- Okay okay, they are not fully vegan but they definitely have a lot of vegan sweet bread options that are authentic and amazing. Going against their Father’s orders, the Master Baker, these sisters started veganizing traditional pan dulce from El Salvador, Mexico, and Guatemala for the Pico-Union community that's right next to Downtown Los Angeles. Beyond the sweets, you can find vegan Salvadorian crema, Mexican mock meats, veganized authentic Salvi breakfast, batidos aka smoothies, Latin American frozen fruits, and tamales! And beyond their shop in Pico-Union, you can find them throughout Los Angeles in their new mobile bakery. Bring the Munchies!

I loved the video and cried of envy because I'm not there. I live in Chicago and don't know where to find vegan sweet bread 🥺. I'm a Mexican who misses his Mexican food. Now that I'm vegan is really hard to find where I live.
Super appreciate you. Hopefully some pan dulce gets your way in Chicago. We were just there a few months ago and found a lot of good pizza and wings (classic Chi). Maybe next time we go, we'll bring some pan dulce for a meet up.
