You’re so very right our health is very, very important!! Your health is your wealth! In total I have now been unable to work for 24 years and counting… It sucks that I can’t work as I used to love to work, true story! So please take care of yourself out there!!

Great video dude. It has been cold and it's always cool to see what animals will do in order to stay warm.
I think my favourite thing you do is when you give the sheep little head scratches, it makes me smile every time.
When you say you can introduce new breeds into your flock, would that be all through AI? Or would you introduce new breed ewes into the flock?

I like your videos I raise mostly polypay/suffolk down in Minnesota. We definitely have the whole hodgepodge thing going on most of the ewes are straight poly pay but some are crossed with the suffolk and as a result we have one or two that are bigger than our suffolk ram. I like to joke that I'm going to need to get him a stepladder. Stay warm and God bless

hey there im thinking about getting sheep we used to have about 50 boar goats mixed with a little dairy.but way to stubborn... I was wondering if you were able to share the total cost to grow a lamb to market weight. thanks

If your Rideaus are having less then 4 lambs they are bottom end Rideau. A Rideau with twins is a cull as it's maternal quality is too low for the breed. Why do you lamb in winter? So much easier for all involved to lamb in May. Lamb prices are typically higher in Fall than summer. Saves on feed costs if you have pasture, etc.
