I have same 2023 I up 600. It’s a beast I love it. I added Iron Baltic skids and am getting bearclaw htr tires soon. Going to Jericho for Memorial Day weekend 2024!
👌 totally agree with you on the CF600. I own a 2021. I trail ride and plow with it with some occasional mud riding, usually during the spring. It works for these tasks and is very comfortable on the trails..I wouldn’t put it through the paces like you guys with your Canams though. It’s not built as heavy duty as those machines. Great channel guys. Keep up the good work.
I own a Cforce 600 and a Cforce 800xc Both are great machines and haven't ran into any issues with either of them. I installed a MSC Stage 3 clutch kit and there is a world of difference over factory clutching. I will be doing the same to the 600. Nice video but I think for the money I put out for these you can't go wrong with CF Moto!!!
We have a 2021 500 and a 2021 600 here in north central Wisconsin, use them for ice fishing, work around the farm and trail riding. ZERO issues and love them so far.
Just bought new 2022 cfmoto on Monday seems like a great machine. It is a 600 with a free plow a two year warranty all for 7546.00.Like your video keep them coming .Thanks
Got a 2020 CForce 600. Been an amazing bike. I plow with it. And do some hard mud riding. It’s never let me down. I have 1300km now and still the original belt and everything. I have been really happy with my purchase
Own the identical quad in a 21 model year. Its the 3rd CFM quad I've owned. Bought a 2018 cforce 400 in 18. Sold it to my former sister in law last summer.....its got 2500 miles on it and still going strong. Its a tank. In may of last year I wanted a cforce 600 but my dealer was out of stock until August....so I bought a 21 cforce 500 for a summer ride. Also a tank with a little more pop than the 400. When the 600's hit my dealers showroom I traded the 500 in with 350 miles on it....dealer gave me what I paid for it...except I lost out on freight and sales tax. Figured I more than got my $900 worth out of the quad. My 600 did me great the remainder of the riding months and kept my yard plowed out this winter. Everything these may not be in the mud....they are excellent trail machines...and really shine on technical trails with logs and rocks. On Drummond Island last early fall....it definitely outshined my wifes 19 Sportsman, and my bro in laws 21 Can Am 570 (visco lock sucks for rock crawling) or at least his did....as does my wifes quad with the "on demand" front diff. Rock ledges do pose issues with both Can Am and Polaris front diffs. I get the apprehensiveness that comes from people in regards to chinese built machines. However, most everything on these quads in terms of clutching, fuel injection and power steering electronics are not from China. And ironically what most people don't realize....most everything on a Can Am and Polaris aside from the motors....clutching, fuel injection, electronics and steering parts also comes from China. In the case of my wifes 19 Sportsman 450 HO....the 500cc motor is a Linhai and comes straight from China. Great review....and all of us CFM enthusiasts truly appreciate your honesty.
Definately like this machine. I agree it is a great machine on the trails. It's smooth, easy to steer, and just fun in general. The clutch kit wakes the machine up. The price point is the real seller. Cheers Jimmy
You don't know what you are talking about the Polaris AWD is the best by far. I have Grizzly and Kodak 700 with diff lock and have a Sportsman xp 1000 and I Loved the AWD setup on the Sportsman the best. I have the 1000 modified just for rock crawling with 63 1/2" wheelbase and hole book of upgrades I can go up stuff a SXS will struggle on or not even make it.
@@crazyflyboy30 Thanks for letting everyone know you have a big bad Sportsman 1000. I'm pretty sure that was your whole aim here. However, since your claim is that I don't know what I'm talking about. What does comparing a cforce 600 to a sportsman 450 have to do with a sportsman 1000 with modified AWD? Let's make it even simpler for ya. Do you own a cforce 600?
@@jimmydesperado2936 no I have Grizzly and Kodak 700 that has the same 4x4 setup and it doesn't compare to the AWD setup of Polaris , It work so much better than I will never buy another brand. I will also say that after my first reply that I didn't stop to think that the Sportsman 450 AWD maybe not has good has the Sportsman XP 1000 and I'm putting my life on the line that it works perfectly climbing rock walls and so far it has been .
@@sethharman3006100%, and clutch kit is a requirement on these, even on stock tires for trail riding. They are set terribly from the factory. Even just reclocking the rear to C1 and adding 2 pennies behind each of the weights in the primary will bring them to where they should have been. (Each penny is 2.5g). C1 alone will help with stock weights. The idle RPM and engagement are both set too high on them, the spring is really light, it results in just revving really high with no go at slower speeds.
Idk why it gets a lot of hate because most of the quads now days come with a lot of foreign parts. Not all brands are fully all made by the brand. Yes the quality is greater but bang for the buck cfmoto makes a great bike.
@@6foot8jesuspilledpureblood82 I own three CF Motos, a 400, 500 and 800XC nothing has exploded yet with 296mi on the 400, 445 on the 500 and 583 on the 800XC.
Agree. You can't tell me that there aren't any parts on a Polaris or Honda that aren't made in China.... So far great luck with my 22 600 Touring after 9 months/ 500 miles
Nice video. Had Grizzly's and 570's for years. I now own 2 2022 600's and myself and the family love them. Bang for $$$ you can not beat it. We have a variety of terrain on our proprty and the CFMoto has handled it all. Have not even needed to use the winch yet. They are too new to tell how it will perform long term but I keep up on maintenance and clean them after every ride so I think I should be in good shape. If your looking for a reasonable ATV that can do it all CFMoto is a great choice.
Great video and much appreciated coverage. I grew up riding everything under the sun but I'm a 44 year old dad now who's looking to buy 2 and your videos have sealed that deal for me. Politics aside, people critize "Chinese" made products and don't realize 90% of the shit they buy is Chinese, including Abby and all electronics. I'm looking at value for my hard earned money period and these check the boxes for me. Thanks for your work!
Just bought me a 2022 Cfmoto 800xc and my first ride I went through some water and the bike started overheating shortly after with the fan not kicking on. This video actually help me diagnose without taking back to dealer, my fan fuse was popped. I replaced and working fine now! Thanks for the info if you had never said that in the video I would have never known. Love the videos!
I have a 2021 cforce 600, I bought brand new in 2021. 1st upgrade was rim and tires system 3 rims with swap lite tires 27x14 x9 up front 27 x 14 x11 rear. Just installed 1.50 perfeix lift kit and " wheel spacers. 1st and 2nd main st cycle clutch kit. I'm waiting for my storm rad relocation and snorkel kit. I want to invite both of you to come out for a ride where I ride. I ride all different terrain on the same ride.
What i like about my cforce 500 is… everything… except 1 thing. I can’t use the rear brake. I’m 68 yrs old, had both hips replaced and have arthritis. I cannot point my toes inward far enough to reach the brake pedal. I’ve looked for a pedal extension but so far no luck. Other than that, it beats shoveling snow by a mile!
Great vid, I'm picking one up on Monday. Been looking at videos on them. I have a 2003 Suzuki eiger 400 that I bought new and it's still going strong but I think it's time to upgrade to a softer suspension. I will be upgrading the tires and adding a lift and wheel spacers. As for clutching I'll see how it performs first. I dont usually go mud riding but I do get into some nasty stuff hunting. Thanks guys!
Great review! I just bought a ‘22 Overland 1000 and it’s a beast! Started with a ‘20 Outlander 650 XT Max and that was a beautiful machine, then last year changed and went to a ‘20 RZR 1000. Nice enough, but I missed the quad. Just picked up the Overland a week ago. About 125 miles already and I’m very impressed. Solid, solid machine, plenty of power for what I use it for. Smooth ride. Everything seems quality and maintenance access is extremely convenient.
You really get a great ATV for the money. And especially when you are looking on the things like LED lighting, power steering, diff lock, alloy wheels and the winch. It is unbeatable. And it rides great and it looks great! Mine is completely street legal. It is my first quad in general and I´m really happy with it! Greetings from Germany "JR"
Thank you for the video. I'm considering buying a cforce. The cforce is in my price range, so I'm trying to get all the info I can to help make my decision.
I own two CF Motos, an 800 and a 600, I also own a 500 Polaris, all machines are stock. I’ve had far less issues with the CF Motos than the Polaris. Facts are a stubborn thing.
Makes me feel better about my 600 I don't put it through half the shit you guys do. I almost bought the 800 The extra power would be fun But I was on a budget And I figured the single would be better on fuel. So far I'm happy with it it seems to have plenty enough power For me anyways. I can always upgrade in a few years.
Yeah at like 14:00 , when he was transversing some deep stuff, he should have locked the diff before he entered. A locked diff won't overcome losing your momentum. They need to work together. I would have locked it before entering there and then he would have never lost momentum and had a good chance of making it through.
Locking the diff on that from the start wouldn't have made much difference. It has 2.5 foot ruts and about 2 feet of silt on top of them. Amazed it did what it did. No lie the thing keeps surprising us.
I have a 2021 CFMOTO CFORCE 600 Touring and i'm trying to find the same turning signal and horn as the Canadian version, have you all seen or know how to get that on the US version? thank you
Nice video! I bought my girlfriend a CF Moto 500 and for her it's a perfect machine but a little low to the ground, the power steering is amazing though. I totally agree with your assessment, it's not high end but will definitely get the job done for people that ride occasionally on the trails.
I bent the hell out of my Lower A Arm on a stump hidden in a mud hole. I still rode the rest of the day and didnt notice anything wrong until i went home to clean it lol
I’m looking for something to take deer hunting. Ride out to the stand, and just ride occasionally any other time. This be a good quad for that? Or what u recommend
Hey everyone to sum up this machine is a beast. No difference between these and any other quad now. I love every facet of this machine. It will go up and down anything and through pretty deep mud as a stock machine. I have Iron Baltic plastic skids and am getting bearclaw htr’s soon. We’re talking 2023 CFmoto Cforce 600 1 up here. Riding this machine is smooth. The shifting is smooth. The 4wd and diff lock are smooth. It’s the best thing I’ve honestly ever bought before in my life and I highly highly recommend buying one. Other than my wife and kids and pets this is my fourth love of my life. I’m going to Jericho Mountain Memorial Day weekend 2024! Let’s go!!!
From what I can tell it preformed extremely well, you show me one bike that don't get stuck, and I'll call it a second rate bike, other that that it's more than a contender.
They are pretty nice! But i paid alot for my 24 canam outlander xxc 1000r it was very expensive, but its very heavy built. 895lbs dry weight. Grease fittings on everything. My neighbor bought a cf moto 950 sxs unfortunately he's very disappointed with having many issues. Its very nice looking. But he bought it used? Do maybe thats why?
Getting ready to purchase a cfmoto for my son looking for a 400 or 500. The price was cheaper but man the transportation fee, ny state taxes, title, registration and other fees it adds up to the same price.
100% agree, if you use your quad hard, get one of the old established brands, but if you are just trail riding and not going to be hard on it, I think it will last.
Where in Canada do you need turn signals and a horn to make it road legal? I live in Ontario Canada and never heard of that or had any issues with the cops cause I don’t have them.
thanks for covering the CFMOTO because it is hard to find good quality reviews on it (that aren't from Europe anyways lol) I am shopping for a quad just to ride around with my kid so not pushing it and help around the work on our property so I am considering this and found this review very helpful. Have you covered the Segway quads? I'm also wondering how they are.
So what I have seen through your videos you really put it to the test I myself I am not going to ride it like that . After all of these rides you have put it through have you had any mechanical problems with the motor transmission that's such? I am hoping with the small trail riding I'm going to do occasional plowing and just to have fun on it this should last me a good long time is that correct? Thanks for any input I appreciate it
Very good video on cf moto. I have a question for you I have a base model 2015 sportsman 570 and looking to buy a second sportsman 570 (trail model) Can you tell me if there are any improvements, reliability or performance enhancements between the two? Thanks in advance Bernie
I don't understand the beef with the front differential! If it's locked it's locked right so what do they think it should be when it's unlocked? I would want it to be unlocked when unlocked and locked when locked! Like every other machine with a selectable "locking" diff that I have ever been on ! I thought that was a little stupid! Forgive me!
Thanks for the honest review. This will be helpful to us who aren’t mechanically inclined. Diesel for my truck is at about 5.00 per gallon in Indiana. Great videos guys.
That 600 is geting it done, hard to think not so long ago 2010 i bought a left over brute force 650 2009 with a plow on it. for 6500.00 cash from a volume dealer an at that time 2010 we had just come out of the 2008 ression ,i wont be doing that with my 500s ,but will probley try a mud hole at some point 55 just to much body beating for me ,where i live you will run into them at some point though
I'm in Canada I do have the blinkers and horn and my lower a arms are much bigger but I have the 2021 model And I know they changed a few things even the 22 model they changed a few things
It's just the way it looks in the video, the A-ARMS are the same on the 2020-2022, they actually are pretty solid. Remember guys, you want the A-arms to be the weak link and bend when you hit something hard, they are cheap and easy to replace, you do not want them overbuilt and then the frame gets pushed in and you have bigger problems.
What are the details of the "Clutch Kit" you put on your CF600? What weights, reclocking, and so on, where did you get it, and a "semi" sort of price range for the lit? I know it isn't rocket science to install and reclock the clutch, so just the parts if you please. I am very interested as I don't like the high revs before the 600 starts to move. BTW, all things considered, (standard equipment, price, looks and design) I really love my 21 600 Tour. I took off every sticker that was on the slick black plastic, looks better IMO. Thanks in advance.
replace your stock 1013 spring, 10g, b1 setup with approximately: 1014 with 10-12g or 1015 15-16g. C1 is great improvement from B1(stock) on stock tires, but could definately go up to C2/B3 with bigger tires.
My 2021 800 cforce with a stage 2 clutch kit and 28 motohavoks is a beast . I wanted a 2 up four wheeler. I didn’t need a XMR and I’m honestly not a fan of visco lok. So the xt outlander was not an option. In my person opinion . My cforce is better than all 3 Polaris ATV/UTV I’ve owned. I got my wife the 2 up 600, that’s all she needs . I do like my 800 way better than 600 . It’s night and day different.
@@LetDirtFly I think you guys would really like a 800 with Main Street Cycle stage 2 clutch kit or a 1000. I almost bought a XMR 1000 simply bc it had the visco 4 lok . When I saw the 800, I couldn’t walk away . It’s just a nice quad . The only down fall , the 800 has 65hp. The power is there tho . With the stage 2 , running bigger tires, it’s really all you “need” .
@@Rescuetech16 They are under powered for their cc's. The 1000 is like an 850 and the 800 is mare like the 650. The open diff is what really hurts them to me. If the 4x4 was like the polaris or can am they would be way more attractive.
Does Seth still have the Polaris? I'm from Minnesota and grew up on Polaris so I just recently purchased a 2022 Polaris Sportsman 570 Trail Edition. The 2022 has a lot of improvements from previous years. I have only plowed driveway and ripped neighborhood with it so far. Can't wait to make the trails my bitch with it. Love the heavy intro🔥 keep up the good work guys👍
Yeah i still have it. It was on plow duty this winter, but needs the ball joints done before it hits the mud again. The current setup on it is killer, and should be on the channel again soon.
hopefully I didn't miss it. I have a 22 600, the clutching is beyond annoying. I feel like when i'm in low the RPMs go to 4000-5000 before it starts to move. its also very jerky in forward and reverse.. what clutch kit did you go with and what did it do for you?
I know y'all don't do rock crawling, but just to let you know from a rock crawling perspective, my buddy has a Can Am Maverick turbo and when rock crawling, you literally need every ounce of momentum to get up a sudden steep cliff, and our group has noticed his Maverick won't instantly lock the 4x4 and that brief delay is enough to keep him from getting the momentum to hop up steep cliffs. The Kawasakis, and Yamahas in our groups with true lockers like the cf moto here, have zero issues climbing these cliffs, despite having less power and smaller tires than his Maverick. So there are situations where the CF Motos setup is better. It just depends on your riding style. For mud though, you definitely have to be more mindful with a system like the CF moto has vs say the Can Am. However if you use good judgement and pay attention, I think a true locking front differential has a slight advantage overall. It just requires a more experienced rider who knows when to engage it and not mess around.
I would agree the the true locking diff is a better 4x4 system. For hill and rock climbing i would choose the cf over the can am. Visco is good just not on demand it has to spin a little first.
In the 21 and old the low gear is almost too low and doesn't seem as nice as the can am. Seems to over rev. The 22s seem to be better and our 21 cf had headlights fogging the first week we had it with just rain coming down. Not a bad trail rider in high gear
How can the shocks be one of you complaints if they have held up and it rides well? The complaints that you had you actsually havent had any issues with...
Don't think for a minute any of these machines do well plowing snow.. especially if you live way up north and often get a lot of snow. You need weight to push snow especially heavy wet snow. 900 lb bikes just don't cut it unless you keep on top of a storm. Like go out and plow after every 2"-4".
I have a 1000 with à ecu reflash from neuro tuning (a tuner from Québec).the tuner add 18 hp to the bike !!with msc clutch kit its more powerfull than à 1000 r from canvam
Damn it man I’m waiting as I watch your video for my CForce overland 1000 I have been a nervous wreck asking myself if I made the right choice with this brand I sold my beloved Kawasaki brute force 750 to put towards this machine I will say to me isn’t cheap 13k$ with few extras I added to me Polaris are awesome machines I didn’t have any issues with mine but all my buddy’s did I will say it rode awesome but I did notice it was made cheap lots of zip ties from factory and lots of plastic my brute force is a solid tank I looked at Honda 520 but didn’t think it was worth 12 $k for the machine or 17500$ for a Polaris with no bumpers or winch or can am outlander max for round the same price I just hope this overland cf machine isn’t junk im in the parking lot 1 hr before place opens im excited bout the machine but worried at same time wonder if I bought the right machine great video by the way
49% owned by KTM so.....thats why the better fit and finish in the past 6-10 years. I have had teryx4 polaris but for the buck these are pretty legit with a ever more growing dealer network
They are surprising machines. This one has always pulled through stuff it had no business making it through. They seem to like a small dealership that doesn't carry to many other brands.
That’s not true anymore I’m in Nebraska and they are with all the other big boys at the biggest dealers. Gonna go for a 950hoex I think. Want another sxs but done wanna pay 20k for a base model whatever.
in 2020 they may have had rebates on these my dealer cant keep the 500s in stock ,as the 500 or the 1000 are the best bang for your buck math wise ,a 4 year warranty is a must ,i have a 2022 500s, i think they just tagged as 22 as they look exactly like a 2021 ,so with msrp $5899.00 looks great till they add the doc fee pre fees an the warranty mine was $7500.00 out the door with 4year warranty $600.00, thats what people are not mentioning ,i know still a good deal warranty a must guys on them without you get one year $6900.00 if it breaks ?? get a min 4 year i think they sell up to 5 years
Throw some 28 aztex on it and aftermarket wheels with a 1.5 inch perfex lift kit will need spacers unless you go 4+3 wheels, msc stage 2 clutch kit and you'll be surprised what that 600 will do, your already snorkeled... Give it a shot if the funds allow to.
I have the 28 Teraches on the Polaris now. Have been looking for some cheap wheels to mount to the cf. I want to try those out on it to see what it can do.
Yeah I'll take the Honda, cheers. Mines nearly 30 years old and doesn't blow any smoke and has NEVER failed me. Each to their own ay. It's been on the beach for years and is rusting to death but still keeps....on....going... no offense but that cfmoto is probably going to be in the wreckers in 5 years or less 🤔 😅 really hope this company can improve their reliability
I think that was a great rundown pushing it to its limits, but I think you’d get less hate if you put trail tires on the can am and ran through the same mud the cf moto went through, I think you’d find it would do about the same. Great video though, no one on UA-cam has really done what you guys did with that cf moto
I bought a ‘21 500 as a second machine for my daughter and friends to ride when they want to go with me. Why buy a machine when Tom has one for you to use rite ?? Haha
The Chinese thing for me is the biggest drawback for sure, but they have CF Moto headquarters in Minnesota and your also supporting the American dealers who sell and service them. It's gonna be a touchy issue for sure for some people. I personally own one and it's not because I love China, it was the only thing available as a 2up touring so I could take my son riding legally at the time. Local Polaris and Can Am dealers quoted me almost 6 months out from day of ordering and wanted over MSRP for the units. Screw that.
Most of the parts are sourced from international companies. For example, the motors are made by bosch which is a German/American company. Another thing, I know an ex cf moto dealer that got kicked off their vender list because he didn’t carry any of the bigger names for customers to compare the Cf motos to. That’s a lot of confidence they have
The frame, build quality, all look the same or better than the other makes, it doesnt look like any of them are built better than the other except Can-Am which appears to be a step higher. The CFMOTO looks more impressive in the frame/build quality area than Polaris/Suzuki/Yamaha etc, just comapre them side by side.
I got lost at the end of this video. You say you got a lot of negative comments about the atv being Chinese? Aren't you guys American? Aren't most atvs Japanese or Canadian?? I don't get what there gripe is?
Yes, we said that most people have a problem with quad being Chinese. We don’t have that problem. People think that because you purchase a Chinese ATV that we support Chinese Democracy. They don’t realize that basically everything we have here in the US is from China anymore. If you look at some comments in our previous CFMoto videos you’ll see some hilarious comments lol
Gotta say CFmoto has held its worth for me. I have an 2018 500HO. Just rolled 1100 miles this weekend. My father in law just hit 1700 miles. Have kept up with everything and everyone we have ridden with.
Theres a certain reality that seems to escape the really brand loyal folks here.... More and more of your beloved favorite quad is chinese and taiwanese..Its just the way the market works. Otherwise you`d be paying a lot more for your Canam and Polaris. Years ago it was the japanese who started supplementing the domestic market with parts. You know what the cry was?..."Japanese garbage!" Oh yeah . True story. Where are Japanese quads rated today? Yup. Chinese quads are so good now,... its amazing how catchup works. AND its why KTM , a premium motorsports manufacturer goes 49%/51% with CFMoto. Why? Its the best of both worlds. Ive had almost every brand. CFMOTO is fabulous.
You're right XMR is a better machine but costs as much as two of these. They arent comparable or competing against each other. If money is no issue, Go for Canam XMR anyday.
Had a 23’ which supposedly has 5 more hp for a few months. Absolutely rips compared to the Hondas I grew up on. So far I’m pretty happy with it

You don't know what you are talking about the Polaris AWD is the best by far. I have Grizzly and Kodak 700 with diff lock and have a Sportsman xp 1000 and I Loved the AWD setup on the Sportsman the best.

That's great!
Idk why it gets a lot of hate because most of the quads now days come with a lot of foreign parts. Not all brands are fully all made by the brand. Yes the quality is greater but bang for the buck cfmoto makes a great bike.

It seems the 800 is a better platform for a mud build. I've seen much bigger tires and lifts on those as opposed to the 600.

I'm sure they will keep improving every year.

Airdam set it up for lager tires and more mud than trail. It still needs to be adjusted more, but haven't had a chance yet

It rides very nice, but the build quality of the shocks isn't very good.
Is a 600 worth the jump from. A 400 to plow with
I would think so. More hp will do better pushing snow
Don't think for a minute any of these machines do well plowing snow.. especially if you live way up north and often get a lot of snow. You need weight to push snow especially heavy wet snow. 900 lb bikes just don't cut it unless you keep on top of a storm. Like go out and plow after every 2"-4".

All of it was under 1k. Still cheaper. You know we love our Can Ams here, but for what it is it's a good buy for the price.
I'd be fine spending an extra 1k for a Japanese or American quad... but not 3k more to match the options the cfmoto comes with standard.

It's heavier 740 can am is lighter n quik. My05 brute 7still rips..or cfmoto1000 but 1k lbs
I don’t hate them. But I’ll stick with my XMR
Agree. lol
You're right XMR is a better machine but costs as much as two of these. They arent comparable or competing against each other. If money is no issue, Go for Canam XMR anyday.
