theses kids are amazingly strong! as a person with chronic health conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, tethered cord, chairi malformation, scoliosis, POTS, ASD, sensory processing disorder, a lot more. but I get so depressed with my situations at some points theses kids encourage me to live on. if they can get through their situation I can too.!! thanks for sharing this! through all the surgeries, treatments, etc I've been through too.
When the parent has to leave their child in the operating room, they are so distressed and crying. That's tough. When you get a nurse that always walks them out and comforts them they are dedicated.
Why isn't the surgeon wearing a mask ?? That's breaking the sterile field...that's scary omg .....what if he coughs during the surgery..omg wow I'm A RN and I'm horrified
Oh, dear! I'm so clucky!!!! Such beautiful children- mine are now teenagers and both taller than me but they're still my babies, even though the eldest starts university this week!
Isn't it strange how every time an infant enters an operating theatre they immediately start crying. It's almost as if they know something. I have noticed it other times also
Steve Gibson well i mean, its quite daunting being brought into a room by one of your parents and getting surrounded by scary people in masks and gowns with machines etc.
I got exactly the same thing as Callum, a buckle fracture. I didn't make a fuss, but it got swollen and red, and it was really painful when I lifted it up. I didn't even get a cast.. I just got a support. It's one of the most minor fractures though.
Are plaster casts common over there, or specific to that hospital? Cause in North America plaster casts are hardly used, its all about fiberglass (which looks and functions better IMO) these days.
the hospital where I live is awful , I went to the hospital once because my teachers thought the scare from a pervious operation was infected so I went to the hospital near a local park and they said "that Looks fine" but when I looked at it , it did look infected because it had little yellow bits , anyway they just sent me home and not caring at all
The baby's immediate smile of relief at 13:10 must be what gives motivation to these healthcare professionals to keep doing what they do.
Dolly's little outfit before surgery was soo cute!
