You seem respectful of others and keep the volume at an acceptable level, right now this second there is a woman who's usually here on a sunday and i cannot hear my tv thats on full volume. It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't play the same tune for every song and try to fit the lyrics of every songs in with it. Most buskers are ok but some have sound systems so loud its unbearable. Don't worry about the council they will never reinforce the rules. And you are right about the "dodgy" people, surprised you didn't see any fights in the 2 hours you were busking. @@AugustRadioProjectSeems to me that you are pretty much alone in covering the world of "busking " as you do ! I certainly have not seen in my travels much at all on this ! There is a young spanish guy living in Dublin that was doing something similar, but then i do not see him no more in my feed ! I am not sure what methods exist in UA-cam that could possibly get your videos higher up in the feed ! There must be something more that you can do, but then you seem so on it that i,m sure you have done everything you can possibly do already ! You got this totally Brother....I guess you will need just to keep doing what you do and wait for that wave on your August Radio beach....dont worry im sure its on its way !

I actually started making these 'Busking in...' videos after I tried to find out how to busk in London and found absolutely no 'one-stop' resource that gave me all I needed to know. Then I realised that it could be useful to document that for EVERYWHERE! At some point I'll put it all into a written guide I think... once I've covered the UK 😁 As for UA-cam... it keeps growing by the day, slowly but surely! I'm encouraged by the idea that things that build over time are usually stronger and more robust... things that grow quickly, go as quickly as they came... either way, I'm going to keep uploading, keep improving and try to give out as much useful information in as an entertaining way as possible! Stoked you're here for the journey! 🙌

Maybe sign up to Rumble and Odysee.... they are up and coming platforms and i think will do well too ! Best to get in quick and build these places too in parallel to your UA-cam Channel ! My feeling is that there are few real buskers on UA-cam and that could be the explanation for your lower pick up numbers ! Anyhoooz your channel and infos rock and it will definately bring many and varied fruits to your table im sure of that ! Have a good one today Brother !

I regularly busk in Maidstone and it was really interesting to see this. I definitely agree it can be a bit inconsistent, and on that main road with the shops, it is nicest nearer the square. You get less youngsters (and perhaps dodgy looking people) near that square by the entrance to Fremlin Walk where the shops are a bit more expensive. As you move to the other end of that road (not the end of your first spot), it becomes a bit rougher again, perhaps as it's near Brenchley Garden which unfortunately has a stereotype of being a bit druggy. I also find that the number of other buskers can be really hit and miss. From what I've seen, buskers tend to arrive for around 11 and be gone by 2-ish. That's just my experience. Well unless you didn't make that ticket 😅 I often had only had enough for the train ticket and I would go and try my best to at least make my way home. That was the time I was really in tune and I really had faith in my skill. I'm struggling right now

Not sure the roughly hour rate yiu earn , but had a friend who used to earn between 10-15 pounds in maidatone ten years ago
