Surgery comes with multiple risks. It should be done when all other options are not possible. You may have to keep some plates which I think are metal. The body does not like foreign objects.
@@samosa5925 if you want they can remove it afterwards in most of the cases people don't remove that cuz it is made of non-reactive metal that's why it is expensive surgery.
I know right? I have seen varied results from different doctors all over the world, this one and the others who perform IMDO (one from spain and the other from mexico) tend to give great changes, the ones in my country look way too subtle, close to no results at all. I guess travelling is part of this as well. May we all ascend some day.
Really unbelievable this type of operation .. because it really returns an unparalleled harmonious development .. which maybe years of wrong vices such as atypical swallowing, oral breathing etc. have caused. is this type of operation carried out only by you? since it is a set of techniques.
I really need this surgery once I'm done with MSE. I've had a class 2 since 6th grade. My shitty orthodontist just extracted my teeth and didn't do my face any wonders and now I have sleep apnea. Pls help me find some good surgeons for Super Bimax IMDO🙏🏽
I’m victim of malpractice by Federico Hernández Alfaro (maxillo Monkey-facial Institute in Barcelona). Looking for an experienced professional for the revision this time.
Let me guess...monkey face syndrome? This surgeon has an obvious propensity to leave the faces protruding and at the same time worsen their mandibular angle (open the mandibular angle). I don't know why the hell nobody tells him he's doing it wrong, I don't understand why he doesn't shorten the maxilla and push the jaws only horizontally forward (not diagonally down). My face also got worse and I had to travel to South Korea. *It also left me with a prognathism in my lower jaw and to compensate for it, my orthodontist had to tilt the upper incisors forward (hence the monkey face syndrome).
@@zhaziralepess1326 Hi, the truth is that I expected a better result in Korea (I know they can do better). Even so, they improved the appearance of my face, they somewhat compensated for the previous surgery. The clinic is called EU and my surgeon was Dr. Shin (there are only 2 surgeons in the clinic, him and Dr. Kim). The clinic has a very good reputation and the prices they offer are quite lower than other more famous clinics (but be careful with the marketing, in some clinics there are too many surgeons and only some are really good and experienced). If you travel to Korea you just have to keep in mind that the tendency of surgeons there is to rotate the jaw inwards and soften (too much for my taste) the jaw angle (even in men), but those are the standards of beauty in Asia, quite different from those of the West. *If you tell me what your problem is I will be able to help you more precisely, the truth is that I have learned a lot over the years

I'm not sure. It contains SARME which will make your maxilla wider. Not sure if this kind of operation affects the cheekbones. But MSE (MARPE) is a solution for this in adults not being too old yet.
Great presentation. My questions if you'd be so kind to answer: 1. What benefits does such surgery have over, say, jaw line implants? This surgery, though obviously affective, does seem to me slightly more time consuming and invasive... 2. What are the chances of damaging the nerves in the face with such an operation..? From the research i have done it seems relatively likely that some patients will lose sensation in their lips, gums, face, jaw...some times permanently.
Jaw implants become very noticeable in old age and can cause damage to bones in some cases depending on implants. Always consult with medical professional to find legitimate answers.
Jaw line implants change the cosmetic appearance but not the function of the jaw. A condition like this usually comes with pain, back problems, trouble chewing, biting and breathing, affecting the whole body.
MSE can widen cheekbones and very mildly project cheekbones. But there is risk of an asymmetrical result. SARPE is more controlled and will be symmetrical but also does nothing for cheekbones. So pros and cons for each.
I think I'm gonna get this. Can I get it even if I only have a very minor overbite. Like not iverjer and I don't want orthodontic braces. Yours truly, grigori
@@PaulCoceancig Now this is rare in MMA procedures I think. I have been in talks with your office. Derek Mahony suggested IMDO on my first consult, but need to understand how much advancement in needed for maxilla as well, which I am hoping I get an answer to at the second appointment with him.
I like precisely the first faces, the convex ones. People who want a convex face should also be given a solución. My ideal face shape is Josephine Baker´s , convex, femenine, baby like, super photogenic, a face that does not age. Flat ( normal) faces or concave faces dont have any appeal to me. Maybe we are a minority, but we exist.
Orthodontics: Just push the teeth reeallly reallly hard to bend in weird positions for Muh occlusion. Orthognathics: Actually Correct the jaw problem, then move the teeth
I would do anything for this surgery! One day I will be able to afford it. I can see how much more confident these people have become.

Does Super BIMAX help in reducing the lenght of the philtrum and make the upper lip a little bit more voluminous?

yes it will make the lip a little bigger but for the length of philtrum he has to cut a small piece of the maxilla and will make it shorter
