    We are twinning now!! Always appreciate the shout out bud. I'm a huge fan of the Clark system for the V13, seated riding is extremely comfortable. I'm finally back on my V13 and almost back to 100% healed so will be posting a new video in the morning. Let me know how the powerknobs work I would be interested in buying a set from you if you plan on selling them.

      Yea dude I am loving it as well. Glad you are healed up dude. The knobs arent my design so I wouldn't sell them for profit but I could certainly print you a set.

    Seated riding is a major game changer. Being new to EUC riding, have found it to give the feet a break and continue to progress. Also nice to get lower when major winds. Glad I learned it early, and very comfortable doing so, and even transitions up and down at 30+

    • @Duf

      Yep its a great way to give your feet a rest. I will be doing it much more now

    I'm learning to sit down, too. The guys here on youtube make it look so easy. I'm just going to take my time, eventually I'll get it.

      I did about 10 miles of mostly seated tonight. It went well, BUT, I almost ate shit when I transitioned to standing, while turning and going rather slow. I just barely avoided going down from a bad back and forth wobble.

    Love seated riding on my v13 fav high speed method.

    I love seated, it seems a touch more safe, though going fast seems a bit more difficult. It has been a bit since I have used it though. I tried getting off the T4 while moving on pavement and have my ankle sprained pretty good now. I guess I had forgotten what happens and needed a reminder. Nothing broken thankfully, except my ego once again.

    • @Duf
      @Duf  Місяць тому +2

      Many people claim they prefer going fast seated as having less surface area exposed to wind equals more speed. I can't imagine my wanting to go over 40 seated. Sorry to hear about the ankle!

    I am thinking of getting the V13 next.
    I mostly ride seated on my V12. Can't transition from standing to seated on the V12, it is too small, but can stand from a seated position.
    I think the V13 will be more comfortable on my knees since it is taller and has suspension.
    Riding seated is more stable and better than standing, especially on heavier wheels. Have to ride like a one wheel motorcycle, doing counter-steering and the like.

      I like the V13 (and the V12). The V13 is a totally different beast though.

    For printing those PowerKnobz, is it easily altered to print it at a 20-30 degree angle to have greater strength (less layer separation)? Printing parallel to mounting surface seems to warp overtime... related question, how does one revive old Clark pads that have warped over time? And, what's the best prep/primer for bonding to TPU? I was considering "contact cement" to help adhere the Velcro as well as possibly on the yoga block too. Alcohol and scuff-sanding may not be enough from what I've seen in the comments.

    • @Duf
      @Duf  Місяць тому +2

      Yea I am aware of the advantages of printing on an angle. The part feels very strong though. I guess I will see once I install/use them.

    • @Duf
      @Duf  Місяць тому +2

      I plan to start with just sticking the velcro on the back of a knob and see how it goes from there.
