I really like this kind of duality between Rude and Reno. Rude has a silent and calm personality, even though with hands like that he is literal one-man-army. However, he gets easily confused when something goes not according to his expectations, and it seems hard for him to argue with someone (it is described perfectly in interactions between Reno and Aerith in this video). On the other hand, Reno is all about agility and speed. As cunning as he is, he is not averse to take some reinforcements and traps with him. His personality is more rebellious, and yet he also shows some kind of laziness and overconfidence (still easily dealing with his defeat). And yet he is also more aggressive, cruel and likes to play with his enemies. They really are the best duo.
I never really thought it through that deeply. I did notice though how Rude is seemingly very stoic and serious, while Reno is very laid back and emotional, if cocky to a fault. And yet, they give Rude the humorous tick of always having extra sunglasses on hand. And that's not including AC having Rude casually stand up after getting knocked down, just to get beaned in the head by a sign. But they made Reno pretty much a joke in AC, too. They put a LOT of work into making this pairing work well at complimenting each other. And I love the subtle nod the remake pays to Rude's crush on Tifa. And for that, I appreciate the nod they gave to it, by having Reno try to shoot Tifa from the helicopter, only for Rude to suddenly jerk the controls to throw off his aim, effectively protecting her from his own partner.
I liked that line. It shows that when Aerith says "Rude's not a bad person", she was telling the truth. Rude knows that something VERY bad is about to go down in Sector 7 (if perhaps not the full details), and he's basically telling Aerith to stay home for her own safety.
@Isildur Son of elendil That is actually a sound theory. It was strange to be how rude moved the chopper when reno was going to kill tifa. @@flyroc64 and here is my counterpoint: What am I supposed to evaluate you by, if not by your actual actions? Being a "good person deep down" is like considering yourself rich because you think you know where some treasure lies at the bottom of the sea. The potential to become something is not equivalent to the actually being of that thing.
From what I know, It is first and foremost a matter of perspectives. People and the action the pose can be considered good or bad depending on those who either suffer or benefit from it. You would evaluate people simply by what you piece of them through their actions and attitude of course, but there is always a story behind the story. Does it excuse the action? Open to debate. Ex: Is Cloud a good person? Is Cecil a good Person? Is Zidane a good person? Yes they all fought to save their world and protected ton of people on countless occasions. No, they murdered a ton of people on their fights/Wars. Those people also had families and loved ones. Beyond that, there is the straight evil/destructive people doing destructive actions. But at this point, the Turks morality is following the "order", basically the same as SOLDIER. No kid wants to become a soldier to do bad things: but they still do bad things and are called heroes for doing them.
I can't understand why rude, reno and then can't recognise Cloud even though they gave him and zack chase only few moments before he got to midgar. This was the best fight in this game for me. The amazing thing is... I don't even like Rude that much... But he is amazing in this game. As a Boss and as a character.
andrew tate boss fight😳
Here we see the man with the strongest hands ever
That was smooth how you tagged out the minute Cloud got tossed lol
"Here it comes"
"I'm coomiiing"
*SHIT*
Haha some of the dialogue is pretty funny
Aerith: “No need to get rough!”
Cloud and Rude: Stay Back 😨
Cloud: *breaks Rude's glasses
Rude: *applies shades with malicious intent
Andrew Tate doesn’t know what FF is 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wish I had the planet size balls Rude has to take on a guy with a massive sword with my bare hands...
ironically cloud being RUDE to RUDE himself
Anybody gonna talk about rude's phone ringtone
That why I here for, cause it look like they change a phone, last time it use to be flip phone
@@PlaystationGamerZX Well, the original game and subsequent sequels before Remake were released when flip phones were still a big trend. But since smartphones are the most used phone right now, they need to update the model.
Rude: "wait a minute! Those eyes. That weekend in Reno?"
Cloud: [wink]
I love how both Cloud and Rude tell Aerith to stay back. 🤣
"Rude's not s bad guy."
*Drops the plate of Sector 7*
He did say "I sometimes have to do bad things."
@@ZakTheFallen Yes, he did. But if our character isn't determined by our actions, then what do we judge it by?
That's the point. People are more complex than their actions.
He felt like a Yakuza boss and I loved it
What color is your Materia?
What Color is your chocobo
I love how both Rude and Cloud say "Stay back."
3:03 poor aerith i felt that
Rude: So long, King Cloud!
One of my favourite boss battles, the theme sound is so epic and really captures the moment.
Same theme as Reno
Rude is just playing Yakuza and he’s the main character
Looks like Agent 47 has appeared in Final Fantasy Vii XD
Way before his time buddy lol
@@am_infinite Shhh
Nah, Rude was Agent 47 before it was cool.
Bruh Rude came out waaaaay before Agent 47 so basically Agent 47 copy Ride
@@PlaystationGamerZX Oh stop being so serious about that, it's only a joke.
MR WORLDWIDE!
Is it unusual that I like side characters like Rude, Biggs, Jessie, or Wedge more than *any* character from FFXIII?
Rude is secretly Saitama's ancestor. Both Bald and physical brawlers.
I can't understand why rude, reno and then can't recognise Cloud even though they gave him and zack chase only few moments before he got to midgar. They would have not want to hear about what happened to zack, how did he survive or even say sorry because they seemed to appreciate zack and cloud even a little bit.
Also i want to hear rude and reno talk about their love interest in the remake too... huhuhu
5:00 nice advent children reference
If I ever go bold .. rude's look will be the look I will go for ..
