This tablet is awesome for beginners. I've been using this tablet ever since highschool and still are in my college studies. It's affordable, functional, and i even played OSU using it lol. One drawback i can definitely say is that it has no pressure pressing. If you do drawings with it you will have flat lines

like the pressure sensitivity dont work at all?

@@femo3336 yea... I'm not sure if they even implemented the pressure sensitivity in the first place. No matter how hard I push the pen onto the tablet the line i create will carry the same weight. Idk if you can fix it by playing around with the settings

Hey monitor, i new to drawing and would like your opinion, i recently had got to demo a drawing tablet without the screen and it felt very disconnected from what i saw on screen, i was only able to mess with it for 5 minutes, but cant say i enjoyed having to look back and forth as well as hovering the pen over the screen felt shaky, is that something that one gets used to? or is it better to get a screen tablet?

Thank you for taking the time to ask! I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. PERSONALLY, I have always preferred screen tablets (ipads, wacom cintiq, etc) where you see EXACTLY where you're drawing, like with pencil and paper. The biggest downside with screen tablets is the price, they can cost a few hundred to a thousand dollars. Pen Tablets are a LOT cheaper, but like you said, you need to deal with that "disconnect." I have a few friends who started out with pen tablets and were able to make great art with them. They told me it takes a bit of practice to get used to it. My very first drawing tablet was a Wacom Bamboo pen tablet and I struggled a LOT. I won't lie, I enjoyed switching to a screen tablet a LOT MORE
So if you have the money or can find a good deal (cyber monday, holidays etc), I would say a screen tablet IS worth it. There are affordable options from XP-Pen, Gaomon, Huion, etc, Wacom tends to be the most expensive. But if you don't have the money, then pen tablets can still be good once you get used to it. At the end of the day you are drawing with the same art software, so somebody who masters a $30 pen tablet could theoretically make the same art as someone who uses a expensive screen tablet.
      Hopefully that helps!

Hello sir, is this good for note taking?

Since it needs to be plugged into a laptop or pc with a USB, it might be a bit hard to transport around. If you plan to stay in one spot it could be good though! It is a bit big though so I would poke around and see what size would be good for your needs!

waste of 30$ just save for an ipad

    • @MonitorComics

I wouldn't say it is a "waste," an IPad isn't even a fair comparison. For one, it's a screen tablet. And 2, the price range is completely different. The newest models can cost upwards of $1000 which is NOT beginner friendly or budget friendly

@MonitorComics idk why someone would waste money on a tablet without a screen when you can just draw on paper.

@@donvhermit5803 It's personal preference. At the end of the day you're using the same digital art software. If you can get good with a cheap pen tablet, you could make the same quality art as professionals using screen tablets. I'm personally a much bigger fan of screen tablets too, but I can see why beginners, especially younger artists might look into stuff like this
