WOW! Mind blown again!! I thought the layered name with clipart was amazing but you step it up with these acrylic personalized piggy banks!! OMG!! This year's birthday gifts that I make are gonna be so cool from both of these tutorials you have provided!! Thank you so much!! I'm signing up for Patreon right now!!
Can you help me with the Trick for letters like "A" "P" or anything with a hole in the center? I did the text to vector, then hit "add inner outline" but it isn't doing the middle of my "A". (I am using XCS) - can you give any tips for this?
Love it!!! Garrett Can use that to save up for a set of Bear trap pedals for his BMX bike or a new Powell Peralta deck Keep the projects and Videos coming Thank you!!!!!!🎉
LOL! My shins are still recovering from the bear traps I had in the 80s!!!! Yes, I ran over my last Powell deck with the forklift and I still need to replace it. Good Idea!!!
I love this! And your directions are very good. However, you skipped a step and I missed cutting a few pieces. Also, when I add the name and click combined and unite the name goes away and does not cut out. Can you help?
Great Idea! But you didnt cover how to remove monet when full.I wouldn't want to break mine if i purchased one. Maybe that's the intent?? Not sure. Otherwise great video!
You have shown me how slow I am. I want to do the trick with the clipart with the letter A, but the hole in the A causes me issues. Thank you for the video.
I have never cut acrylic before and I am trying to understand something that you did. I known that when cutting acrylic that you should invert your object but in watching your video nowhere in XCS did you tell it to invert. When you clicked the "Process" button it showed the un-inverted object however your video of the P2 cutting the acrylic showed the object as being inverted. What triggered it to be inverted?
While it would be fun to have a piggy bank with a cork or a little door, the traditional way of getting the money back is by smashing it with a hammer. No need for any fancy gadgets!
@@KimandGarrettmakeitI was wondering the same thing. It would make me so sad to smash one of these beautiful money banks! Now y’all have me thinking about how to make up an exit strategy for the money that doesn’t interfere with the design. 😂❤
In xTool Creative Space it's Minus the Object in Front (layers), in Lightburn it subtracts the second object you select from the first object you select.
NIce but it is a lot of work for 30-35. It would need to be at least $98 to be worth selling them. They are nice but I think it would be more personal.
I LOVE your content however, Garrett's arm swinging and pointing is distracting. Your personalities are great but the extra arm flinging is not necessary.😊
Garrett's arm swinging is his signature move! Love it or hate it, it's here to stay. But we'll try to find a balance so it's not too distracting for you!
Aw, it's a bummer that the "homeboy act" didn't impress you enough to subscribe. But hey, I'll keep doing my thing and maybe you'll change your mind one day! Thanks for giving my content a shot.
@@KimandGarrettmakeit interesting to visualise the type of homeboy He is hanging around with judging by your “homeboy act“ @traveller thank you for being an advocate for all homeboys around the world, and exposing these fake homeboys
I'm not sure your comment was a productive one. I mean really. Opinions and constructive criticism is welcome, but telling someone they should change who they are just for a subscriber? They are not hurting for subs or patrons. Nor is it hurting their brick and morter. Its ok not to like someones personality, but they have enough business with it so why change? So yeah.....take your Karen comments somewhere else
GARRRRRREEEEETTTTTT um, hi 👋 I was curious if you could teach me something.... you know those song lyrics in a shape posters?? sometimes it's a heart other time a guitar.... whateva how they do that?? These have been one of my best sellers one Christmas! After your video last week, I decided to add that front cover! Great minds think alike!
That's awesome to hear! I'm glad my video inspired you to make that addition. Great minds do think alike!
I love what you share with us on youtube-for free! And the things on Patreon-crazy generous!

Looks great guys! Thank you for sharing! What's the typical assembly time for one of these?
Paint was like 10 minutes and assemble maybe 10 minutes.
absolutely love this!
where do you find your acrylic?
You have shown me how slow I am. I want to do the trick with the clipart with the letter A, but the hole in the A causes me issues. Thank you for the video.
It would be nice to come up with a way to make these with a diode laser.

awesome videos
That’s awesome. Thanks guys
Love it!!
Glad you like it!
I’ve seen these with stands. Is it the width that keeps them standing. Btw I like your design better.
What can we substitute the acrylic for? For those that have an engraver that doesn’t cut acrylic.
We used Transparency Film in some shakers we made and I bet that is thick enough to work. Let me know if you try it! ~garrett
@@KimandGarrettmakeit Thank you so much for responding
I would try the flex materials from smokey hill laser supply.
@@patricialeinhauser6693 Thank you so much
Hii. I have a question. I have xtool s1. Would i be able to cut MDF wood? I know I can’t cut transparent acrylic. What is the alternate? 🫣

Has anyone does one of these without clear acrylic? I have a d1 pro, but I'd still like to try this.

what about the subtract front?
In xTool Creative Space it's Minus the Object in Front (layers), in Lightburn it subtracts the second object you select from the first object you select.
I've been selling these for $60 😁
How to get the money out?
I found the answer :) sorry
