Aww man thanks lol. I’m humbled by your kindness as I have seen YOUR videos and you do amazing work. Yeah, the X20 is a blast to tote around and a clever little camera. Insta360 is fun to mess with too! Thanks 😊

Hi Dan! Fun editing- I like exploring the trees and your alter ego!! The black and white turned out great- nice contrast, esp with the houses/apartments. I'll check out the Herrmanns, thanks!!

fun to not say anything to the camera lol The AI part of the Insta360 app is a kick and it’s crazy what they come up with. Within the app, you send them a small section of video (with keywords) and they send back an AI enhanced video. You can only do 3 per day lol

@@DanFarrar Lol! You’ll have to show me how to do that too! I just have a basic iPad - hopefully it’s good enough! 🤪

@@JenniferLupine that’s the amazing thing…Insta360 works on most phones/tablets. The app would work slower and probably have a little lag maybe but it’s pretty stable. I’m not certain but I think the camera does some work too. Both my X2 and X4 get quite warm working through that WiFi lol. I am glad both the Pocket 3 and insta360 work well with my M1 iPad Pro. I have zero interest in a new iPad because camera gear is always first on my list. I think it will work lol -sorry for the rant lol

@@DanFarrar Rant away! lol! 😉 Do you guys have plans for July 4th? Steve has to work, I’ll be home weeding and watering the flowers- maybe take a walk too. The neighbors tend to set off lots of fireworks so we’ll sit back and enjoy the show! 😆

@@JenniferLupine This entire town lights up on the 4th. We got CBD gummies for the dogs. Neither one get scared but Benny will stay up barking at them all night. My neighbors typically have big boomers and I’m thinking a 360 camera is in order lol

Nice shots Dan...The images at 4:28 and after are really good.
    Film sim?
I've been running the Ilford FP4 B&W last couple of days, but not quite doing it for me. I've found it a touch flat, but it does produce nice/delicate portrait style/subject specific style shots. I'm going to tweak the contrast slightly, just to give a touch more depth/punch and see how it goes...Sometimes these things can be slow burners, and you can really end up liking a look you were initially unsure about...A bit like music, really.

The X20 is just ‘black and white” no ACROS but there is monochrome +rgb filter. It is my favorite Fuji B&W (no kidding). Mark Adams (one camera one lens) has a really nice one called M10 Monochrom and that is my favorite for APSC. I’m thinking part of the reason the X20 does so well for me is I don’t feel like it’s trying to fight me for exposure. X20 says you want black? OK then black you get. More modern systems are so good at getting exposure “correct” and dynamic range “spot on” that they fail to let you fail lol. I don’t need dynamic range when I’m crunching the crap out of the shadows dang it. I feel the same with highlights…sometimes I blow them out because I want to. I love my GFX for what it does, but again with the crazy killer good dynamic range that can be really hard to push or pull around lol (still…GFX is wonderful). As for settings on the X20 I had S -1, NR -1, H/S -1 & +1, DR 100 and ISO 100 (this little bugger has 100 lol ) P mode and spot point metering. The lens is 24-112mm and I hit the gambit of focal ranges and I found I work it just like the 16-80f4 on the X-Pro3. I used to do weddings so that range of 24-120mm on a zoom is natural for me.

    Mr. Farrar
    Bravo!!!
    I like B& W photos.
I just don't know when they are effective in YT video.
I enjoy insta 360 footage in the film. The original editing program does not have much options I reckon.
wow how can you make yourself into animation character, cool.
I have tons of questions to ask, but I need to set a camera for my level first and still has not gotten this part.
Do you use macro lens? Embarrassing to ask, but do I need an adaptor for the lens?
I am frustrated I cannot make some time to set up my camera yet. I cannot even take a photo when I set AF.
So silly to you...I am looking for YT video to learn, but there are so many and hard to understand at this point.
I made a short YT vid schedule for premiere next week. I would I will make you laugh when you see the thumbnail photo hahahaha
    Happy July the Fourth.

@@ms.kayak7seas Photography is a very broad subject. Many cameras doing many things. My advice is to practice lots and keep exploring with your camera. It isn’t as easy as they make it out to be. Grab camera and go…repeat…repeat lol. Good luck! I’ll be looking for your video! 👍
