To me, Spidey will be my all time favorite. But they're all great. Every character Marvel has is magic, and Daredevil is no exception; he holds a special place in my heart, to be honest.
I am a Romita Sr. Head all the way. I met him in a '02 Con and showed him a Spidey tat on my arm that was his art. He looked at it, then me, then the tat, then back to me and with a hilarious smirk said,' You're crazy.' which broke up the room. The next year I was in the hotel bar at the Con and his kid Romita jr. was sitting at the bar. He and talked where I showed him the tat half assed and he grabbed by sleeve and raised it all the way up enthusiastically seeing it was his pops art, going, 'No way! F'*ckin' cool, bro.' John Jr. made me feel 8 feet tall!h When I was leaving, I told him I showed his old man the year before, he was, like, what'd he say? Told him he said I was crazy. Again, big laugh in the bar and John nodding laughing going, 'Yeah, that sounds like him. " I bought him his next round of drink and left before he knew I'd done it. Thanks for the memory, your time and the company, John. Cheers, mate.
