Is nice since you do have a roof and a cover
good video, though I think it could have been nice to hear a little about each biome and the advantages and disadvantages they have when it comes to a base
This was good, I feel like you could have shown a lot more of how to set up the church and blacksmith base especially with the roof being a great place to dry clay and even more visibility.
also you should put all the final rankings in the description.
Thank you!
Great work! I just put in some small adjustment. It's weird though to say any other base has a better vision than hilltop base , you have the entire open space around you by just moving to third vision, so good for spotting tools mob during the night and you should have like zero trouble seeing if a creeper is next to your base. You rate the vision of hilltop as 7 but it's 10 for stone church for some reason.
Also your video is now in the BTW Early Game Guide Playlist! :)
I gave the church a 10 because it's about 10 blocks high, so It can see over a hill or treeline unlike some hilltop bases
the vision in early game is normally for certain purposes, the most important ones are to check if there is any hostile mob like creeper hiding outside your base and to locate mob drops. Having blind spots of vision near your base kinda defeats the purposes of having a large vision. I rate hilltop as 10, church as 10 and blacksmith a 7 becuz of blind spots in vision.
What about a large trench base in a Plains biome? It's more of a night 2 base i guess, but it offers a lot more space especially for drying clay
Just gotta remember to mine in the center and not on the edge, if you don't want a creeper to open the way for zombies
desert temple is also a great base, especially if it's near some forest. if you spawn close to it you can collect bones to make bone clubs and go hunting or kill some spiders etc. also as far as I know there can be villages 1500-2000 blocks around world spawn without crops, zombie villagers or anything else(fully looted), because I spawned in them few times. they are very useful, because you can mine a lot of loose¿ cobblestone to make a lot of small stones or whatever they are called
Making a spiral but it's a 35x35 area around a small water pond is prob the best long term base on day 1.
Not sure how easy it would be to secure a large area like that
Very easy in fact. You could spend downtime of one night and use dirt from clay digging to make the 1.5 block wall around the base.
W video
Thanks for the comment!
how to find these villages more easy? i just reset again and again untill i spawn next to one?
Yeah pretty much. It's about 1 in 50 seeds for me
its possible to find a live village at the start?
Not with cured villagers
Try making a survival series pls
I will once I don't have so much work for school
