@@Max1mus449Yuri is great, loved Spiderman 2. But putting aside all bias here Neil absolutely knocked it out of the park and deserves this just as much as my boy Yuri. A lot of the people saying they think Yuri was robbed never even played BG3. His acting is top tier. He’s not even the main character and still win game awards the voice acting was literally that good. But Yuri was amazing as well
Christopher Judge is one of my favorite people, SG1 will always have a place in my warmest nostalgic memories, and Neil Newbon and the entire production of BG3 provided an extraordinary gaming experience this year as well. Great moment for the 2023 Awards, and I look forward to their future endeavors.
Congrats to Neil, as much as I think Yuri shouldve won this was absolutely deserved. His performance as Astarion was built different and one of the highlights of a borderline perfect voice cast and game
Absolutely deserved! Astarion’s story was my absolute favorite and seeing his anguished relief upon slaying Cazador after centuries of enduring his abuse nearly broke me. Neil gave a brilliant performance managing to balance humor and whimsy with hurt and rage. Only wish the whole cast was nominated along side him.
After playing all the games and getting emotionally invested in all of the characters, this is the only award i care about. Well deserved, Neil, your performance as Astarion is exemplary.

Watching Neil getting the award after playing Baldur's Gate 3 feels way more different. Astarion was a delightful character, such memorable performance from Neil, an award well deserved.
Neil absolutly deserved it. I can understand that everyone had their favorite but those who say that no one could reach their fav...did you played bg3? Did you interact with Astarion? He brought that game to life and makes the player connect in so many different ways and it was such an amazing performance I never thought it was possible to bring a pixel-character to life this much and even change lifes here in the real world with it! Again well deserved as well as I think all the voice actors are phenomenal! But it is so well deserved, Neil really gave all his life energie to this character (it even feels a bit like Astarion how he gestured etc) and I love all of it. So happy about it! (Was that over the 7 min speech? 🤣🤣🤣)
Yuri Lowenthal literally researched the behavior of those going through addiction for his performance as Peter Parker with the symbiote. Been a fan of his since Naruto started and this was HIS BEST. Yuri Lowenthal deserved the title for this year

I understand that Spider-Man 2 didn't win goty, but DUDE, Yuri deserved to win best performance, he was really scary with the symbiote and he became one of the best versions of Spider-Man in the black suit
All the people saying "Yuri deserved this, he was robbed" I wanna ask you: Have you actually played bg3? have you played through Astarion's story? He was amazing. The humour, the sass, the pain and hurt, the relief when he finally slays his abuser, the hope returning to his eyes and the concern he learns to have again or the the darkness that increases as he becomes the one with the power (depending on your choices): it was all brought to life by Neil. His voice and the mannerisms he brought to the game through mo-cap all of it. He was/is amazing. It feels cathartic to see him scream his pain to the heavens. the way he just sarcastically laughs upon finding out he might become a new kind of monster. all of it just feels... real. He won for his range and it was absolutely deserved. I'm not saying Yuri did not deserve the award. But he was not robbed. Because Neil deserved it as well and I think just in comparison, his performance stood out more.
