Really is the best episode. After getting pulled into the show seeing Gia Gunn as guest and gagging over the fun format and witty remarks between Monet and Gia, not gonna lie, legit got hooked and started to become a Monet fan, watched a few of her other episodes. And I dare say, this is by far the best episode with Gia as guest, better than the one with RuPaul. Okay there I said it but also better than RuPaul's silly daily talk show. There I said that too.
They need a show together! And call Bob's ass too (cuz Gia was great with him on the Billboard show)

I was just thinking this! A political segment with Marti informing people about the candidates, exploring the issues and ultimately encouraging folks to get out and vote would be really good.
You can see the moment when Gia realizes that Monet’s intentions in her tweet was to set the record straight for Peppermint not to bring Gia down.
But when Pepper did the season she was a man, she "pretend " or not that she was a man, and to be honest she looked totally like a man in her season, even in drag......for me Gia is the first woman ( that actually looked like a woman) and was wearing a dress when not in drag

In December, 2022.... I find myself rewatching the Xchange Rate and wishing we still had it to cheer us up! Monet, I am such a fan and am SO proud of you and ALL of your accomplishments. Also, Gia is one of the most STUNNING queens to come out of Drag Race periodt.

Let me start by saying I have always had total respect for Gia Gunn. As someone who does fan remixes and bitch tracks (for fun) of most of the RPDR girls...GIA was not only one of the first girls to acknowledge me, but thanked me and even allowed me to use her name (featuring...), knowing I had no intention of making a cent off my tracks. She was hilarious on her season and it was clear that on All-Stars, she was going through it and I can't imagine going through such personal, dark times IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. The fact that she sat here with Monet and owned all of it, apologized and basically told it how it was (a dark, fucked up period in her life) says a lot about her character. I also want to make a point of mentioning how incredibly BEAUTIFUL her Kabuki-Inspired talent number was....it really was a highlight of that entire season for me. It showed something unexpected, a part of her upbringing/cultural heritage/training etc. Props to Miss Xchange for making this happen...this was my first time watching this series and I was shocked that it's a 50 min show!! I was such a breath of fresh air to watch!!

Now I want Tyra and Tatianna on next season to hash it out and find peace with one another.

it made me so happy to see that they started off the Gia/Monet interview by making a game out of complimenting each other. though there was a little shade at the start, and though there was a little awkward tension, I'm so glad that they are both making such a strong effort. I also cannot even begin to imagine how hard it was for Gia to open up about her mum as well as give her most authentic and heart felt apology. that is called GROWTH and GRACE! I am so proud of both of them for putting away their pride and just opening up to one another. this is the kind of positivity and respect that we need to see more from people now a days. they are setting a wonderful example of positive conflict resolution.

I actually ended up feeling bad for Gia after watching this. Sure, she was pretty nasty in and out of Drag Race, but it seems like it's all coming from a place of hurt. I really hope she finds happiness within herself and hopefully this reconciliation is a step towards her healing.

In Gia's defense, and if she would herself realize this, that she is the first Post-operative Trans Queen to be on the show. If she would phrase it this way there would be no confusion.
At first I thought I wasn't gonna watch because of Gia, then I did and it turned out to be a great fun. Monet is a great entertainer and interviewer.
I live for the audience interaction she encourages a lot of the time. Feels so authentic and refreshing. She doesn't just include her opinion she asks everyone else too. Love it. Makes us screen viewers feel really involved too
