The whole thing was amazing, but what most impressed me was the seamlessness of the interaction between Mulan and Ratcliffe at 3:30 when he flinches away from her gesturing at him.
Doing this song with Mulan sounds super difficult since most of her movie scenes she is not being like super cocky or disrespectful but you made it work. Specially at the end. Replacing faces on other characters bodies is uncanny and it most be so much harder to do than to watch. But I think you connected the character with the song very well. Congratulations and I hope this gets all the engagement it desserves.
I like how you handled the “you said I tricked you” bit because while Anne is showboating and having fun, at the time of all this… Henry’s rejection was a very PUBLIC rejection. It was an embarrassing and degrading moment for Anne. Sure she came out in the end but imagine being rejected WORLDWIDE by a King. Even if the king was a loser like Henry, he was still the king if the highest ruling kingdom at the time. I always felt just a little bad for her
