Thanks, the two videos were 1000% more helpful than the Yahama service manual, and their tech support. Mine is a 1999 XL1200 Limited and is almost exactly like yours.
I have heard some guys using oiteker clamps but there isn't much room to get the pliers in there. I used a small spring style clamp that i bought from O'reilly Auto parts, these you can use a pair of pliers to squeeze the clamps to slide on the oil line.
did you replace oil lines? and if not, could you make a vid on that?? That would be awesome. common problem with these things with oil lines popping off. But ZERO vids on replacing them
Do you need to take that airbox off next to the oil pump in order to remove the oil pump? What about the flame arrestor? I just want to install a block off kit

my oil lines were good I just had to replace the clamps.

I don't think I had to remove the flame arrestor or air box
i wish someone would do a video on how to put it back, the easiest part is the removal
