The copper plate is made after the painting by Jean-François Millet: the gleaners.... in French 'des glaneuses'

Ladies in wheat field is based on painting by Millet titled “Gleaners”

I can see why you love the brown crocks with handles... adorable. You've propably have already thought of this, but the copper women plaque... place it in the center of a whispy wheat wreath or lavender wreath. Reminds me of the scripture where the women would go to the fields after harvest and gather what was left on the ground. Enjoyed all your finds!!!

Thank you Pamela! Yes, I did think about that afterwards. Great minds think alike. It does remind me of the scripture too. 🌾🫶🤗

Where did your love of French things come from? Do you speak french?

I’m just what people call a “francofile” a love for all things French! Lol! 😂 I love the architecture, food, French countryside, brocantes etc.
I do speak some very basic French, but I’m currently working on my French to learn more about the language. I want to be fluent in French. I will continue to study the language. I find it quite difficult but I’m determined to learn it!🥰❤️🇫🇷
