9:10 The Transition from Relm to Shadow give me shivers every time, and it's even more intense on this version. Well done!
Best Final Fantasy in the entire series imho and one of the best if not the best endings in the series. You guys deserve your own personal airship for this one. Amazing👍
I agree. I beat this game to death on the SNES last century. I like the characters, story, and gameplay. This is one of my favorite video game endings.
HOLY SHIT I can't even tell you how many times I beat this game over and over to listen to this. Really takes me back to when games were amazing!
I remember beating this game to death on the SNES last century. This was one of my favorite video game endings.
It fills my heart with joy to know you waited for Shadow.
Thank you again for the awesome cover!
9:20 ~ 10:02 - Oh, Lord! I've got the shudders on this part.
Andrew, usually I don't comment on videos. I'm more on the lurker side of the Internet. However, I've been in love with your renditions for 2 years now since I've found the "Coin Song" and "Epitaph" videos. I always thought they were completely true to their original counterparts and sometimes I think you've even improved other musics as in "Figaro" or "Meridian Child" for an instance.
But this time I completely froze in my chair and your play struck down as visceral.
Unfortunately I live in a country where my currency amounts next to nothing and financial institutions consider Patreon as just a scam website and blocks credit cards on the spot. So I can only hope you get more and more recognition for your awesome work as a musician and I beg you continue to bless me and other viewers with music.
Keep up the incredible work, lad. It has soul. Your videos make my day full of great feelings.
Epitaph is one of my favorite pieces in all of music. He really did such a great job on it too.
This theme can move me to tears, and I'm pleased to see it honored so throughly. In also pleased to see others love it as much as I.
Hope you're doing good in the world wherever you are
I listen to the original ending song almost twice a month. I cry everytime... this rendition is not the exception, so beautiful...
This is the BEST cover for this ending Medley on the internet. The amount of wonderful memories this brought to me as a kid playing this timeless classic. Absolutely fabulous.
The respect Orchestral Fantasy gives the OST's is commendable. Yet another awe-inspiring upload, Cheers!
This has been one of my dream covers forever, with a collaboration just like this - but I feel like yours might just be the definitive version. This is stunning. The blending of Locke and Celes's themes will ALWAYS make me cry, and this is no exception. Well done, everyone.
Holy shit, you are upping your game.
You really did this one justice. This is fantastic!
DEFINITIVE VERSION
You guys deserve way more than 13k subs. The algorithm must be hard at work crushing small creators.
I always felt like this channel suffered because of how faithful it's recreations are. We seem to appreciate them but the audience at large seems to prefer covers in other styles
I don't really agree with that. I think the music is fantastic as Uematsu created it. It doesn't need to be changed and I think most people would agree with that. I just think the channel was created later in UA-cam''s life cycle, after the algorithm was changed and paid promotions took over. It's hard for small channels to get attention now.
@@bobomber it's possible but the truth is their highest viewed video doesn't come close to what covers attract. I've tried sharing these videos on social media myself and people just seem not to care
@@bobomber some channels literally blow up overnight. A Zelda animation that came out 3 weeks ago is the only video on one channel and it has surpassed this. It was only 6 seconds long. We the long time supporters just have to wait for the algorithm to favor Andrew and Co and then they'll go big!
Let's keep believing and supporting our Orchestral Fantasy friends and soon he will become more popular.
God, it's so beautiful.
Aye, never expected to see you here Skyen
and yeah, this is amazing, I agree
Love your analysis videos btw
I was delighted to have the opportunity to mix this. Great job to everyone involved; a fantastic arrangement that brought me to tears!
This is next level my good sir. Congratulations on the accomplishment!
Never been so excited to listen to a UA-cam video....
Could not click fast enough.
This is one of Nobuo Uematsu’s greatest works. I, like many others I see posting here, used to beat the game regularly just to hear this back in the day. The feelings it gave 8-year-old-Me were certainly powerful, but seem to pale in comparison to the emotions it evokes today, with almost 30 years of memories and nostalgia to reflect on. Thank you so much for the work that you do and all the little moments of reflection your renditions provide. Masterful work, all of you!
So UA-cam really dared to hide your new videos from me uh. Unacceptable, you guys are incredible. I always get super emotional with this ending theme...❤️
This is a masterpiece. All FF6 fans in the world need to see this!
This was gorgeous! Please also do the rest of the ending theme!
By far my favorite game soundtrack. This piece is an accumulation of all that makes this one of the greatest. Paid to the utmost respect. Really impressive as always. In many respects FF6 is Nobuo Uematsu's magnum opus and you pay it the respect it deserves every single time.
Well Shadow's theme melted my face off. Tears were shed. Thank you so much.
I feel you brother

Good pool.
I can't believe how Nobuo so masterfully snuck in Forever Rachel between Celes and Locke's respective themes. What a genius!
How was I today years old before realizing that it was Forever Rachel and not just some unrelated musical connective tissue? It's just in so much more of a triumphant tone than Forever Rachel's more melancholy one. It really speaks to the redemption and new purpose Locke has in life, and of course Nobuo Uematsu's way of weaving it all together in song. Incredible!
Yes Andrew and friends!!! This one is the best in my eyes!! Beautiful!!!
Amazing! Can you do some ff8-10?
You get better with every one you put out and this hit all the emotional beats for me from when I beat the game. FF6 is my favorite game and thanks so much for sharing this with us (me).
Request
I love Mario RPG, so please.
I'm Japanese and I'm a big fan
I support you
I haven't even listened yet and I already love it
We all do
Nice job! Final Fantasy VI is my fav game of all time! Dancing Mad and Terra Theme next please!!!!!
He's already covered Terra's song:-)
Every movement is giving me chills. Phenomenal work, and thank you.
Yet another skillful recreation... BRAVO!
Yessss! I've been waiting for this to show up on the channel for a long time. FFVI is so good. Wonderful job by everyone.
I hope I could give you one thousand likes. 😊
WOW this is an EXCELLENT performance!! Better than distant worlds?!
Been subscribed to your channel for about a month. I gotta say I am seriously baffled by how faithful you guys are to the original 16bits tunes all throughout. Sounds great, really! Top quality work :)
I'm a pretty simple dude, I see FFVI or Chrono Trigger, I like ^^
I think I'll subscribe to your Patreon soon ;)
Think you could look into some Xenogears or Chrono Cross in the future ^^?
As far as 8 and 16 bits are concerned, I think more obscure Squaresoft titles such as Mystic Quest Legend/FF USA, Treasure of the Rudras or the SaGa series would be awesome!
In any case, you do you! It's always awesome anyway ^^ Thanks a lot for what you put out there :)
Beautiful work by everyone involved 🥲
Amazing as always. What kind of harp is she playing on?
A triumph, through and through. Amazing work, everyone!
That Terra/Relm/Shadow transition tho
Oh. my. GOD. I literally wept. Superbly done, Andrew, Joanne, Gregory, Nathan, David, Michael, Fernando, and Fredrik!
It's just allergies, I swear T_T
How do you only have 13.1k subscribers
Flawless I’ve finished game when I was a teen this really brings me back after defeating Kefka.👍👍
OH MY GOD YOU FINALLY DID IT!!!
I am in tears. My first RPG and I was so sad it ended.
This is my favorite ending. I've been fortunate to enjoy a lot of incredible games, but very few have endings as perfect as this. I could not be more thrilled with this performance. Thank you for respecting the original vision and keeping it faithful.
boy this brings back mid 1990's all over again...but one thing I wished you guys would have done is the escape from kefka's tower part onward or do you have that planned for a later date? Cause I loved that part alot too lol
My favorite ending theme of any game.... Lovely rendition.
incredible, outstanding, amazing, flawless
At some point I want to replace all of the in game music with your version and play FF VI again.
Of course, that means you need to tackle Dancing Mad at some point, but I'm patient.
OH...MY...GOD. you've outdone yourself.
Violin 🎻 Harp Trumpet 🎺 cello(?)...Only 4?. . . . . . . play different instruments
I love this with my soul. Thanks y'all.
That Relm into Shadow theme... gets me every time.
Please tell me you're doing the next part!! 😲❤
Back again and again. Some of us have been waiting decades for this.
This was needed. Love it.
Now I'm just waiting for you guys to start in on the Dragon Quest games.
It's the only game series that truly can compete with Final Fantasy when you compare soundtracks. So many wonderful Castle themes, town themes, overworld themes, battle themes. And while I still prefer the final fantasy soundtracks, the baroque style of the Dragon Quest soundtracks sound somehow more authentic. Plus Nobuo Uematsu himself sites Koichi Sugiyama as one of his inspirations when it comes to video game music.
Please cover Tantegal Castle soon! I beg you.
You guys are making the work of Gods
Thank you for covering this song very much. You sent me back in time.
Shoutout to the flute player Gregory Orosz! He does a fantastic job and the flute really adds an emotional touch to this incredible piece. Also, the rest of the instruments are amazing as well. And mixing all the audio together--what phenomenal work!
A huge smile, all along, tears and chill on shadow's part.Really, you did a gr8 job everyone. The harp was just perfect.Thank you Andrew,i love what you do. P.s :I've been waiting this one for awhile.I imagined the ending credit part to be included as well but its not really part of the medley,is it? I guess it would have been too long anyway.I'd like you're tought on that
The harpist nailed it. She's very good
The ultimate masterpiece!! Thank you for doing this.
Shadow's theme is my favorite part of this. Don't know why. Locke/Celes is #2.
Kefka dislike this
Fantastic! I love this piece so much 🥰
Big thanks to all of you for bringing this melody to life 🤗
Boom, 1s into the video aaaaaaaand that's a thumb up
The shadow part made me cry, you got me.
Subscribed! I've been through your entire FF playlist and each performance enhances the original hardware limitations with hi-def sound, but also stays true to the original feel of each theme. Please keep them coming. I'm sure someone has already requested this, but I'd like to throw in my vote for you to take the ending theme all the way to the "The End" screen (airship theme + prologue). Your faithful cover brought back all of the wonderful memories I have of each character as I played this on my SNES in 1996. The full ending sequence brings such an emotional conclusion to the adventure, as well as sadness in having to say goodbye at the end of the epic journey.
Edit: It has been two years since I discovered this work. I am back to say thank you for completing the ending theme. I am sure it had nothing to do with my ask, as you probably had the mind to do it anyway. Still, I appreciate your impressive work and dedication. ua-cam.com/video/4_HYGRnFy-w/v-deo.html
Im in tears! Thank you for this wonderful moment. These creators left us such a beatiful and vast world of true artistic playground, and you did it honor! Thanks again!
This was stunningly beautiful. How is this channel not more popular?!
This was beautiful, you guys are very talented, thanks a lot!
I'm crying so beautiful this is... Only... Wow!!!
This is one of my absolute favorite pieces from a FF game - this ending medley always takes me back to a better time with some old friends I've not heard from in years. Thank you so much for this beautiful rendition! You're all so skilled!
You know... we, the viewer, are thanking these fabulous musicians for playing this magnificent piece, but I bet these musicians are thanking Nobuo for the chance to play a masterpiece of his and experience the mind of genius composer. Art is truly a magical experience!
The first notes of Cyan's Theme on that flute gave me chills and they just didn't stop. Again, this is the perfect recreation with all the nuances of Uematsu's original work ♥
6:15 I'm not crying you're crying
This is one i've been waiting for!
Always loved the transitions - especially into Shadow's portion.
This is amazing. We all have to spread the word about this channel. It deserves way more subs and love.
ahhh, the feels
First video to skip past "Likes" and go to "Favorites" on UA-cam in over 6 months for me. This medley just has a way of making you feel things you haven't felt in forever, doesn't it? Exceptional from everyone involved.
😍😍😍😍
I've been waiting for this one. One of my all-time favorites.
Thank you!!!!
I'm really happy to support you guys through a patreon. You do such amazing work. This again is so great it's hard to put into words
Thank You so much for this!
Yessss! Thank you for sharing!
I love the ending music and listened to it so many times!
9:20 kills me. I still remember beating it the first time at age 14 without saving Shadow, and thought that's just how it was.
YOU DID IT!!! Kudos to everyone to contributed with making that awesome ending piece, Balance is Restored next by any chance? XD
I get goosebumps every time I hear Celes, Terra and Shadow's ending themes! :)
Once he gets to covering all of FFVI themes, someone needs to make a romhack that swaps the original midi soundtrack with Andrew's amazing renditions.
If only we can also hack our memory and delete our experience of playing FFVI... I've tried to replay this game several times. But I will never be able to recreate the feeling when I was playing FFVI for the first time.
The transition from Relm to Shadow has me in tears every time I listen to this song in general but this is incredible. I've been almost sobbing the entire song.
The MOG theme. Dear god.
So I have to ask because I don't see a credit that points to this person......who is playing the sweet soprano sax????? That is some seriously nice playing. EDIT: Oh, he's credited at the end of the video. Amazing playing!
100% there will be about a million comments that ask you to play dancing mad
I hope you will do FF4's ending suite as well some day. If it's done as well as this one, it will be epic. Edit: And can you add an Applaud button? I don't want to sign up for Patreon but I'm moved to donate for this video especially. (Also your maximum $10 per month is too small IMO. How do we pay you more? I don't even need the extras, just want to support this great work.)
O trabalho que esse canal faz sempre é incrível!!!!
estoy de acuerdo
sim
I was trying not to cry while listening to that!
Very nice playing! I like how you inserted some of the game ending scenes.
Unbelievable. My favorite piece ever.
