Listening to him saying that he was afraid to go to sleep, because he didnt know whether he would wake up, is almost terryfying, given the way he passed! Such a shame, he had so much to offer! Huge loss, he will be always remembered!
When he said he was afraid to go to sleep because he wasn't sure if he'd wake up or not, it just hurt. Like damn is this unfair. But yes, he'll live on forever through his influence. Re-watch forever.
@@thelordfosk I literally just watched this part of his video. John was such an incredible human being. He gave so much to all of us, and went out of his way to help answer as many of our questions as he could. I had trouble sleeping when I heard he passed. I always think of him when I look at how my back improved from his barbell rows and side delt partials helped my shoulders. And so on and so on. And not even the workouts, but the way he was like a father to a lot of young men who never had a great role model. I’m thankful for my own dad, and my prayers go out to his family. Rest In Peace, John and he lives on in our hearts forever!
Missed the Q and A but going to listen to the rest now just wanted you to know I'm here and always sending the support you know your one of my fav people because of the honest genuine old school gentlemen you are. Glad your health is better.sending support and that is for all you do

Great news on the health update. Definitely a good move to get at least one other look from another specialist. Also good to hear how well your son's football team is doing. Have fun!!
Another great video, thanks for the updates!! You look 5 years younger in this video, probably from sleeping better after the good news. So glad you're doing well!!
Very glad to hear about the vitamin d. Made me go study and find out I’m not close to daily dose in the fall and winter. I always feel extremely tired this time of year not being in the sun. And multivitamins lie cuz they say 100% dose is not close to the amount I found I need. Thanks for all the q answering
Great to hear the good news on your health John, stay positive. Also thanks for the awesome content again, your supplements are really hard to get (and super expensive) in Australia, wish that was different.
I always enjoy the Q&A John! Most of the time I'm watching it post and not live,, but I find the questions and the answers you provide fascinating. John, I do have a question, and I'm wondering if you can provide a little feedback if from someone you've worked with or your own experience: what signs or symptoms generally accompany someone that is dealing with low testosterone? I'm 53, and I have absolutely no indication that there is a need to replace/increase with tes. It may be due to my diet, genetics, I'm really not sure, but I hear so many young men especially choosing to do so. My energy in all areas is through the roof, so I'm just curious about your thoughts on this... Thank you so much for the good report on your recent heart condition and info. So glad you are sleeping well, cause you well know how important that is to overall health.
Appreciate the videos as always would like to know more about the football team huge football fan! Potential video with the coach from the California team would be awesome!

Sorry I’m a little late here but I do have a question… I am 46 and training for masters powerlifting competitions and desire to do this for as long as I possibly can, but I am prone and sensitive to bicep tendinitis and shoulder rotator cuff pain. So when I train I never touch the chest and I’m completely fine the second I touch the chest then I get major issues sometimes weeks or even months long. How do you train for competitive bench and powerlifting when touching the chest can be a major issue?
If someone was around 200 pounds @ 6'2" pretty ripped but not very much muscle size on them around 16%, 17% body fat stopped working out during the corona lockdown gained about 60 lb.what should be the plan for getting back in shape? Would dieting down but eating clean healthy food like chicken steak potatoes and rice etc allow them to lose fat and hang on to as much muscle as possible?
Regarding the “tough crowd” and negative comments. You can be guaranteed that viewers who compare you with other bodybuilders have body issues of their own. Comparisons come from insecurity. People just need to learn how to celebrate the achievements and progress of others.
Still late but I have a question that maybe anyone can try and answer. Often when I do a large gym session of weights like legs, I go home have a post workout protein shake and add carb powder. 25 grams of carbs and 25 grams of protein. Then shortly after I eat over 10onces of chicken, noodles and a larger portion of veggies. The issue I'm having is like 30 minutes to an hour later im starving again. Anyway I can help avoid that? Hopefully this makes sense.
Hey John, Im a beginner lifter and i was wondering if you recommend me doing your "Mountain Dog Training (build your own workout)" push pull legs split. I've seen a lot of your videos and you say that beginners shouldn't train till failure but i just feel like I don't get a pump and I don't get sore the next day if I don't train some sets till failure. Your Feedback would be really appreciated. Thanks And if i shouldn't do your "Mountain Dog Training (build your own workout)" what should i do?
If you are a beginner like you say then I’d recommend that you get a good feel for the gym before doing a program. Master the basic exercises first and then I’d recommend you try johns ‘Baby groot’ program it’s excellent
