- In this video I change the headlight on my Q50. Video is shot on my phone with one hand so please bear with some of the angles.
I also added the Diode Dynamics Always on Module, and an illuminated Infiniti Emblem. watch and see how it turns out.

For the last bolt under the headlight. Instead of removing the crash bar, just loosen and spin what is in front of it👍
hopefully i never have to do it again and that this tip helps someone else

Got damn that’s too much. Why did manufactures make it almost impossible to change the HID bulbs?!? In certain regular cars the process is super easy.
You mean back in the day when we could just change out $30 bulb? Good times
@@ceo4eva yeah, it was super easy and only took 5 minutes per bulb max.
Is mandatory to remove the battery?
The Q50 headlight design is really terrible and stupid. The manufacturer makes it difficult for us to replace the headlight.
Ur video was pointless only showed how to take it off not put it on 💀
You shouldn't work on a car if you can't put it back after a clear video of how to take it off.

So is there a big price diff with your headlights and one without the adaptive steering? A bird hit me today and need a new headlight.the main quistion is how many types of headlight assembly are there, just the 2?
Yes there are 2 types, on ebay (where I got mine) it will say AFS or non afs in the description. The price is also a huge indicator as it can be about $300 cheaper
@@ceo4eva yea iv learned a few things in the past 30 min lol. I already ordered my headlight from rock auto. Q50s have led lights right? The dealership said i had zenon but some friends of mine say no its led. Thanks for your help.
@@DG-888 np, should be LED standard. That's why 1 bulb going out means a complete replacement :(
@@ceo4eva do i need to disconnect the battery before i replace my headlight? Will that lock out the stereo like back in the day? Lol
@@DG-888 I recommend to remove the battery when working on this and no stereo lockout on this one
How'd you hook that LED emblem up?
i had to splice it into the headlight for power so it comes on when my lights turn on. Its been a while so i cant remember exactly but im sure there are videos online that can help

Hi guys. I have adaptive head light. Broke only outside mirror. If i buy non adaptive head light and only change mirror ..it's possible?? Please help guys 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I believe the glass is the same and should fit just fine, just don't spend 2 much money for a non AFS

Infiniti’s are beyond garbage of a car sisters 2015 Q50 blew transmission. At 105k miles radiator at 115k miles
Shakes, headlight burnt out etc.
