It's all my opinion. Right wrong, doesn't really matter. It just me being as honest as I can be. As much as I like finding gold, I get alot from just being out.
As usual , great tape , thank You so much for going to the effort to entertain your many starving fans I would have liked seeing you doing a little feeding to see your rate and how much effort is involved It would have revealed how well your spray bars work You know , I think this , and many of your tapes , actually are a great endorsement for miners moss Only issue for miners moss is the huge amount of cons which do need emptying often
good set up mate ive always used the 8 inch, and the other one i made is a 12 inch can shift a lot if you get into it if back holds up ,i normal pan out 3 or 4 times ha ha always seam to get some in every pan mate
Something I haven't spoken about before, panning into a pan and repanning your concentrates from a highbanker. I'm sure many do. The 8 " is about as big as I'll go. , would have to dig to hard if it was any bigger.
Work every Sunday and most Saturday helping my mum move for the next month or so. Have a good 6 months of water in the creeks . So hopefully will catch up.
You are running at 8 degrees - What is the manufacturers recommended angle for this mat ? I have a 6 inch minimat and recommendation is 9 - 9.5 degrees
Seeking as I'm catching most of the gold in the crash pad in the hopper and the bunnings door mat under the hopper. I can back the mat right off, as long as it's still clearing. So 6 to 8 degrees. I believe 8 degrees is recommended. This will all depends on the water flow and the type of dirt you're digging.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures Is the miners moss affected by angles or does it grab gold at any angle ? I suppose if is too small it would clog much earlier but what would happen if the angle was great , like say 20 degrees ? This question is assuming there was no dream mat being used ?
I believe when Gold Rat designed there highbanker that the crash pad in the hopper was to create a capture area,. Then any gold that got though would get caught by the Dream mat. What I did was create a capture area under the hopper that is easily removed without having to undo anything. Then last of all having the Dream mat. This is the guarantee. Have found when running the 6 inch highbanker the round and fine gold to be caught in the mat and larger gold in the moss. Finally the moss is different in the 2 area's. The more changes you have the better. Having said all that. Washing the gravel is very important. If you're seeing dirty gravels, then your most probable having gold loss from the hopper.
Good to see you back.
Thanks Ian
Great work fam. Keep getting that au. Gold squad out!!!
Thanks for watching.
Great to see you producing again mate! Love your in depth analysis and your local content.

@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures Not quite sure if you read my question as I am still none the wiser :(
8 degrees is recommended, with 3000gph. Just like 9 degrees with 1100gph on the 6 inch mat. When you use the mat in a highbanker different story.
