  • A capacitor is an electronic component that stores electrical charge and energy in an electric field. Capacitors are widely used in electrical and electronic circuits and devices. The capacitor has a long history and has been in use for over 250 years. Capacitors are the oldest electronic component studied, designed, developed and used.
The capacitor has the property of storing energy in the form of electrical charge and produces the electrical difference between its plates. It is like a small rechargeable battery. In this lesson, we will examine the most popular and useful types of capacitors and where they are used. Now let's start to examine the types of capacitors and their properties.

This was amazing! I'm going to shop for components and not sure what to get for my first couple projects. Can you reply or make a video on a must buy list for beginners? I'm planning to get wire, wire strippers, bread board, led, 9V battery, transistor, resistor, ceramic capacitor (I get anything ceramic if I can), switch. (Will this be good for a few first projects??)

what's the difference between batteries and capacitors?

battery stored their energy in chemical condition meanwhile capacitor stored energy due to electrical force charge.
