Selena you just saved me so much aggravation I can't even tell you. I bought the same unit for my car but they told me I needed a 6m long extra harness for the Harmon Kardon system to wire it from the trunk etc. BUT! I was so confused because nothing matched the harness connectors and I wasn't getting anywhere. So I just did what you did but then I had no sound (Like you). Well I've searched high a low for instructions on what to do to make this thing have sound but NOOOO. Selena you are the ONLY ONE that shows what to do if your Harmon Kardon isn't a GPS or a screen style and just a Business CD H/K. When you didn't show how you made sound at first I almost pulled my hair out LOL. But then you DID!! Now I know the two cables ant blue etc must be connected together. Sigh!... Thank you for showing that. NO one shows how to or even tells how to make that work. TY big time! And thank you to your man as well he has taught me much over the years!!!!

Does anyone had a problem with the Wifi? Mine its was working in the beginning but for a while after that when I connect to the internet and I try to do same updates the internet run away like its very weak.. And it's the same if I open any app which is using internet.
I wont buy from Seicane again. The unit didn't fit the car they said it would, and I had to pay Aus$80 for return shipping. I'd recommend Eonon instead.

hi, does the subwoofer work on this radio? i had the 9" version and try installing my sub on it and it wasnt picking up the subwoofer at all so i had to sell the radio and buy a new one. its a shame i loved this radio

I have no issues I use it everyday since the car is driven daily. I use it mostly for radio and bluetooth. The longest I had it on was four hours since we drove to vegas.

I've been wanting one of these for so long but I'd like one that has min 3gb RAM and 32gb ROM plus latest Android and the one thing that none of them have yet is satellite radio connection. Regarding the unit; that A2DP bluetooth connection is a bummers, too bad it doesn't just connect automatically.
I have Eonon GA7201A (For 5 series E39) and it turns on just as fast, Android 6.0.1 is no issue so far for me. Using Spotify on the unit is a blast no need to stream. Only downside is that it does not start to play automatically, I have to push "next" on the steering wheel but that is also alright.
Do you know if the built in mic works very good???? I'd rather not route the mic thru my car if I don't have to. Also does it come with a Wifi setup and antenna like the Eonon unit does?
I have a harman Kardon professional radio. It sounds great but it's impossible to run aux or USB on it because it lacks the mode for it. Too bad units like these are so damned expensive.. I mean, my 328 is from 1998. I always have something to fix or improve, so I can't justify putting the money in the radio

With the 2005 BMW 325Ci [convertible with large screen gps/cd/radio (din2) with three dead LCD spots], would this radio be a direct fit as in plug and play? If not, what other parts /or items do I need?

Has anybody ever installed one of these screen units in a convertible? I'm afraid all the glare and brightness from the sun will render the screen useless to see with the top down. Plus the routing of the mic, wifi and God can't run up the A pillar to the headliner as there's nothing up there but the courtesy light. Thoughts?

WOW! That unit wakes up so much faster than my Eonon one. Admittedly that's a much later iteration of Android, but that was quick. BTW, I really dislike the fact that my unit has only 8 Gb of on-board storage so your 16 gig is a hell of a lot more functional and the 2 gig of ram wouldn't hurt either. I see you were intending to put your GPS antenna exactly where I put mine. That's a great place for it and it's so discreet it almost disappears so it's well worth the effort of taking trim off to run the wire up the pillar. Nice job. Usb ports? I routed one cable under the center console and attached it to a usb/aux out flush mount fitting that I located into the very rear of the 4"x3" oddments tray under the center arm rest. My charging cable lives there and for the other, I used a spade bit to drill a hole in that piece of dash trim that runs over the steering column and then put another black flush mounted port in there. When you take the trim off, you find there's an oval shaped hole already through the dashboard material itself. You can then drill the trim so the port is aligned with that hole and eliminate the need to alter the dashboard material at all. I mounted it there because if I want to delete the port, I can simply replace the trim piece and go right back to OEM. Without anything plugged into it, the flush port doesn't really stand out at all but I have a little bright chrome Sandisk Cruzer usb drive in there for extra storage. Just a rundown on what I did with mine. Having installed it and lived with it for a while i couldn't go back to the BMW Business despite the fact I like the retro look of the original head unit. This is a worthy upgrade for an E46. Nice job on the video Selena. You take the time to explain things really well which is much appreciated.
