Stellar football comments by the way. My take is when one guy is in control of the GM chair and the HC spot and you win 8 games in 3 years……this had to happen. I know they felt cap pressure to stick it out but that record coupled with a polarizing figure to begin with, of course fans stayed away.
Not enough commentary or community of viewers to say the things that will lead to positive changes starting with playering Trey Ford and Winning games because our Qb is more talented than the other guy on a given night of CFL football. Also our Linemen are playing to cleanly and without intensity, gotta play with a edge and with just a touch of dirty to win.

Jones has been described asa "defensive genius", but that brilliance wasn't reflected in defensive team play. Instead we saw an incompetent offense, a highly flawed defense, and overall a poorly disciplined team that committed lots of unnecessary penalties...basically they played "stupid" for the past three seasons.
@@grahammcfadyenhill9555 Jones doesn't look like a defensive 'genius' to me, but it's also clear he doesn't have the personnel to compete with other teams. In a nutshell, Edmonton's roster is sub-par and no coach can coach a sow's ear into a silk purse...
Best thing that ever happened however it look like the people who are left did not learn a thing. The Esks have a great opportunity to go back to their glory days. We now have two good quarterbacks with completely different skill sets like wilki and moon. But to take advantage of this you require an offensive coach to recognize this. You cannot put Tre in and use him as a pocket passer. You make him mobile with rollouts and moving the pocket. Then you use MBT as the pocket passer. Now teams have to prepare and adjust on the fly for each QB. This gives the offence a huge advantage. Alas I do not think our current coaches on the offensive side are up to the task.
What about before jones came along whose fault was then. Starts at the very top. How can you destroy the once class of the league to a laughing disaster.

5 games is a huge chunk of the season - its a big deal
