Everyone has their purpose for EUCs, but this use case of exploration is alluring. I always wanted to join Marty on his infamous treks. It’s a shame he discontinued his tours. You are so lucky, he opened up this lane of travel for you, WOW
I lived in So. Callifornia (Santa Monica) for yrs. My Dad Lived here since I was born in North Hollywood in '72. I havent been back out there in over a decade but it is the best place to Ride an EuC (even tho I never rode any out there since I didnt have an euc then). I love it there but circumstances and family brought be back out to Jersey. Calif. has been ruined by the politicians, It is a true Jewel and many people never see all the places you can explore... I hope you had a great time Bud.. GOD Bless
Great video there Duf and sounds like it was a great trip ... you and Marty have inspired many of us to get into this sport ... 8 years .. where did that go right?
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing your experience riding on Sherman L with us! It would be great to ride with you, guys! And welcome to Russia! We also have big community of euc riders here! And there're a lot of interesting and beautiful places to explore!🙂🤝
That fence looks crazy. Well hitting stuff never gets boring. HaHa Beautiful ride. What speeds up/down. A meca for non-cars. Grownups can do this stuff. Chicks dig scars. Yes Roger will challenge you.
Hi Shawn, lots of posts recently, can't keep up with you. Have other things to do you know 🙂 Mt Baldy 70 miles, my longest ride to date 35miles, more than enough for me - Extreme. Definitely not Florida, not the UK either to be sure. You have to be careful riding 90 miles in the UK you might get your feet wet, especially around me, I'm in Cornwall in the far SouthWest of the Country. Altitude, you loose around 2 degrees C (we don't do Fahrenheit) for every 1000ft, something from my Hang Gliding days 🙂 Martys Drone goes off filming by itself - I've seen the video, one of the best he's done - don't tell him I said that 🙂
How did your feet feel during your trip??? My feet tend to hurt pretty early while standing. I can't imagine how my feet would feel standing that long without sitting too. Thanks and take care
@@Duf that's good to hear, yeah I do believe I have bad circulation down there. I think that's what's going on for me. I live near Indianapolis it's a blast going and riding around there. Safe travels
How much time to ride 90mi? The quality of the suspension has to make the 90mi much easier. Considering that you've ridden up to the road closure on a one wheeled balance device, "proceeding at your own risk" seems redundant.😂
My husband weigh 190 lbs (200 with helmet, backpack) what type of suspension do you recommend that is as smooth as butter ( street ride) for the Sherman L. which one should I choose? 62 lbs or 66?
I like a lighter spring but some prefer higher. If he is going to be exclusively street I would say a 66 or 62. The 70lb felt a little hard for me compared to what I am used to on my other Veteran suspension wheels.
So happy you were able to enjoy this ride!! ❤️
I may have liked it even more than GMR.
Great video Duf. I really enjoyed your perspective and I'm glad you came for the ride ✊
Thanks my man. I did enjoy every ride more this time, probably because I was not suffering physically like I did previously.
@@Duf ❤

Roger picked up the tour responsibilities so if you still want to do it, you can
That was fun Duf, thanks for taking me along but no ice cream would have been a hardship. Safe return. 6 pac Gord
It was a MAJOR disappointment! Just kidding, great ride.

Yea bud it really is a beautiful place once you get off the damn freeways.
Super-scenic video. Thank you, Duf.
Glad you enjoyed it
Was nice to meet you Duff. Extreme!
You too Tom, thanks for riding with us!
They put Duf on the new wheel cause they know these prototypes might fail. Duf pretty brave to ride the Sherm L!!! 90 miles?? Let's go!!!
That is the way Marty works!! lol

Time flies my man, it flies....
Great ride and video. Glad you had a chance to get out with the guys for a few days. Maybe get you back there for Roger’s tour this year.
I may have a wedding right at that time in October but if not I may consider it.

You never know, never know.....
Nice video. Another good ride. A great time was had by all.
I would agree!
Duf I can’t ride seated either it’s a long way down to the seat. GOALS
I can only do it on the V13
I’m 6’4 and have 4500 miles on my extreme. I have a tall seat now but seated is still uncomfortable and I can’t transition yet. The struggle is real!
@@-renoboarder-4820 Yep not easy for us tall guys. I do know that the faster you transition, the better

Going up it was less than 25mph most of the time. On the way down it was more 30-40

Yea buddy, I got you covered!

Surprisingly well, which surprises me. I have not been doing any long riding in Florida to prep either.

Great run out again Duf, looked a fun day. How long (time) did it take? 70 pound shock more than your used to.
We left at 10AM and got back a little before 5:30
Great video! I'm so happy that you and everyone else had great time. Were you able to ride to Dunkin Donuts while you were there?
This is hard to believe but I did not have a single cup of coffee, DD or otherwise while I was there.
@@Duf I can imagine why. Looks like they kept you pretty occupied the whole time you were there.

We left at 10AM and got back around 5:30PM with maybe a 90 minute charging break.
What elbow & knee guards are you wearing, Duf? They look gnarly!
Nobleman, I have a discount code for their gear in my description below.
@@Duf Thanks!
Which park was that again?
That is a ride up to Grassy Hollow
you are in the Kanto region
You would know better than I!
What was your average speed? It looks like a comfortable pace.
On the way up 25ish, on the way down low to mid 30s
Hey, Duf: Do you think that the Veteran Lynx would also make the same journey (i.e., 45 miles, 8000 feet in elevation) on a single charge?
Depending on speed you ride, yes
@@Duf Cool - Thanks!
Good video, still undecided if I’m going to get the L though….
I am decided if I can sell my S to offset the cost
Problem I have is that big EUC’s like my SS are a hard sell 2nd hand where I live.
@@skampster Yea I have been pretty lucky with selling my wheels because people know me from my channel.

Hey, one channel sound again. It's very inconvenient to listen.
At a couple spots the mic cord was a little out which caused the single channel
