You are right! It is a "crazy, beautiful spot" to camp. I love the deep blue skies against orange rocks and green trees! You always find the best places Mark!
Nice area. Boy I hammered my turn buckles the other day. Lost one on on dip in the road. Lost two on another bad dip in the road. Hate that! used all my spares so need to pick up some new ones before heading back home. Take care Mark.
On a motorcycle trip out there in 2015 we stayed at Monticello and rode past Hole N The Rock many times while exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We really enjoyed the area and might pass through there in about month as we return to Texas from our truck camper trip to California and Oregon. Utah is an amazing place!
Awesome video! Really like how sheltered that spot is… I’m going to try and get out there in the fall . Luv the generator and electrical setup💯. But, you are so right, setup during a time that may be considered the off season and you will have lots of solitude!
@@GoFar_RoamFree I highly recommend Starlink. I probably wouldn’t stay in spots as long as I do that don’t have cell service without Starlink. I need my internet fix. 😂
Don't know when you filmed this, but it's hotter than hell out there now. You should head for Boulder Mnt. or up in the Fishlake high country around Capitol Reef. Nice and cool up there with great views. Nice riding on the bike, too.
Thanks for the tips! That sounds like a great place to check out. I like being out there in the heat, there is nobody around. I have great AC to keep me cool. I don't mind the heat.
wow, it just keeps getting better! best site I have seen! you got the giant windbreak plus shade & those views! yes i wondered about the cycle & trailer right away, wondering where you "hid" it haha. Those cams work great. and the drone shots were super, i think i may have done it from the bottom tho haha, that looks like quite a climb! Hole in the Rock is amazing, havent been since 90s, they sure have grown & it looks like for the best, good to have a place close for ice cream & mini zoo. Thanks for another amazing video Mark, stay safe!
That looks like a good boondocking area. I've stayed close to Moab, in the spring, but, if I want to spend winters down in the South West, I can't stay too long. (I'm a Canadian snowbird). Cheers, Steve
Yes indeed Mark, another beautiful spot in awesome Utah. It seems like you are really covering some good ground in Eastern Utah and trying to take in all the sights. One gorgeous spot after another. How much longer do you plan on being in Utah ? Where to next or will you be heading back home to Arkansas ? Thanks again for another view-worthy video. Carry on, son !. Stay safe ! Before I forget, how in the heck do you stay cool in your Lance at night when you're trying to sleep or in the day time for that matter, when the temperatures are 100 F or higher ?
I'm planning on being here for several more months, then I'll be heading back to Arkansas for the holidays. I'm hoping to get back out to Arizona for the winter. I use my generators to run my A/C overnight and during the day. I like creature comforts while I'm boondocking. ;-)
I guess you are alone, it’s 100 degrees 😂 but it’s a dry heat. The breeze is nice. Do you run the AC at night? I could do it in the day with some shade and good hydration. I’d need the AC at night. Cool place and close to great locations. 👍🏼
Just caught a glimpse of your generators, did not know you could parallel two different size generators together. What kind of cord are you using for that?
I rarely use apps, most of my spots are not on any app. I use the OnX app to find public land in the area, then use my motorcycle to scout out spots to disperse camp at. It's mainly how I find camping spots. Lots and lots of scouting.
It should be. The last time I was there was last year. I haven't heard it being closed. It's about 15 miles south of Moab. It should still be open. It's only about a 2 mile no-name dirt road. If you go, let me know what you find.
Neat spot.
It sure is!
Another great camping spot and video! I need to plan a trip out there -- and feed the animals and pet that camel! Thanks!
Thanks Angie. You definitely need to check out Utah. Beautiful country!

Good to hear you had spares. I try to keep spares on me also. Safe Travels!
Very scenic but warm in the summer. I love it in the spring and fall.
Me too! I like it in the summer also, nobody around.
Can’t wait to go se Utah. Thanks for bringing us along again!
You bet!
Utah is must see. Definitely one of the top 5 states in my opinion.

Thanks! You do need a generator for some A/C during the summer months here in Utah. The heat can be brutal. But I like it, no one else around.
Did you notice if you had any bars of cell service at this spot? I know you have the starlink, but wondering if you had any cell?
@@GoFar_RoamFree There were zero cell service in that area. Lots of sandstone mountains blocking the signal.
@@DispersedCamperMan Thank you for the info… got to get me a starlink…

Absolutely gorgeous and really cute animals too
They are!
Love that bluff
Right! I thought it was pretty neat looking to be able to camp there.

Fellow Arkansan here! Thanks for all your videos - Such an awesome resource for researching places to camp!
Glad you like them!
👍🍺safe travels
I live in NWA, enjoy your videos. You've given me several great dry camp spots locations for my upcoming trip mid April 2024. Thank-you!
That is awesome!
A zoo out in the middle of nowhere! That’s cool. Good thing that camel didn’t spit on you. 😎
You got that right!
Thanks for sharing this spot. It looks absolutely perfect.
It was!

You do have a knack for finding the best camp spots!
Finding these spots takes lots of exploring and motorcycle riding to find them. I love it when I stumble on spots like this.
Rocking out , at the Hole in the Rock ! Looks great 👍!
Rock on!
Awesome!!! 👍😎🇨🇦
Wife and I went to this stop after you posted it the last time you were there being from Ohio all I could say beautiful
Thanks for letting me know. That area is beautiful indeed!
I went thru there in 2003. Beautiful area.

That’s great sandstone campsite, and within a mile walk to a zoo! Thanks for showing the security camera setup!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you. Just started watching your channel.. really enjoying your videos.

I like the aerial shots. What drone are you using? New Subscriber
Thanks. DJI Mavic Air 2.

@@DispersedCamperMan Thanks for the reply Mark. I appreciate you taking time to answer your emails. Looking forward to some more vids from Arizona.
You might want to be in or near Mexican Hat on October 14. Annular eclipse with four minutes of full.
How did you become so tech savvy? You have lots of useful gadgets. Was it gradual?
It was definitely gradual. It makes full time camping more comfortable.
@@DispersedCamperMan is it really full time camping?

👍

You can parallel certain sizes. This is my affiliate link for the cable: amzn.to/44QXmlp
Do you have a link for the security camera setup? What a great feature. I also solo camp in really remote areas.
Yes. Here's my affiliate link: Hiseeu Battery Camp Camera: amzn.to/3wnvmXH The link is also in any of my video descriptions.

what is a floating neutral ?
Floating neutral is when the neutral wire of any circuit is disconnected from the ground.
