It seems like this FSM would allow for any long sequence of buttons to work, as long as somewhere in it there was a 2 with a 3 later, a 1 later than that, and a 3 after that. For example, wouldn't 21313 work as well as 2313? Would it be better to return to Reset any time a wrong button was pressed?
Maybe, I think what should have been added is some sort of delete button that cleared the previous entry like when entering a credit card pin, that way you wouldn’t have to enter the whole sequence again after hitting the wrong button. Lots of room for improvement. Why dont you do the improvements yourself? I would love to see what other people create!
