If it was just one place they could visit I think Tankfest hosted by the Bovington Tank Museum would be the holy grail of armoured vehicle fans. But this is probably the best place in the Southern Hemisphere.

I need to go to QLD and visit AusArmour. I grew up on a US Army “Proving Ground” and had a museum to myself (or so it felt like that for a decade). I would love to take a wonderlust trip … armor, V8 SuperCars, AFL … calling Qantas now.
