I love how all the other 1000 year vampire guests have ended up on the run living off what they can carry on their back, but Lydia ends up controlling most of Europe 😂
Yeah, I'd say that Lewis somehow ended up doing better despite being a weird slug monster man who lived in the sewers. Lydie certainly wins the "most lavish life" lived so far 🤣
This inspired me so I bought the game and played with my wife. Her character fled from Jerulusem as a crusader and became a professional glass blower and inventor in Venice. She later used her skills to craft inventions of war, becoming leader of Italy and eventually starting a new "glass crusade" around the world in her name, as she was viewed as the God of Glass to many. Hilarious turn of events that we'll continue tonight!
Fuck yeah this is going to be good 2:17 off to a good start. Same energy as "there should be 43 can anyone count that high?". Also I kinda love that Lydia is making Lady Dimitrescu at first lol. And yes Tom, running was discovered in Renaissance (originally spelled Ran essence) by forgotten Italian inventor Vincenzo Sprint. The marathon used to be walked but was made more efficient with that discovery. Also Lydia basically making Logan's run for feeding lmao
I absolutely love every time Lydia in on the screen, she brings a certain charm and chaotic enthusiasms to the table that makes everything she's in such an adventure to watch.
@Нищ-т2ы my last Vampire saved the world from the clash between two primordial entities through the construction of a great structure of power. I never saw that end coming, and she was even reborn as a mortal at the end, to live out a proper life, as reward. My first vampire died a horrible death after murdering their way across the world unable to even try an ignore their hunger.
46:00 It could have been a good kind of general direction to go with a sort of "Robes Pierre and the French Revolution was a group of vampire hunters". Kind of like the good parts of Assassin Creed where the historical events are happening in the background, but the common knowledge justification is a story to cover up the Assassins vs. the Templars.
I love the different ways this can go and how each guest tells a completely different story. I feel like we get a real interesting look into their thought process.
Edit: Its seems to be back on the main channel! Best stream of the year! I hope the stream today wasnt a live only and not announced, I cant find it any where and I was only 30 minutes from the end. If its really being made private just for this channel I hope we get a full release, I would hate having to wait 3-4 weeks (depending on how it gets chopped up, potentially missing Christmas) to get the last few minutes of the game
Tom and Lydia are one of my favorite Duos. They just have such great connecting energy. I also really like Thousand be-year-old vampire Comma Which I honestly didn't think I would when I watched the first episode but now these are Really nice break in between The bigger group games. And I love how different and unique each one is. It's also very interesting when we get to the Future parts of the game because I never know if the vampire will be a victim of society moving on without them, or if Society will be a victim of the vampire. It's just really good.
Yay for Lydia! Also, have a Tom-style short story I randomly wrote one day inspired by all of this here shenanigans: Your ears are faintly ringing as you begin to regain a state vaguely resembling consciousness. You feel desperately weak and every inch of your body stings in agonizing pain. You want to open your eyes but the lids stay in place as heavy as lead blocks. And what is that biting and burnt rotten smell in the air? As you try calling for help, all you manage to mutter is a low gargling rumble. Suddenly, you can hear footsteps approaching you. Is there help near?! You gather all your strength to open your eyes hoping for someone to get you out of this hellish fever dream. The bright lights overhead are blinding you for a second but you quickly realise sturdy leather straps are keeping you tied to a cold steel table while a sinister bent figure in a tattered and torn lab coat is curiously inching closer to you. The man suddenly stops and bursts into a fit of maniacal laughter, finally yelling from the top of his lungs: 'IT'S ALIVE!!!' Are you the subject of a horrifically cruel experiment, or are you on a Mystery Quest?
Another excellent quest. This is such an entertaining channel with a genuinely credible host and cast. Thank you for providing roleplay games to watch for people like me who don't have the time or means to do it themselves anymore
OK, given how tragic, bittersweet, & desperately sad the previous 1000 Year Old Vampire stories have been on the channel so far, I fully expect Lydia to utterly ruin that track record with a psychotic manic escapade straight our of a Robert Rodriguez film
Yessss I’m was waiting for Lydia’s turn and it didn’t disappoint! 😂 Tom, I hope you’ll also do “So you met a thousand year old vampire” with their established characters when it comes out!
Here’s a question that I’m not sure has been directly posed to this channel: just WHY is Lydia so good at RP? She presents herself as an infirm old slag, but she has time and time again proven that she is absolutely hilarious and clever in every situation that is thrown at her. It doesn’t add up. Just some food for thought.
Someone said in another TYOV video that Tom should get all the characters and guests and have them play a Vampire-like Camarilla game. I do agree, however I'd rather see them in a "Call of Cthulhu"-like game, or even a super out-there Mörk Borg game.
I want to be friends with these two so badly. This was probably my favorite TYOV yet. And that's not to slight everyone else, I'm just a huge Lydia fan 😊
I've just come to the realisation that you can do this sort of game for any old genre as long as there are a lot of tropes within it. I'm a Fire Emblem fan and those games are full to the brim with similar story beats just done slightly differently or in different orders. I think I could definitely make a "Blue Haired Anime Prince" version of Thousand Year Old Vampire haha
I ran 7 of these as session 0s for an upcoming pathfinder campaign I am running. The core gimmick is that each of the PCs is a revived villain from the history of the setting, and this was to recount their lives before they were slain by whatever hero eventually defeated them. It worked great so far despite the fact they obviously weren't all bloodsucking vampires. One was an evil cultist who had to make routine sacrifices to their dark god, and the other was an alchemist who ran a crime ring in order to accumulate heaps of gold used to transmute an elixir of eternal youth. The PCs already have not just a fair amount of depth but also tons of plot hooks for me to use later in the campaign. I ran 4 induvial stories for a player each, two were run jointly together for a pair of sister PCs, and in order to introduce the idea to the entire party at once, I ran a single test vampire with input from all 6 players. That vampire will end up being the first arc antagonist.
King James in the plains in Spain, stays mainly in the rain. EDIT: I can't believe Lydia created the Doomsday Machine from "Doctor Strangelove!" Best vampire plotline, bar none.
this was the most cursed of the thousand year old vampire but I kind of loved it, I've run this a few times like this with friends and it usually goes a little loopy hahaha
Imagine if her reason for feeding was that she needs to keep replacing her organs because they just keep falling out 😅 Wouldnt get the living head coming back then though..
Um akchually, running was invented in 1207 by Brian Runn-but gaslighting (lying) wasn’t invented until the mid 1700’s (no one knows who came up with it, but you knew that already. I told you remember? You’re always forgetting things that I told you.)
Oh my god Tom please do a custom 40k version of this with Ben where he is born around 7000BCE and tries to become the emperor
I would love to see the pain in both of their eyes as they play a never-die
I love how all the other 1000 year vampire guests have ended up on the run living off what they can carry on their back, but Lydia ends up controlling most of Europe 😂
This aged poorly as she ended up with more than that even 🤣
Well, I wouldn’t like to argue with her mega-nuke! 😂
i mean, despite Lewis turning into a leech, he controlled the world till maybe the heat death of the universe?
Yeah, I'd say that Lewis somehow ended up doing better despite being a weird slug monster man who lived in the sewers. Lydie certainly wins the "most lavish life" lived so far 🤣

The text overlay is a nice touch
Tom "Shall we play a game?"
Lydia "Love too. How about Global Thermonuclear War" 😅
Great 1000 Y.O.V tale. Keep them coming
Had to halt my brain from screaming Hungary when she wanted a rival nation..
I particularly liked the MegaNuke aspect of this story. It was a beautiful metaphor and very symbolic
Ah yes, another giant vampire lady
That was forgotten so early on! -Now time to re-imagine after the story is finished.
Fuck yeah this is going to be good

1:21:13 The moment Lydia breaks Tom. Absolutely brilliant! 😂
Really enjoy these thousand year old vampire videos! Always so cool seeing how different they all end up
I absolutely love every time Lydia in on the screen, she brings a certain charm and chaotic enthusiasms to the table that makes everything she's in such an adventure to watch.
TYOV is my favourite Mystery Quest content, even though it's solo. Thanks so much for giving us more - Lydia's roleplaying was amazing!
This was so much fun, I love how different it was to the other play throughs. I’d love to someone else DM and Tom to be the vampire once 🥰
he needs to get hulmes in for an episode, then have hulmes dm the next for him!
This was an absolutely incredible run! I never expected a "good" ending out of this game
There are a few "good" endings in the book. My vampire Medoc ended up enlightened in the end.
@Нищ-т2ы my last Vampire saved the world from the clash between two primordial entities through the construction of a great structure of power.

Lydia is such a gem ❤
please do as many of these as you can. I would watch one with literally everyone cast member
I could have sworn I saw this on my home page yesterday.
Yeah, i watched it yesterday. Mustve been deleted and re-added for some reason.
@@oebgoibs probably because these are suppose to come out on Fridays lol
I know he had a community post a day or so ago about this video, but don’t think he actually posted it then
It was up for 1-2 hours then taken down. Glad I get the chance to finish it today lol.
@@swearimnotarobot3746This video was accidentally released yesterday for a few hours before being taken down

Once again, Lydia manages to avoid on-screen death. I think she’s still at 0 deaths, but I might’ve forgotten one.
Nope still on her deathless run
I don't think she made it out of alien in a way you'd call "living"
@@ivyartemis2431out of sight, out of mind 😅
Ah but the question is then does a death off screen count as a death to death count on runs ?
Nah movie/series rule of thumb if you dont see the character dying (s)he is not dead@@blazemindgaming666

I guess if they've stopped the intros every video we have to upvote the best tom intro!
It would be great to see Sully from nrb doing this, or do a multiplayer adventure with 500 year vamp
ENCARTA: MIND MAZE!!!
Holy cow, every now and again I think of that game and just assume it was a fever dream until someone else brings it up
Oh man, she's pretty much had the best run so far. I don't think anyone else has survived this game
Another excellent quest. This is such an entertaining channel with a genuinely credible host and cast. Thank you for providing roleplay games to watch for people like me who don't have the time or means to do it themselves anymore
These are always great. I'll always remember the first one with Tom with how that one ended.
OK, given how tragic, bittersweet, & desperately sad the previous 1000 Year Old Vampire stories have been on the channel so far, I fully expect Lydia to utterly ruin that track record with a psychotic manic escapade straight our of a Robert Rodriguez film
Wow, I was not prepared!

I love the chemistry between these two.
These are great fillers in between the series and great to have big Lyds on! Would love to see Ravs or Harry do one of these too.
Oh, of course Lydia of the undying characters is the only one who's vampire got the good ending
Lewis got a "good" one too as he ended up as a giant leech devouring the world.
"Don't lose your head!" - Big Lyds
Someone said in another TYOV video that Tom should get all the characters and guests and have them play a Vampire-like Camarilla game. I do agree, however I'd rather see them in a "Call of Cthulhu"-like game, or even a super out-there Mörk Borg game.
All do a Vampire the Masquerade playthrough as their characters lol
I want to be friends with these two so badly. This was probably my favorite TYOV yet. And that's not to slight everyone else, I'm just a huge Lydia fan 😊
23:04 this is the sort of roleplaying I love to see from Lydia. Like... where did that come from?
Love these, they aren't always as comedy filled as a full cast but the stories they make are all awesome :D. LYDIA!!!! Awesome job ALL!
Lydia killed it and got a fantastic ending! 😂

I love it! A hack's already been done for a Ghibli-style story of a young witch, and I'd love to see more

Actually you're wrong, I'm from the divergent timeline and things didn't happen in that order!!!
The first happy ending one of these has had haha
I've genuinely been hoping this was going to happen for months.
King James in the plains in Spain, stays mainly in the rain.
EDIT: I can't believe Lydia created the Doomsday Machine from "Doctor Strangelove!" Best vampire plotline, bar none.
Sometimes I stay up at night thinking about Tom's shirt and if the buttons actually meet at the bottom or not.
Really appreciated the text being edited in at the bottom ❤
this was the most cursed of the thousand year old vampire but I kind of loved it, I've run this a few times like this with friends and it usually goes a little loopy hahaha
cool future weapon that's *unspecified*! if it'd been some sort of mega nuke it would've been weird
More vampin! Absolutely loved this one, gonna have to go eat some jellybaby heads.
I hope you guys play the sequel coming early next year!
I would absolutely love to see Tom as the player in TYOV!
It's simple, I see a 1:44:38 Mystery Quest video, I click it.
So basically Lydia looks just like a great unclean one
And her vampire character does as well
The rise of the Camarilla. Neat.
Tom, Lydia, and this game? Going to go ahead and put a preemptive like on this.
8:20 I like that she's basically created a Toreador from VTM 🌹🩸
Yet again, lydia doesn't die. Her luck in these games are insane.
"It's a rehabilitation programme!" absolutely killed me. SO good🤣🤣
Of course Lydia is the first to have a "happy" ending.
Lydia is fantastic in everything
Love me some thousand year old vampire.
I didn't realise how much I needed this 😂
Yooo my favorite series returns
15:00 Oh man, I've been there: "wait, what even was that gesture I just did"
Lydia vampire pyramid scheme at the end omg 😂😂
11:15 she was disembowled, someone took her bowl
best one yet bro ong
Once again, a fantastic use of music and sound effects in this one - get that editor a snack!
I love those the most, MORE
Let's goooo I just got back into TYOV, what perfect timing to see more Yogs play it :)
Absolute cinema!
What shenanigans will Lydia be up to whilst being an immortal vampire
Realized I haven’t left my mandatory engagement farming comment on this one yet
I 👍 once a week on yt, it’s always mystery quest videos 😘
Gather all the Toms for the Tompocalypse!
#Tompocalypse
U never know he may watch this and writes to Lydia
Imagine if her reason for feeding was that she needs to keep replacing her organs because they just keep falling out 😅 Wouldnt get the living head coming back then though..
I'm here for the encarta references
I always thought the rule of Fredrick and Angelica were underrated parts of Transylvanian history
Big Lyds the Vampire!
Wow, this was wild!
This was a real vampire hunter D story line
Great stuff
Lydia only has to role-play the vampire half of the game.
Awww you think she's a Queen. That's so sweet
Now THIS IS HOW HOLLYWOOD NEEDS TO WRITE MOVIE SCRIPTS
Really funny how the end is a very literal metaphor for capitalism 🤣
Amazing

Now I have to find where I got to yesterday
I was watching IMPORTANT VIDEOS!!! and then this thing comes on! You fools!
Jesus christ encarta mind maze was a slap in the face
So good :)
14 minutes in and lydia's story doesn't pass the bechdel test lol
I love that DM screen! Does anybody know if I can somehow get it for myself as well? I really like the artstyle and the colours!
Too bad I couldn't have watched this yesterday when it popped up into my feed
The easiest way of doing the timezone history stuff is with a calculator and Wikipedias year index
Can't wait!!!
