Do we forget about how Mighty & Ray are one of the fastest characters in the franchise being able to run at mach 4 in Sonic Mania?
SegaSTH might even take place before sonic 1 or before sonic CD..... i mean, none other time period would do, since sonic 3 and knuckles are straight continuations of sonic 2.

from what i can tell on Alpharad's video, both are really powerful, with Mighty's ground pound, and correct me if i'm wrong but he's immune to the spikes on many enemys/bosses, and ray gets to glide over everything and then go back into a ball when done gliding to hit bosses and such

That's no coinidence. See, in the tech demo soinc crackers, sonic and tails were the main chatacters But(and the reason the two appear in the end scene at all is because) they were scrapped in favor of mighty and the Fan Dubbed glitchy Wechidna because Mighty was the closest looking to sonic (even though ray could have worked if they did the work)

SegaSonic the Hedgehog is really fun, but it's the first emulated game I've seen that's impossible to play the way it was intended due to a trackball controller not existing beyond Arcade cabinets.
Also, Ray is way better with blue shoes.

Sadly they didn't return in Sonic Origins Plus and Sonic Superstars (and the Chaotix too, I would have liked to see Ray in Knuckles Chaotix) :(

Sega Sonic the hedgehog was an arcade game wich was controller by ball called track ball its hard to emulate or even play on original machine. He didnt it better than US could.
