I am calling you out on this one kidder. No way in that car did you drive through that tunnel. You would need a 4x4 with off road tyres to cope with the mud for a start. It has 4 foot of water in it an more in wet weather. Plus all the rubble near the entrance that would need a JCB to clear it. Also the video is very disjointed an why play it at the wrong speed? I will be in Liverpool soon as I have property there, so meet up an prove me wrong an I will post an apology on here if I am.
@@stevelomas4119 it was 2011 - Jaguar Land Rover spent an absolute fortune at the time to get it clear enough for the cars. The even built a temporary road to the entrance from Edge Hill Station. The worlds motoring press done the drive.
It's a shame the tunnel can't been cleaned out of rubble and tipped junk to give some form of official public access even if it's only escorted groups. I assume you had official permission to have the gates unlocked? I'm puzzled as a recent unofficial UA-cam explorer on foot had to wade waist deep through water and climb high over rubble in the open 'crow's feet' area. Some form of preparation must have taken place in order to be able to drive through but this wasn't explained. Also why drive on dipped headlights? It's not as if you're going to meet anyone driving the other way!
