I love that the Savior has made it possible for us to repent. I've been in places I shouldn't have been before and made bad decisions, but it is astounding to me that even when I've been my worst self the Lord still desires for me to come to Him so that He can cleanse and heal me. Right now, things are a bit rough still, but I want to feel full of light again. May you all have a great Christmas.

@@CalledtoShare Absolutely True! 🕊️🌿 Chastity is also essential, in our personal spiritual growth. And it seems like many people, are looking for love, in ways that contradict the meaning of love - when it is outside of marriage. There is also no way to respect another person, who wants you to freely give them what is a sacred.

How so? General Conference sermons? Anybody can do that.
I see no evidence of President Nelson being a prophet, seer, or revelator. Do you?
I see lots of it. Adjustments to church schedule, come follow me, home centered church, all in preparation for the closing of churches and temples - he definitely saw that coming. I see it in the advancement of temple building and the exponentially expansion of that process.
@@sirrichard87you have to ponder it and pray about it with an honest and sincere heart and find out for yourself. Physical evidence rarely convinces anybody because then where would faith be? Other people like me can tell you that he’s a true prophet all you want, but you have to find out for yourself.

It doesn't destroy your testimony if you are using God to be physically intimate outside marriage with the Lord's help to help you learn He's there. How dare I right? Not really, not in my world. I'm just trying to learn and grow and make sense of this world I was born into and also connect with God.
I don't need a great swelling speech, the journey of my life, to come closer to God, to meet Him. He has me involved in many different things, that ultimately I will learn, are all part of God's beautiful Loving plan for me. I get to learn that plan each and every day as I connect with Him now.
I definitely is to repent, and forsake everything except the word that He gives you.
The tender mercies for the infirmities that I glorify God with.
Yes I am a singer but I got closer to God because of it.
Hence, the purpose of this life.
Coming to God with full purpose of heart and work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Nothing is impossible with God.
My testimony has been built by going outside the boundaries and then repenting.
The very first talk that Elder Bednard gave this conference about that.
That's one of his better sermons.
The rainbow people may scream and screech when hearing this truth. But God does Not change his laws because these people choose to follow the lust of their flesh, rather than the spirit of God.
God's laws have proven themselves over the ages - time and time again.

Two of the greatest laws and rules given by God through the restored gospel are, (1) The Law of Chastity and, (2) The Word of Wisdom. Obeying those two laws have kept so many, my self included, out of so much needless hardship, pain, trial and struggle. Imagine if the world adopted these two rules.

All these comments seem to be people worshiping his feet. I guess that's why there were more mentions of "President Nelson" than "Jesus" in the latest conference. Should be called the Church of President Nelson of Latter-day Saints.

Let's start with you retracting your false statement that President Nelson was mentioned more than Jesus was in the latest general conference.
@@CalledtoShare In the Sunday afternoon session, there were 65 mentions of "President Nelson" and only 47 mentions of Jesus. Count them if you don't believe!
In the first talk of that session alone, D. Todd Christofferson mentions Jesus over 40 times, and President Nelson 3 times. I'm not going to bother doing the math on the rest of the talks because clearly your data is wrong.
I don't know your method for counting the name Jesus, like if it is mentioned multiple times in the paragraph if you are only counting it once, but either way, your numbers don't add up.
I would love for you to send my your talk by talk breakdown of the numbers though.

President Nelson points us toward Christ. Strangely, the world has set up this false-paradigm that commandments must be connected to biology . . . They're not.
I truly believe this is true, but I also believe that the body dictates when. Just like all animals, there is a season to a man and a woman where they are "in heat", and as the name suggests, it's almost like an illness in the sense that no man or woman can dictate it's onset. That being said, and knowing that it WILL come, and a certain time frame when it usually does, it is up to man and woman to be ready, papers in hand, commitments made to the children that will come out of the situation, and a home and way of supporting them done and in motion by the time it sets in. We have failed our young by not helping with that process, not making sure that their home is built, their job lined up, their skills honed, in taking care of home and family. When school became mandatory, it was also mandatory to teach them those home skills and those child rearing skills, now we think that they will just magically be prepared, and that has resulted in over a million abortions a year, and almost 11 million single parent families. Without the support of the community in making those skills commonplace by the time a child reaches his/her season, there is very little chance for them to keep those commandments in a public system.

A few weeks ago, I found a short thats about most harsh punishments people experienced than jail, I ran by.. a punishment that is go to church every sunday, why does the person who created the short think that as a punishment?
Because they feel guilt for their sins, and don't want to accept responsibility for their own actions.
Sleep in some Sunday, rest, follow the Lord's admonition to rest on the Sabbath Day, and then you'll know how great it is.

Disgusting and sad. I feel horrible for David Archuleta and what he must be going through from this type of messaging. There is nothing wrong with being Gay and acting on it. Don't listen to this hateful message. Joseph Smith was a liar and commented adultery, don't look for morals from him.
The truth is the truth. You can it hate, just as those who crucified the Savior. But the truth remains.
There is something very wrong with homosexual activity. It's spoken of in the Bible. It is contrary to nature, and it doesn't lead to any divine purpose.

Because of Joseph's polygamy, thousands practice it today. Those that don't practice are then shunned by their family. Yet, here you are talking about STD's that effect the heterosexual community as well. Wow 👌 I am glad I don't believe in your God, he sounds evil.
Just so people are aware there is an organization called "holding out help." It helps those leaving a polygamous organization. Leaving this out there in case it helps just one person.
