I appreciate you doing this as it encouraged me to revitalize an antique AI Root smoker. Your method may have been on a cheap one, but it helped me restore a 100-year-old one. Good show, sir.
Fairly interesting, I guess one of those home made bellows would be nice for the charcoal fire. I may make one now that you showed how easy it is to spend a little time in the shop, thanks!
Thanks for sharing I will use some of your techniques to make a smoker from scratch seeing if it is possible to make my hive smoker now and catch a wild swarm of bees. Thanks again
Nice repair job. I have found that black or white rubber membrane they use for flat roofing works really good for places like that and it stands up to a lot of abuse. We keep scraps around for just those time. Good video, thanks.
Thanks. I (and probably half of the beekeeping world) also have that smoker. This will look better than the copious amounts of duct tape holding it together.
My bellows have the same problem. The video is great, only thing to make it better is offering your name and address, repair cost and I'll send mine your way for repair!

Looks like you sucked some fire in from the metal canister. Replacement bellows start around $7.00.
That's true but the staples were also right at the edge and pulled through. Thanks for the comment!
