Sounds like Haydn may have borrowed from Mozart's Haffner symphony which was composed in 1782 and Haydn's piece in 1786. Anyway, great work by a great master!
Unlikely; Mozart was borrowing ideas all the time, Haydn almost never.

Mio Dio NON (mi abbandonare) Questo grido non contiene la parola " perché ?", ed è logico poiché il Christo sapeva benissimo perché era in croce, ma "non mi abbandonare" voleva forse dire: dammi la forza di soffrire fino alla fine, sostienimi nella mia agonia...
