy some pastel pencils… ❤ I’m so pulled to drawing and creating with charcoal and pastels I’d never thought that would be my thing. It certainly doesn’t hurt to learn both pencil and the sticks x
I have a hard time sharpening the Stabilos with a knife and leave a long lead exposed like I do with the Faber Castels. I noticed your Stabilos do not have a long lead. Is this because you sharpen them differently?
To tell the truth, this was a new set and I was being lazy here! I didn’t need super sharp points for this project so didn’t sharpen them ‘properly’ here. I have sharpened them in my usual fashion for other projects, however, you are right that the pastel snaps easily and is more brittle. Faber Castell is a very hard brand, some they’re amongst the easiest to sharpen!
Sooo beautiful, so many details yet you explain them in a fantastic pace, Thanks!
Thanks so much, Josue!

Hi Sally, thanks so much and yes, it’s under ‘extended UA-cam Content’ drop me a support request if you still have trouble finding it though!
