Follow me on my journey to Facial Feminization Surgery, better known as FFS. This was by far one of the most difficult times in my transition. I chose to expose this process and myself in hopes of educating those who are contemplating going under the knife and/or getting any gender-affirming surgeries. I hope from this video you feel more connected to me as a person and not just a TV personality. The way I shot this was very raw, candid and REAL to show that we are all humans in transition. I want to thank all of YOU who have supported me since Day 1 and have never given up on me and my journey to being my most authentic self. From the bottom of my little trans heart, I love you guys so much!

When I was in college I spent all my money to go see you. When I met you you asked if I was going to buy some merch and I told you id love to but I was a broke college student. You then called your assistant and got a picture and signed it for me and told me " thank you for coming this is for you". That meant a lot to me and will never forget it. So proud of you

NGL, Gia get so much negativity online, I though this story was going to go SOUTH after the beginning part. HOWEVER, I'm now starting to watch her UA-cam videos and I JUST LOVE HER HEART SHINING THROUGH. A lot of folks will judge her for her cattiness on RPDR-- YOU CAN'T DENY SHE IS GREAT TV! And she "ABSOLUTELY" SERVES!

I really cried watching this and that note from your Aunty. Obviously your appearance is so important to you as it is for everyone and I hope you get that validation from everyone in your life like you do from us who admire you. But that love from your aunt the little things like saying she admires your home and your hard work and persistence, that goes so much further than affirmations of beauty. Sure your mother is insanely proud of you.

I don't even know if you will read this but I wanna say this video made me cry so hard. I am a 23yo pansexual babe who is exploring gender in a not so traditional way who has had multiple medical procedures done for health reasons. I have lots of trans and non binary folks in my chose familly and this is really nice to see you living your real life, getting surgery and showing the rough side. Ive had knee surgery at 16yo and no one my age in my friend group knew how bad I needed this surgery but also how rough recovery is. If it wasn't for my familly who helped me through it I really don't know how I would have done it. I also think that its important for young trans folks to see like that it is a very long recovery. Getting surgery is dangerous and comes with risks and the recovery is no jokes.
All that to say I am sending you much love from canada and I am very happy to see you with your support system strong around you because you truly deserve the best babe! Thank you for inviting us into your life, its truly a priviledge to see you grow!

Gia’s FFS surgery and healing -she’s gorgeous. She has a longer face (not masculine), simply longer. Her softness is so apparent and her eyes are bigger and still gentle! Love seeing her continue to grow and evolve. Wishing all the best.

❤ People shouldn’t assume that who you are online/TV doesn’t sum you up 100%. People should kinder and more understanding. If everyone was summed up based on an edit / a joke / reaction we’d all look bad. Humans are complex. This video shows that you have deep feelings, you’re care a’lot about others and a very sentimental person (which explains your tough persona). Your tough, because the world has forced you to be (in order to survive & thrive). Also, it’s not your fault people take everything to heart, and expect you to be “perfect” and not make mistakes.

I went into this not knowing whether I’d watch the whole thing, and unfamiliar and uneducated with the trans experience, but I found myself watching the whole thing and smiling and crying with you. I am already 16 mins in and I have already cried. I have to say.. so far (and I hope I don't eat my words) but so far this doctor and his staff (the nurses) are so professional, knowledgeable and they actually care.
I think you look so beautiful, make up or not. And I do absolutely see a difference post-op, its just a natural subtle perfect look. I do think you should wait as long as you comfortably can for the swelling to go down on your face. It really can take a long time, and I could already see small changes in the clips from you visiting the dr for the impromptu post po check in, to your testimonial at the end. So excited to see more updates hopefully along your journey!

Some doctors do it endoscoply but I feel like this doctor really goes underneath the skin in into the skull and really does fine-tuning rather than others don’t really get into the deep plane that really gives you that affect

Thanks for sharing your vulnerability. I think it is amazing that you're sharing your story so that other people who feel the same don't feel so alone. Another thing is that more cis people need to understand that this isn't a casual thing for people. This journey is not for the weak. There is a lot of scary surgeries and such to help get you as close as possible. I thought you were a cis woman 100%. The feminization surgery turned out fantastic in my opinion! *hugs*
