One of my favorite WRs growing up. He's also a fantastic football mind too. I believe he was thee very first one to get on the Cooper Kupp bandwagon when he first came out. If I'm an NFL team, I'd hire Steve Smith Sr as a scout/talent evaluator.
No one has a better mindset than Steve Smith. He fought for every accomplishment he earned in his HOF career. Steve is right in calling out all these over-hyped, soft, under-performing tattooed millionaires because they don't want the success he had, they just want the paycheck. Being a first round pick means you'll probably have multiple chances for a good pay day, Smith never had that. He had to earn everything, and a lot of players these days don't have the same grind that made him the best. And even now you can see that it pisses him off to see all the wasted potential. As a Panthers fan, he is undoubtedly the best player we've had in our franchise. Luke Kuechly is a close second

@@jrob4795 Jake Delhomme took us to a Superbowl and we would have won if the Patriots weren't the biggest cheaters in football. Cam Newton was a great player, but not the best in Panther history. He laid an egg in that Superbowl.

Steve Smith Sr. is the best Panther period. 5x Pro Bowl, 2 All Pro, 16 years in the NFL, 8 1000 yard seasons, and the biggest amount of fight in a WR. Cam was a super freak, Steve was a pitbull and he had to fight to be one of the big dogs. He did more with a lot less than Cam did
