How come so many good rockers are from Canada? Man, this version of this song is epic, man.
Because of our cold weather
This version is epically bangin!
Ian Thornley is amazing at everything he touches. Such an under rated band
The Jerk one of the best live bands I have ever seen. They should be playing stadiums
@@codygittins4652 Here's the thing though, and I say this as someone's who's opened for them over 20 years ago and seen them live and something Thornley's copped to when asked why he turned down Slash to join Velvet Revolver: He's really not a 'performer' as much as a player. I love the band but if you're honest: Not much 'show' to see.
For sure , good stuff
Totally agree. Canada has no idea what a talent he is.
They gave that song muscles
I don't think so... no drop D
That’s my old drummer! Chuck Keeping (time) He played in my house band at my blues club in London Ont - the Other Side of Five!
Used to take him out for “employee” priced steak and lobster dinners at the Keg, when he was a poor, recent arrival from the east coast.
Good time memories of the 90’s Canadian music scene! He went on to Big Wreck and I went on to manage the Bill Durst Band.
Wow, so many years ago now.
Cheers Ian, Chuck and Big Wreck!
From Rowan and Kim
Cool story bro.
im from london where was this blues club?
@@mikec81 “the Other Side of Five” beside 5 Star Billiards, in the same building, 2nd flr. Kitty corner to the Greyhound station. York and Talbot NE corner.
I just saw this band in London, so funny, amazing band!
One of the best covers I've ever heard!
this cover kicks serious ass! bravo!
Definitely release this as a single
Not sure how it took me 6 years to find this! Q you need to start playing this song
One of my all time favorite songs. Great job!
Two words. Thank you.
The world loves you Ian (and your bros!) . We are few but we are legion. I hope we hit over 9000!
Hell yes! Fantastic cover of a really great tune. You gotta love Big Wreck!
I love Tears For Fears but I have say this is a damn good version. Thank you for doing this.
Two words... F#CKING EPIC!
warlock451 you said it.
These guys are so good it’s ridiculous
Possibly one of my favorite covers of all time !
It's my favorite cover on this composition. Great song!🔥👌👍
Good God, greatest cover ever.
I LOVE this! Great song, great cover! I agree, such an underrated band.
An old favorite playing an old favorite!!!
I can't believe how much I love this.
superbe ! la classe !! Géniale reprise des Tear For Fears !! Excellent !! Great Cover !! ...In my Compil ' !! :)
What a great cover of a great song!!!🎸🎸
God damn. That was awesome.
This is amazing, love it!
absolutely amazing. You guys rock
That rocks hard well done, this band is more than capable of putting out more crazy good music
Just simply great!
love this
Amazing. Definitely a thumbs up!
Way better than Disturb's version!
HAHAHAHHAH! Yup. And water's wet. Care to state anything else that's an obvious given? >;P
Disturb sucks.
@@rokkkrinn2793 i beg to differ
Espectacular !!!!
Now that's rock n roll!!
best cover of this song
great cover and damn I loved the end
great cover,great band.
Love it.
yay thanks for reupping!
AWESOME!
Ya Bang!!
Killer cover
Awesome!
Great song.
Can’t like this enough
wow awesome
oh my word. that was just spectacular. bgvs a bit high in the mix is my only comment. drench them in reverb so they feel more gangy and let Ian be on top.
Great!! I liked.
One of the most popular covered pop songs of the 80's. What does that tell you about Tears For Fears influences on today's musicians!
Tears for Fears are so underrated. Great cover but not as good as the original!
Очень круто звучит! Нуарно! Молодцы!
they could do a killer covers album.
dude you could have kept that last solo going for another couple of minutes.
Yes yes yes. .. Tears for Fears Song with Led Zeppelin Riff. .. Very Very very Wall of Sound' s. .. Great Band ... ☺😊😉/💙💙💙/👍👌👏
gotta find the rest of this session
I know you’ve probably found it by now, but they also played The Oaf, and that was the only other song they played in that session (personally I prefer the Suhr Factory Version)
Love the way you did it.....you gave it... meat!! What a voice!
I take one of each of those guitars. Please and thank you.
THIS
Wow! Wow! Amazing!
I heard this is the bonus track on the 7.2 CD. Is it this version, or a newly recorded version?
V.gooooood ..
fucking epic...!!!!!
Daaaaaaang!
Why wouldnt the one directing the video show the bass player during the solo, which was originally done by bass?
Nice.
There is much more energy in this song when old guy from Tear for Fears is singing it.
Good, bros!))
Killer.
Powah!
Anyone know what tuning this version is done in please ✌️
Muito boa a versão de Big Wreck !
Ass: Milharal banda H.I.V.
Hi, I am a student and I have no idea if you are going to reply but I was wondering if I can use this clip for a school project?
Are they outside? Cold breath
PAULO!!!
Balls.
Amazing, I really appreciated this, my only issue is that I think the vocals are really weak. But the mix, and the bass in particular are steller.
Yes sad bc Ian’s voice is so powerful... would love to hear this mix/mastered correctly
I got weak at the knees.
Or... Head over heels...
THUS SPAKE ZARATHUSTRA
Is it me or is the lead singer looks like Chris Cornell
Most people claim he sounds more than he looks like Cornell. 😁
😞
The fucking solo sounds so fucking mean
Anyone else want to see what these guys could do with The Chain by Fleetwood Mac? Need to find a good female duet partner though...Alannah Myles outta retirement maybe? lol
A good recording would be better...
ua-cam.com/video/Zw3atMnjTug/v-deo.html
This song needs to be played at roughly 100 bpm. They're playing it about 20 bpm too slow.
sound better on 1.25 speed
it's abit slow but what the heck. it's good. still prefer tffs version.
It was alot better when there was no internet. People would mind there own business and less fighting in the world I think 🤔 😕. That's why the government wants everyone to go on line so they know everything about people.
If people would worry about what they have to do and stop worrying about what other people have to do it would be so much better than to stick their nose in others business 😌 👌 lol.
Excellent! Better than the original!
Cod3Thr33 disagree big time, but this cover good.
The original had no balls. These guys knocked the gay right off this song.
@@Cod3Thr33 WTF are you talking about. The original was better.. nothing Gay about it
That's exactly what someone who likes gay music would say.
Solid. It would be good in a set, but not strong enough to be a single for you.
As much as I love BW, while musically speaking, this was good, the vocals fell short, imho. Ian’s vocals favour using a far wider range in any given song. That said, some originals just set the bar too high. 🤷🏼♂️
Y a bien un putain de bassiste quand même ?!... Pourquoi on le voit pas ?On l'sait qu'il y a trois grattes...
Great music, but I found vocal a bit disappointing :|
Love the instrumentation on this cover, but the vocal is just so weak and insipid.
Yes sad bc Ian’s voice is so powerful... would love to hear this mix/mastered correctly
His voice doesn't suit this song - sorry
Correction - THEIR voices
Love the dude .. But no.. This does not work!! Some things are a gift, some are a curse.
pop doing rock yes ,but this is rock doing pop shit ..and that is just WRONG!!! sorry thumb is going south -the horror the horror
+Chris Mathison nope , but then I don't go looking for 'covers' it will find me if it's that good I guess -Shout was teenybopper angst to begin with .-IMO
back at ya ,babe
But, Tears For Fears is an emo band...this is metal goes emo
Suchega Uber The correct term is New Wave.
Scratching this one because it's a "pop song" is about as ridiculous as it gets. First of all: pop music was actually pretty good in the 80's. At least, there was some good shit. Tears for Fears qualifies. Second of all, this version of the song sounds sooo good, you have to be a tasteless imbecile to ignore it.
+Suchega Uber .yeah mate but tffs still did it better. it's cool by this band though.
Yeah, I don't like this.
