I'm really glad i saw this vid. I've wanted to start using my drawings with a tablet for a while but never knew what would be best for me. You ticked all the boxes for me and I'm honestly just sold. good to know that the trail of dots on the lowest pressure can be solved by adjusting the firmness. That's the one thing that was putting me off from buying this for my bro (cause he wants to get into ZBrush). Thanks for the detailed review
it's going to be the first tablet i'm going to buy. i mostly sketch with my mouse, or color a little bit in some places, that's it, so i really think it's perfect for me! great video! ( also i love your voice lol)

I will buy this, but i know as a left hander the turning of the tablet the other way round will get annoying quickly with that cable jutting out the bottom.

It works pretty well and it doesn't feel too cheap despite the price, high report rate.
Only downside for me is the pen, its quite slippery so you might want to use a rubber band or something.

The new version now comes with glove and can connect to Android phones now(except the Samsung smartphones).

Can I ask something over this review? I'm using it on Photoshop CS6 and it's only useable when I double-tap the pen on the tablet, it's really annoying cuz in Illustrator, it appears to be normal with one tap only. Anyone have the same issue or it's just me?? Any solution for it??

do you think this tablet is any good at note taking in onenote. i am worried that its small size might limit the amount of work i am able to write since i tend to draw formula and weird physic stuff/shapes that not even i understand. also do you know of any similiar price point tablets that are around notebook size
I'm looking for a graphics tablet for physics and maths as well, I've used so much paper last year and I'm looking for something to do exercises and questions with. i may also dabble in graphic art, but my main concern is whether it would be suitable for note-taking. If you did try the tablet, how did you find it when used for this purpose?
hey sorry for taking long i purchased this tablet and i found it perfect for what i was doing. it was the right size (i thought it might be too small but its around a5 notepad size) and everything perfect for lecture halls and writing down equations on one note so far so good i have absolutely no complaints which is rare definitely a must buy super cheap and really good quality fits in my bag. some people on youtube have said that the pen buttons are loose but i think they are perfect and you wont notice anything
@@lite6384 No problem, after some testing of the size with some paper it should be more than big enough, and easy to take between lectures. Thanks for your help, I'll pick one up this week!
In photoshop using this tablet I only get straight lines with like 10% Opacity.. I tried Krita and it worked fine.. does anyone else have this problem?
With the latest 2018 CC update, I am also encountering this problem. It worked fine in the first release of 2018 but whatever update was made after that has bugged things all up. I can't be sure it has to do with the tablet driver or the program specifically, but I was able to get the pen to at least work [without pressure] by going into the PSUserConfig.txt file and setting "UseSystemStylus 0" to "UseSystemStylus 1", but it's not a real fix for usability. :/

Can it be used on Power Point, Microsoft Whitebaord and One Note for teaching purposes ? I am not into drawing or art. Just to wite out mathematical steps, diagrams, graphs .
You should be able to do all that with no problem. You may still need to install the driver for the tablet to work properly, but it should be able to write in programs with a pencil/writing tool just fine. PowerPoint might be the only one that doesn't have a writing tool.
What if my laptop doesn't have any cd player?
I did order this tablet. I'll comment again if this works in gimp, photoshop cs6, krita, blender3D and others... hehe I'm excited to test this out. I'm just a beginner, I guess this is best for me now.

There is no pen pressure on my Veikk S640 and when I click Enable Windows Ink Function, the pen stops working completely.

It should work without an issue, but I don't think you will have pressure sensitivity.
What if there's another Driver in your PC?

It should work, I can’t say for sure if pressure will work though because I don’t have the program myself.

When you go into System Preferences there should be a blue icon towards the bottom, clicking that should bring up settings. If not, go to your Applications folder and look for "Veikk" or "PenTablet". Hope that helps!

I recommend right clicking on the firealpaca program [while it is closed] and try running it as administrator, hopefully that helps!

Yes, I can't test it because I don't have an Android phone, but the amazon listing says it works with the OTG cable.
I ordered this tab. But I´m not sure it will work with Krita or Gimp and since Adobe is paid I maybe not able to use...
I haven't tested it on Krita or Gimp [there is a high chance they will work though] but another free program you can use it with is FireAlpaca, I show testing it in the review and it works perfectly.

It’s a pretty small tablet so if you are looking to limit arm movement it might work for you for a long amount of time.
