Thanks for the full fridge test. I was shocked that hardly no one had talked about full size fridge test in their reviews, but that was a main question I had. Great review
I got my eb70s and able to run our tall freezer. But sometimes give me Overload message when the compressor turns on. God knows why because the max wattage is 450w-ish. So I can' t leave it there. Maybe good for emergency. Weird because I managed to run a hairdryer with it on1200w. Mine is UK model.
Awesome review. That Bluetti rocks! A friend has that same one. During power outages he prolongs the coolness of his full size home refrigerator by not opening it during the first 5 hours. After that he connects the Bluetti to power up the fridge for two hours then disconnects the Bluetti, waits another 5 hours, and keeps repeating this procedure so he can keep it cold, and at the same time extend the Bluetti’s inverter performance.
That's impressive how the numbers match. The Bluetti has a battery of 716 Wh and the inverter is known to have an efficiency of about 75%. That gives about 537Wh (716 x 0.75) available on the AC output. The fridge is rated at 478kWh/year, ÷ 365 = 1.309 kWh/day (or 1309Wh/day) 537Wh / 1309Wh = 0.410 day, x 24h = 9.85h Great Review!
Excellent review! I tested my EB70S with a 45w 12 volt refrigerator (30 Qt F40C4TMP); the final numbers just as the low battery symbol came on: 21 hours; internal temperature per refrigerator display was 34 degrees, internal temperature per infrared thermometer gun was 28 degrees. Interestingly, it showed no bars for the last several hours but continued powering the refrigerator with no loss of temperature. I am extremely impressed!
Thank-you SO much for doing this! Other YTubers act like boys-with-toys which I find immensely irritating. I don’t have a lot of money and I need the things I buy to earn their keep. I have a FRiDGE FREEZER. When the grid goes down I don’t care about the TV, blowtorch or even my washing machine. I wanna know that my frozen food will be okay to feed my family. If I get 10hrs fridge life before I need to recharge it from the car battery that’s fine with me. WELL DONE! I’m English🇬🇧 - SO proud this is a British product.
Thank you for the full fridge test! I would also be interested to see a test of several sizes of chest freezers with the EB70s (if it can run them). FYI, in case it's helpful to anyone: I found that an EB70s starting at 100% charge can run a CPAP at 11.5 lb pressure, plus a 12-inch table fan on low speed, for slightly over 8 hours. The fan was started a few minutes before the CPAP, and the CPAP ran for 8 hrs 1 min before the EB70s ran out of juice. So the EB70s can get you through a warm night with a CPAP.
I learned just now, watching this video that I’m getting ripped off by my fridge bouncing from 375watts to 95 watts back & forward…….🤔 No wonder I can’t lowered my electric bill 💸 even with everything off ! Excellent video. Thank you so much. I don’t know why you brought the little man with the lawnmower in at the end but I find it hilarious and perhaps that’s why you did it 😀.
Good review. Pass through charging is hard on this type of battery. Manufacturers new releases will replace that function with a true UPS capability to provide a better feature and cut down on warranty issues associated with pass through charging. Again, it is adverse to this type of battery and you will not get 2500 charge cycles to 80 percent if you leave it always connected to another device. I own this model too. I will not buy another unit with this type of battery if it does not have a UPS function as they are made to stay connected if the owner so elects. Some people learn the hard way too as if you plan to use only when power goes out you best make sure to turn it off after charging as otherwise it will be dead. Thanks for posting.
Good to see one that actually lasts. My EB70S quit working after a 400 watt load. Would not even think about plugging a refrigerator into it. It was one day old.

That's my only gripe about Bluetti, the display. Ditch the percentage bars and show actual percentage plus time until full/empty would be a welcomed improvement.
Right, plus many of Bluetti screens on models b4 these newest ones are totally unreadable in any sunlight at all. I hear their improving alot of this tpstuff but we'll see.
@@LarryDickman1 I believe their newest model displays with the exact percentage of battery remaining. I think they are hearing the screams about the bar display.

I have 2 smaller ones, thinking about ordering one of these. I am in the Philippines and this is the land of man made disasters, brownouts/blackouts like 2 time per week 24/7
If you take the 478 kWh/year or 478000 w/year and divide by 52 weeks then by 7 days you get 1.313 kWh/day which is 1313 wh/day. If you take the Bluetti’s 716 wh and divide it by that 1313 you get about .54 days which is about 13 hrs. Multiply that by .8 because most battery’s are 80ish percent efficient and you get about 10hrs and 20 minutes.
Refrigerator is a simple calculation if you know your energy Star annual kWh you can estimate your watts per hour. My large side by side Frigidaire is rated at 620 kWh annual. Then 620 kWh/ 365 days = 1.7 kWh per day x 1000 watts = 1700 watts per day / 24 hours = 71 watts per hour (or 1.18 watts per minute). In a metered test for 102 minutes .13 kWh used. To convert kWh to watts = .13 * 1000= 130 watts used. Watts/minutes = WPM, so 130/102= 1.27 per minute, or 76.5 watts per hour. So it is a bit higher than the Energy Star rating but I am happy with it. Here’s the thing, I lost power for 2 1/2 days after hurricane IRMA, and had no backup power. I did not lose anything in the fridge/freezer. I had frozen water in 4 large 1/2 gallon bottles. Plus we had ice in a bag. Kept 3 in freezer and moved one to top of fridge and kept everything cold. Rotated another out of freezer at beginning of 3rd day. We seldom opened the doors. New fridge’s are highly insulated. This made me realize it is possible cycle the fridge on and off in an outage, say on 4 hours/off 4 hours and reduce power consumption by 50 per cent, and not lose much temperature. This is important as you can only charge your solar during the day. I plan to test this theory. Thanks for the video!
Itd be an interesting Fridge Test if you hooked up the Solar panel with Pass through charging to see how long you can run the fridge while charging the battery with the sun.
Thank you sooo much for your review. I am a newbie when it comes to solar generators & have been researching this Bluetti in case of power outages. The fridge review especially grabbed my attention. Thank you again.
@@TechMadeEzy Thanks for the videos. YOU are the best. I have one question. From the three version off blujeti what you can recommend me to buy Eb3a Eb55 Eb70s Thank you again
1st Thank you They are different and have different benefits, this new model EB3A is powerful and the battery will outlast the other models but the battery capacity won't last as long especially compared to the EB70.
Herb 1st congrats, it’s definitely nice to have an option during a power outage or maybe a day on the road with family. Definitely don’t let this sit around fully charged for long periods of time. If you know you’re not going to use it for weeks etc I recommend leaving the battery 50% charged. A good battery tip is to never leave this at 0% or at 100% for long periods of time. 50% is good and definitely get yourself a solar panel because that’s a way to charge it for free
I think I made the right choice by choosing the bluetti over the one that charges way fast ecoflow. If you keep charging it super fast it will not last as money cycles and to begin with it's not as good of a battery in the ecoflow river or Pro or any of them from ecoflow. I hope I made the right choice. There are going to be solid state batteries that are even better but that's way in the future
My ecotric hammer e-bike has that kind of display and it could be down to one and then it's dead. I don't like the display on this but I bought it the eb55 because of the batteries in it cuz that's what it is a battery lithium-ion phosphate lasts way longer
EcoFlow's Delta line uses Lifepo4 batteries, and the 600 watt charging feature (vs. Bluetti's under 200) is a huge plus. Think running a generator for 1.5 hours vs. 4.5. Huge plus, even with some battery life loss. And with EcoFlow you can always choose to charge slower if circumstances allow. No choice but slow with Bluetti. Battery life difference may be moot anyway, as technology will probably change before either wear out. For me, another plus for lithium ion is the much lighter battery weight.
Bluetti also has those batteries lithium-iron phosphorus but it doesn't have the display and I also noticed the other one has a detachable bottom one of them does. Does that one charge faster on solar charging or just plugged in
Looks as if you only have one charging port? I was looking to buy a unit that you could connect to a wall socket but also charge via the solar panel on the roof. ie sunny day, free power for the fridge and freezer but the wall-power kicks in at night without having to keep plugging and unplugging different charging methods....Great review anyway Sir
2500 cycles vs 500-800 with the competition. Yes takes longer to charge but you get almost a lifetime full capacity with that one. Thanks I’m still undecided in between this one and eco flow.
Wish the EcoFlow River Pro were LifePo4, as in almost every other way it's superior to this Bluetti. I'm undecided too, but leaning toward EcoFlow. Dislike Bluetti's fan operation and noise and limited charging ability.
Could one of these power an off-grid backyard office for a day? I’m thinking a light, a computer, a monitor, a smart speaker, a wireless access point, and maybe some phone charging. Would there be something larger that could do a heater or window AC?
Conner yes, Bluetti and EcoFlow make larger units that have larger batteries for longer run time and more powerful inverters to handle higher wattage. I would recommend the Delta Max if you have the budget, especially if it's for business maybe you can write it off on taxes. The delta max is also expandable, here is a link to the EcoFlow website take a look and let me k ow of you have questions bit.ly/3Km5kIS
How many AC volts does your unit provide? The manual says 120 VAC, but please measure with a meter and let us know, if you haven't already. You mentioned that it provided 100 to 120 VAC, which is printed right on the front of the unit. I'm trying to figure out why my Bluetti is underperforming. Try plugging in an inexpensive window box fan - - typically about 50W, and see if it runs full speed. Again, please let us know, especially if you can provide data. Thanks.
Interesting video. I have a 20cuft refrigerator-freezer that's 2 years old. The label says 6.5 Full Load Amp. Does that mean the surge or the running amps? In either case, that's about 780 watts. Am I calculating that correctly?
I wish I could confirm, but I’m really not that technical, I recommend you get one of these. It’ll actually tell you the wattage, but you can also use it to tell you how much power your refrigerator uses over a period of time. amzn.to/3WEZIzN
thank you. so you talked about the must have passthrough charger but not why. I'm a Luddite so dose the battery then get used to charge the Bluetti if no other power is available? thanks
The ECO FLOW River2 Pro is about $550. more than the EB70S BUT it charges much faster and does have a phone app for better control and upgrades. HOWSOMEVER... the River2 Pro can NOT be paired with a supplemental battery!! Very bad.
I thought I remembered seeing a video that stated you could charge this unit from 2 sources at the same time for quicker charging …. Like AC and the cigarette lighter adapter or a solar panel…. am I wrong? Did you miss discussing this aspect in your video? TIA
Thanks for the review. Amazon has these on sale for up to $80 off depending on the color. Do you know if you can use this in tandem with another Bluetti unit? I already have the AC50.
BRO! This is awesome I love this video thank you so much. I have a question I have a small shed I converted into an office I live in Southern California we get tons of sun here do you think I can run my lights and a couple of computer with this unit if so. What do you thing the downside would be? I would get the solar panels wich I already have from a project I started. Thank you
Lights no issue for hours, couple of computers well that can add up. Not sure this would run everything even if you had solar connected. Might want to look at this it’s expandable also ua-cam.com/video/x-TAfKVy6aA/v-deo.html
Power brick too noisy Unit could be quieter Should be able to see how long unit will run with a piece of equipment plugged into the unit. Otherwise I think the unit is good looks 😊
Mine was delivered today by FedEx. He left it upside down. The “This Side Up” was on the ground. I am worried my generator is damaged. I didn’t even open the box yet. Would it hurt a solar generator to not be shipped as seller requires? I mean obviously it isn’t meant to sit on the ground on its top.
to have it last longer in the event of a power out would it make sense to unplug it after it has cooled and then plug it in at a later time? also does it pass power through if its hooked with solar panels?
Does a EB70 if ordered today still have the brick charger or did they do away with it like the EB3A..thanks. I worry about the NO APPs and no way to upgrade like the EB3A. You the best...
Big downside besides the display and low solar charging input is the loud fan when it has more than a couple of watts is going through it. Also passthrough charging without being a proper ups will damage the battery.
Hello I subscribed and are watching your videos. Thank you for sharing I’m currently waiting for RV/Van build to buy my own. Problem is waiting list. This is where I need your help, I currently have a minivan I go boondocking in it. I take everything I need to camp in and out of my minivan. Everything in this van must be portable again for now it’s a temporary go to. I have a mini heater that says it’s 800W. I need to by a 12V. Thanks for the review. Do you know why is the short message in the screen? Mine short when i plug a portable air conditioner and only shows pulling 92w
Now I am curious about Ecoflow‘s products. Their river 2 pro is also rated at 800 W output with their X-boost technology stated at 1600 W output. I get the impression that there’s some extra magic involved with their manipulation of voltage and I wonder if a 900 W coffee maker could be operated from their river 2 pro where the EB70S would fail on such a test? I know this is speculation but what would be your wild guess?
Xboost is different, it doesn't work with all electrical items and like you said it'll lower the voltage in order to do that not always safe with certain types of electric items
Thank you for this video. I just bought one and will use your link to order those cig lighter adapters. Question ...do you know where I can find an extension for the solar charging adapter it came with?
Do you only thing you go to hook up a certain meter and I’ll tell you how much you got left I know it’s not a big deal but that’s what I did to mine I put a meter
I don't think it will because I believe that unit probably requires more wattage and the battery capacity even if it could would only run it for like minutes. You might want to look at my video on the Delta Max or the Delta Pro if you like bluetti take a look at their Ac200max

Oh tks for the great review and a scratch on Brooklyn for me please ☺️
Thank you
Love the size
Can’t wait to get myself one
Thank you.
i got a mint green one the other day...fully charged it up last night and im ready for the next power outage lol
@@TechMadeEzy hey thanks for the tip! I subbed also
My pleasure stay in touch let me know how things go and welcome to the family
Delta pro is the only model with Lifep04
@@TechMadeEzy Good to know, thx.
Thanks for your feedback
@@klynch7329 I`ve seen videos from multiple people about EcoFlows failing.
I did notice that the display only indicated percentages, it would have been better if it indicated time left in hours and minutes.
Agree, hope they update that in the future thanks Harris 👍🏼
Can you do more bluetti product review? Wonder other battery like AC200P can run how many hours refrigerator.
I’m definitely working on more I just got a Bluetti thanks Jake
exactly what I needed... I wonder how long it will take re-charge from a wall outlet?
Glad it helped you About 4 to 5 hours
Great review. I was looking for a large fridge review. Currently without power Hurricane Fiona
Thanks Joanne, if you have any questions let me know we will always do our best
Believe me the dog gets two thumbs up
Thank you!
Thank you
Could one of these power an off-grid backyard office for a day?
I'm a Luddite so dose the battery then get used to charge the Bluetti if no other power is available? thanks
nevermind-saw the rest of the video
Nice Job! Love can trick....
The ECO FLOW River2 Pro is about $550. more than the EB70S BUT it charges much faster and does have a phone app for better control and upgrades.
HOWSOMEVER... the River2 Pro can NOT be paired with a supplemental battery!! Very bad.
You are correct. It will drop watts so it can increase amps most likely.
I thought I remembered seeing a video that stated you could charge this unit from 2 sources at the same time for quicker charging …. Like AC and the cigarette lighter adapter or a solar panel…. am I wrong? Did you miss discussing this aspect in your video? TIA
Don't remember seeing that Michael, send me a direct link I'd love to learn more.
Same here but I think it’s a different Bluetti model.
Great Video! Thanks
Thank you JJ
Thanks for the review. Amazon has these on sale for up to $80 off depending on the color. Do you know if you can use this in tandem with another Bluetti unit? I already have the AC50.
Thank you and I would probably ask you to contact bluetti on that
Power brick too noisy
Unit could be quieter
Should be able to see how long unit will run with a piece of equipment plugged into the unit.
No it should be fine.
🥳
Does the 200 watt solar panel also work for the Bluetti AC200P? Thanks.
Yes it would
red one is on sale at $529 and with code " welcome" you now (may 20.2022) get $80 off! Got one for $480 total with florida tax wohoo!
Score -
A con for me is the fan noise while charging. None of my batteries do that.
Nice 👍
Thanks
I'd like to see what it does if you had a very good solar panel on it like a 200 watt bluetti when it's really sunny out
I got the bluetti pv200 panel and clear sky in UK give me maximum 171w.
I want to buy my nephew one of those I don’t know what color to get him a red one blue one
to have it last longer in the event of a power out would it make sense to unplug it after it has cooled and then plug it in at a later time? also does it pass power through if its hooked with solar panels?
Correct and yes with solar
Does a EB70 if ordered today still have the brick charger or did they do away with it like the EB3A..thanks. I worry about the NO APPs and no way to upgrade like the EB3A. You the best...
Yes that model is made with that big charger thanks for watching the video
How many watts us your fridge mine is 170w will it power that?
Hi This power station can handle that but when your compressor kicks on then it uses even more wattage for a short period of time.
I see the color is red but what is your favorite
Green is one for sure
You from Greenpoint Brooklyn
👍🏻
Big downside besides the display and low solar charging input is the loud fan when it has more than a couple of watts is going through it. Also passthrough charging without being a proper ups will damage the battery.
We just did a review on the EB3a some improvements compared to this unit
I don’t see that link for the adapter of those two plugs next to the cigarette lighter plug…. Could you post it?
amzn.to/3ip65ox
Interesting, european version has 1kw inverter and same surge 1.4kw
How did you get past your condenser causing an overload each time it kicked in?
The refrigerator test as what you’re talking about? The refrigerator are used is a newer model 2021. It’s pretty efficient.
Hello I subscribed and are watching your videos. Thank you for sharing
I’m currently waiting for RV/Van build to buy my own. Problem is waiting list.
This is where I need your help,
I currently have a minivan I go boondocking in it.
I take everything I need to camp in and out of my minivan.
Everything in this van must be portable again for now it’s a temporary go to.
I have a mini heater that says it’s 800W.
I need to by a 12V. Freezer/Fridge ( love if freezer is bigger than fridge section).
And of course charging phone and speaker… that’s about it.
What would you get for max power if this was your situation. Thank you
I'd recommend going for a Delta 1300 it's 1800w w surge to 3300w but that's just surge, it's $300 off right now selling for $1099 bit.ly/34XKGzF
Great video. Should the output be set at 50Hz or 60Hz? Thanks
It’s automatic, I don’t even think you can change that. It will detect on its own
What wires do you suggest me as an extension of about 10 to 15 feet to connect a Bluetti PV120 solar panel and a Bluetti EB70S Solar Generator ?
Andre, I would say 10 AWG 15 foot cable, this one works fine its our Amazon affiliate link also for $31

Are you reviewing the bluetti ac 200 max soon
I'd love to, just don't have the budget
HI PUPPY DOG. YOU'RE SO CUTE. SORRY YOU LOOK SO DAD WHILE DAD IS MAKING THIS VIDEO FOR US. DON'T WORRY... HE'LL BE DONE SOON💕
I wanted the red but got the blue/black
Enjoy 👍🏼
Anything I would like if they made the edges some kind of protection against from banging in and against other stuff
My Samsuang was is 28cu 725kwh. Do you think if would power it and for how long?
Hi Bruce, This is 21.1 so you have to figure it would be less time, also I don't know the wattage yours pull so keep that in mind.
Also can’t these Life pro batteries be swapped out if they ever die? So you don’t have to replace the whole unit?
Hi Michael, No, not to my knowledge. But I would recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm 100%
that is the eb70s it is not available here in the philippines a eb70 at 700 watts is here
I want the little guy with the lawnmower!😎
Here’s a link

That’s our Amazon Affiliate link
@@TechMadeEzy Thank you for the link. I just spent $450 for the Bluetti EB3A and solar panel...so I guess I'll hold off on the $26😖 Bruder lawnmower guy😎it is neat though.
It seems that the AC wall charger is a little bit on the big side. They should have made something a bit more portable.
Agree, or maybe build it in and just have a cord. Thanks Gary 👍🏼
Thanks for the review. Do you know why is the short message in the screen? Mine short when i plug a portable air conditioner and only shows pulling 92w
Short message on the screen? I don't understand. 92w for a portable air conditioner wow
If this unit surges to 1400 W, then was the heat gun test on high (1200 W) a failure?
Hi good question
Surge is only for a few seconds it won't be able to keep the heat gun on
Now I am curious about Ecoflow‘s products.
Thanks Louis, how long you need?
@@TechMadeEzy is there a extension cord I can get say 20-30 ft? So I can leave generator in my van and run solar panel out away from my van?
You can do that I’d recommend a 10awg cable
That’s the thickness
Do you only thing you go to hook up a certain meter and I’ll tell you how much you got left I know it’s not a big deal but that’s what I did to mine I put a meter
Will this run a small 5000 btu a/c? I want one if it will. Thx
I don't think it will because I believe that unit probably requires more wattage and the battery capacity even if it could would only run it for like minutes. You might want to look at my video on the Delta Max or the Delta Pro if you like bluetti take a look at their Ac200max
My bluetto eb70s drains super.quick with 2 fans 40 watts total after 7 hours I literally d t have Anything left of power. I think my battery is.not working properly
I would contact support talk with them you should still be under warranty maybe something’s wrong maybe there’s a way to do a software update by using a computer but I’m not sure so definitely contact them. I hope everything is OK.
Please can this BLUETTI product power a 30watts appliance 24/7 non stop
30w for about 23.5 hours and if you add some solar even longer! Here is a link if you need one it's our affiliate link, let me know if you have more questions
amzn.to/3LCnIh3
That charger sounds pretty loud. What is it like close to it?
Do you know if anyone is offering discount codes?
No not aware at this time
Would it do a small microwave?
Depends on wattage
Why does the display keep shutting off?
That was one of my cons , it has no app so you can’t set how long the display stays on. I hope they changed that in their newer models
An honest review would mention their CS problems.
I heard from somebody that you got a hit all the buttons then from there I don’t know how long wooden last try it
