Dear Prof, It has been an opulent lesson. Many a person likes your teaching all over the world due to the fact that you are excellent, brilliant and adorable.Hence, retaining in touch is one of the most important things to do. Undoubtedly, you are likewise stunning, gorgeous and thrilled teacher. I daresay English will be my second language. Love you Prof ❤️❤️❤️. Ciao from Venice, Italy. A
Hi, Gill. Thanks for this lesson. I remembered my keyboard lessons when I was 6 years old. I hated my teacher because he showed me this vocabulary before starting with the keyboard. Now, I'm so happy to understand this vocabulary. Thanks again.
Dear Gill, thank you very much, You always explain in so understandable way! And it is a real pleasure to hear your very correct British English! And, of course, thank you very much for your interesting and useful lesson! Warm wishes from Moscow!
Thanks Gill. Music isn't so easy to understand for a beginner. It takes some patience to figure out all the terminology and piece things together. This was helpful.
What a coincidence! I used to know some of these terms for a long time and almost forget it all. Just recently trying relearning the music knowledge for making some music. this lesson is a great help and motivation. Thank you so much Teacher Gill, appreciate it.
Excellent video...in fact, all of your videos are just AMAZING. As a musician, I would only like to point out that the stick on the oval is called a "stem" and the oval itself is also called a "notehead" :)
@@Peter-py1pv Hi Peter. The term "pitch" has many meanings in music. Would you give me an example sentence so I can be sure of what meaning you are referring to?
Ma'am your teaching way is so attracted me, it's like my grandma says like stories..superb your accent..and all🙏. If you don't mind would you stay with my family. We always give a BIG Welcomethank youuuu..
And what about all the intervals? It might be very useful for musicians. Anyway, thanks a lot for your lessons because they're so informative and understandable.))
@@janarnaud8058 I think it is because of the school. For example, there are some people who write the quarter note rest as a reversed eight note rest. I think the French school still uses it, doesn't it?
It should be clear that "do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do" (an octave) are "C, D, E, F, G, A, H, C", in that order. So, "do" is C, not A. (This is C major.)☺ Edit: I just noticed that you don' t use letter "H" as a sign for a note/tone. It is "B" in english vocabulary of music. Am I right or am I mistaken?🤔
It' s very interesting who can play an music instrument. I' m play piano. You can make some other the video about music, please? Thanks! You are very nice !
I love your voice Ms. Gill! I can listen to you all day. Love your accent! Love everything about you. 😍

Kindly I wanna ask you what's the exact meaning of "pitch" in music? Thanks!
@@Peter-py1pv Hi Peter. The term "pitch" has many meanings in music. Would you give me an example sentence so I can be sure of what meaning you are referring to?
@@JohannBaritono - I have no example for the moment, thanks anyway.
A "pitch" in singing voice or something like that...:)
@@Peter-py1pv if you're singing in the right pitch, it means you're singing in tune.
@@JohannBaritono Thanks, JohannB!

I'm musicien. Thank you, Gill, very well explained. Why in english is not named do, re, mi...A, B, C, it means nothing.
They actually are. Do, re, mi, fa, so, la ti.
@@JohannBaritono I know, so why don't use it? because I always read A, B, C, D, E, F, G, as chords name.
