Anton, I'm only seeing this for the first time today, and because of it and because of YOU, my attitude toward the Crave is now 1000% more positive than it was just moments ago. Thank you for this beautiful demo of this little synth's amazing possibilities!
Many thanks for posting. I've had my Crave for several months, and am still discovering what seems like an endless range of possible settings and sounds with this. I've also combined this with the Neuron, an Akai MPK mini keyboard and some external effects pedals. What this results in is a synth engine that could rival many of the large modular synth setups, but at a tiny fraction of the cost.
Although I have quite a few analogue and digital synths in my collection I have been watching a lot of UA-cam videos about people playing with modular and semi modular synthesisers which I’ve never owned before but after watching lots of videos with Behringer I stumbled across this little gem and I have to say that I’m impressed with the sounds and the price is really cheap. Loved the playing 👍

Stumbled across this video while looking at the Edge, I was thinking that I didn’t want the Crave, but these amazing sounds convinced me I need this one also. Really great work! You are a genius!
The price ranges these Behringer synths go for is almost criminal. I picked up a Crave about two weeks back and I'm just loving it to death as an additional voice next to my Minibrute. I paid less than half price for the Crave, too.
I know right? Even their modular stuff is dirt cheap. The dream of owning a spaghetti wall of spaceship equipment is achievable even on a median income!
I'm a Behringer fan. But, I'm starting to realize how much Vangelis shaped how I hear Synthetic music. I swear couldn't tell the difference for a while there. :)
Thanks for this really creative and interesting demo! There seems to be a particular "orchestral brass" timbre this synth is good at. It looks a good synth for someone starting out in modular (me), so I have one on order. Owners of both Mother 32 and Crave seems to be happy with both synths, so this has to be good value. Also, it has MIDI unlike the moog When you consider that you can patch in alternative oscillators (i have Mavis, and a Doepfer VCO) i can't find a reason NOT to incorporate this into my beginner setup. Maybe I'll come back and give a few thoughts after a few weeks of playing : )

@Anton Anru hi is the crave also trig omnisphere? My heads trying to figure what this can do and I don't think that's possible! I have a few hardware synths can the crave seq them in a random fashion also? Many thanks and great sounds. I love generative music and I'm so pleased to see such a boom of it happening.

I am trying to send one sequence from the Behringer synth tool to the crave but have no idea how to do it. Could you help me briefly how to store one sequence and play it on the crave? thanks
Use SynthTribe app (available on Behringer website) to upload the patterns from computer to your crave. Inside the app there's a Sequencer page. Push Import and select a pattern from the folder. In a left upper corner choose destination, where you want the pattern to be stored on your synth, e.g. Bank 2, Pattern 3. Push Store and the pattern is saved inside Crave in the chosen slot. If the chosen slot was active at the moment of saving, you won't hear any difference. You should select any other pattern and then come back to the one you worked with - it will work. Hope this helps.
Just bought these patches. It would be really cool to have the sequencer notes for some of them, just so we can get as close as we can to what you have in the videos, at least for 2 or 3 of them. Also, is this all only on the crave, apart from some heavy reverb? @AntonAnru
the soundset includes patterns, you may upload them to crave to have 100% same patterns. you may open them in the behringer synthtribe app and see what's inside. this is much better than notes. yes, there is reverb and background pads
