  • Turkey's largest electric boat "DOKA", whose construction was completed at Teos Marina, which everyone is waiting for with great excitement, has once again reached the sea at Teos Marina.
25.80 meters long, 5.88 meters wide Turkish flagged DOKA, which has been under construction on the slipway area of Teos Marina for more than three years, has a diesel-electric propulsion system and battery banks, which can be charged with solar energy and shore electricity, and no diesel if desired. It can cruise entirely on electricity, without the use of an engine, silently, without vibration and with zero emission.
The 85-ton DOKA, of which we follow all the construction stages with great curiosity and excitement, was successfully launched on Monday, May 8, by the professional team of Teos Marina. Faruk GÜNLÜ, General Manager of Teos Marina, who follows the whole process and operation closely, said, “We are very happy that the DOKA project, which overlaps with the environmentally friendly and sustainable service approach of our marina, has been completed and brought to the sea by the Teos Marina team. DOKA is an economical and environmentally friendly boat with an average fuel consumption of 25 liters per hour at 10 knots. Best of all, the battery banks can meet all the electricity needs without using a generator during the stays in the bays. Well done to everyone involved in the process.” said.
In order to increase its maneuverability, this marvelous boat can be moved 360 degrees with one hand in the desired direction with the joystick, and it can be fixed even in the open sea without anchoring with the satellite connection using the DP (Dynamic positioning) system.
