Everything was cool, and I was beginning to think the guy was ok. I was always curious about the Catholic Church using the term father instead of pastor or whatever, since as I read it, the Bible says call NO man father.
Then, here comes “we’re open to everyone.” I can see not kicking someone out the door because they’re gay, if they’re there to hear the legitimate true Word of the one true God. But, the pastor or Tim, Tom, whatever his name was is also gay, and he thinks he’s properly interpreting the Bible? I don’t think so.
It’s not a misinterpretation, or a different translation. It’s believing the parts that don’t interfere with your lifestyle.
I don’t always agree with Jesse, but I’m right with him on this one.
If God’s cool with this lifestyle, what was the deal with Sodom and Gomorrah? I’m pretty sure at least part of evil they were into had to do with homosexuality. Remember when the angels were at Lot’s house and the guys came around demanding he send them out so they could do their thing with them?
These things come to mind.

Not to mention teachers will be held to a higher standard than the congregation. I would not want to be in the position of explaining to God how He was wrong about the whole gay thing.
He doesn’t need to worry about my opinion or your opinion, but when you get in front of people who are (hopefully) seeking the truth of the one true God, and they are deliberately misled. This guy has to know he’s not preaching the Word of God. He seemed like a believer at first, but I should have known. If he’s on with Jesse, there’s something going on that needs to see some sunlight.
A person who deliberately not only alters the Word to make himself feel like he’s being a good Christian, but then knowingly teaches error to others who seek the truth. I’m sorry if I repeat myself but I’m stunned by the audacity of people like this. You can fool other people, but nothing gets past God. If you truly believe in God, and you’re not afraid of someone who can divide the spirit from the soul, which I don’t fully understand, but want absolutely no part of. I’m going to pray for him. Otherwise, I hope he likes really warm places with the strong smell of sulfur - eternally.

They way the Catholic Church has been going throughout history, one of these days, there will be an openly gay Pope living openly with his husband and two transgender children. Just wait. I feel compelled to read this and reply. You need to forgive your brother and submit to him Christ, considering what he has to say. But he did not leave his wife because of uncleanness of lust, but because unsatisfied trying to fulfill the marriage covenant. How is that you will not hear him in humility. It is my prayer that you understand his actual intentions so that can reason with him and appeal to conscience, when knowing he told you his reasons and how you have offended him. Despite the fact he has indeed transgressed against his wife and God.

In fact Romans 1 & 8 explains it well and pretty much damns them to hell. There’s many places in the Bible that Jesus mentions people going to hell. Although he talks of love in the heart (not in the sexual mode) He actually talks about hell more than any other person in the Bible.

It's Paul and it differs to Jesus Christs teachings perhaps. For example Jesus Christ quotes Leviticus on an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth. Why would Jesus Christ comment on this violent concept? It's because Jesus Christ then says? To agree with it? To slightly change it? To completely change it? Jesus Christ suggest you turn the other cheek. The comment on gays getting killed in Leviticus. It's true that Jesus Christ about parts of the old testament in a positive way. The first two commandments for example. There is only one god and love thy Neighbour. The second commandment is like the first. Paul is much more like the old testament then Jesus Christ perhaps. John 1 4:20 is more like Christs concepts. I could be mistaken though these are interesting differences.

Show me in the Bible where it says Jesus was asexual? In fact show me in the Bible where anyone of the disciples had sexual relations with anyone? I can show you where it says that a woman should NOT wear any apparel related to a man and that a man shouldn't wear any garments that is related to a woman in Deuteronomy 22:5, where it also states it is an abomination for any man or woman to do such things. It is also an abomination for a man to sleep with another man in a sexual relationship in Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27 and in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, where in that verse it states you will NOT inherent the Kingdom of GOD for such wicked and abominable acts. Also, where in the Bible does it state anything about " same sex loving relationships" ? Is that just made up by man who are homosexuals, because it's not in the Bible at all. In fact, to the contrary; any sexual acts committed outside of marriage between a man and a woman, is considered fornication, adultery, homosexuality and beastiality.
How can any of them call themselves Christians who are willfully sinning against GOD and His ordinance and claimed to be a Christian when they have not Repented of their sins in homosexuality? Jesus first sermon to the people was to REPENT for the Kingdom of GOD is at hand.- Matthew 4:17. That verse is expressing that all mankind have sinned in one form or another many times and in order for us to be joined with Christ we must Repent of all our sinful nature, including sexual sins, which, are no exception. In order to obtain Salvation through Jesus Christ and become His true followers, we must confess our sins unto the Father and believe on in His Son Jesus the Christ. Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9-10. You can not become a Christian and continue on in your sinful nature and acts. It is NOT done.- Romans 6: 1-11.c
