Happy French Friday to you! I’m excited about taking you along with me to the Cider Barn Brocante today!! This is a fabulous brocante!!!
The most lovely couple (the owners) who I met are from England and moved to France. They love it here in France and haven’t looked back. Their only regret was not moving to France sooner.🇫🇷

That was lovely looking at the brocante .It reminded me of our antique shop we had here in Florida ,we sold lots of different antiques and vintage as well as outdoor furniture and concrete statuary ,I had a feeling the owners would be English .

I was surprised to see English written on the tags & parking place sign. Love the barn, beautiful furniture & other items. Such fun!
I explained that towards the end of the video. I guess I should’ve shared that in the beginning, but the couple are from England and that’s why it’s all in English. They also get a lot of English clients as well as fluent English speakers.🥰

I am now a fan of The Cider Barn, I only wish they'd list some plate racks for sale....I know the shipping would be high though.
That Brocante is so nice and fun. Most of the ones I see on the street have been boring to me, no one ever gets anything really cool.

Thank you! It’s actually a combination of different music that I put together. The video was quite long, and so I think I had to use like eleven different songs. I only have certain songs I can choose from because of copyright issues. Thanks for watching!🥰

Hi, most brocantes don't have price tags at all, but as I'm English and the majority of clients who visit are American, Australian, from UK or speak English fluently like the Dutch, labels in English are definitely the way to go! I am learning all the time and I'm very happy to be living and working in such a beautiful country.

Hi! I’m so confused, I thought you lived in the US! 😂 When did you relocate to France?
We live in California but we bought a place in France. We bought a live/work situation in a village in France. We work on projects every trip we make to France. We try to squeeze in some sightseeing too. We are just going back and forth for now and using it as a second home. I’ll eventually have a store on the main level when it is finished. I explain that in my intro video.🤗

Thanks! It’s higher priced than thrift stores in France, and maybe some brocantes too. But I don’t mind paying more for better quality & antique pieces. Her place has beautiful curated treasures.⚜️🤍🐑
Surprised I didn't see more copper.
There is a small amount of copper in the brocante, but to the north of us in villedieu les poeles there are many specialist copper stores.
