Just stumbled onto your channel. Amazing stuff. I ventured into the online dog food world about 20 yrs ago. Ended up just giving up. Trying to discern who knows what, who is truthful. what are the facts, etc... just became a nightmare. So thank you. If you're open to requests, wouldn't mind seeing you review some of the farm store stuff. Example -- Sportmix, Wholesomes, 4health etc. Thanks again
For corn grits, based on a professional Chef's definition, it's human grade corn meal (usually coarse) with added water/stock and a fat. The term "Grits" refers to a southern American dish usually served with BBQ. It's similar to the Italian polenta, but has a texture closer to a gritty mash potato. I'm guessing 1) it sounds better, 2) it's another way to add a fat source as energy and a water weight to get it higher on the ingredient list.
I purchased and read Glenn's books last summer, and all I can say is that both books were wonderful to read. They are very well written and Glenn really captures the reader's interest through his heartfelt words. I could not put them down! I encourage all of you out there to get those books and enjoy a good reading! Glenn, you are a great writer and I can't wait to get your new book as soon as it comes out! 😻🐶🐾
Have you ever reviewed their therapeutic diets? We don’t have them here in Canada but I’ve always wondered how they stacked up against Purina, RC and Hills?
In fairness a few brands are owned by huge conglomerates selling bad human food. IE Mars and Iams, Nature's Recipe and Smuckers and I believe Nestle owns Purina but you'll have to check that one

Blue Buffalo is owned by General Mills. They should just put the Pillsbury Doughboy on all their pet food. Happy Mewsday!

Can BB actually advertise their products for what they are without bashing other products? This right away tells me that they are inferior.
Corn meal is just a filler …
If corn meal had no nutritional benefit it would indeed be a filler.
