Brian Skrudland gave me his stick after a playoff game when he was with the panthers. I was wearing his jersey with the “ C “ on it and he handed it to me after a game. It made that year for me as a kid. Solid dude and I’m glad to see he’s doing well. Brian if you ever read this, thank you brother you made a kid happy.
Having had season tickets in the 80s ..I listen to it all knuckles show ..Brian was the king !
I met Brian at a WHL game when he was scouting an Everett player for Florida. that man is the definition of a hockey player. he was the nicest, more knowledgeable, most personable hockey players I've ever met. the man is so humble. i will ALWAYS remember him
Skrudland.. what great storyteller! I could listen to these guys all day.. hey wait, I AM!! Good stuff fellas.
The Terry Ryan episode is great too
Love this interview...Skrudland was part of a Habs era I love the most...82-95...great memories
Fun chat guys! Anyone who has a pal like skrudland truly is lucky. It's great to have a person who can make you laugh, have your back when helps needed and keep you accountable in serious situations . Thanks Chris, Tim and Brian! 😊
The best Raw Knucles Podcast ever. I never laughed so hard :-) I hope that Brian will be invited again soon!!
Will always remember 9 seconds in ot McPhee to Skruds, et Le but! Go Habs!
Habs of mid-80s were my favourite.
Brian was a Huge part of the 96 Panthers SC run !
Energy, to the max ! As a 60 year old ex montrealer fing awsome
what a great talk!! i know Skrudland ,by watching him played ,but don't anything about him off the ice ,great fun !
Skrudland was reliable. An excellent player in every way. And obviously a hell of a personality. Thanks Chris for having Brian as a guest.
I met and chatted with both Nilan and Skrudland at a Canadiens Alumni event this past weekend. Both great guys that were genuinely interested to connect with the fans. Richard Sevigny, Normand Dupont, Alain Cote, Gilbert Dionne, Murray Baron, Mathieu Dandenault, Oleg Petrov, Dale Wiese..... great day for me.
i did not know that Brian Skrudland was such a funny man. we only saw the hocket games. another nice interview discovering the man in the player :) thanks guys for sharing this interview
Hard work, determination, a will to win, and non-stop hustle was Skrewie - that OT goal in 86 is an all time memory. #39 forever
So much fun. Thanks for the nostalgia boys
I really love your show. I am originally from the west island and have been a habs fan for about 54 years. I now live in Arizona and still follow the habs and go to the game when there in town.
I really enjoy your show and never miss it but I have to tell you this one was hilarious.
Brian is a good story teller , you need to have him back soon .

Chris, my hart is with you about your Mom, I helped Dad till the end, I understand you very well, it’s very difficult😢
Brian Skrudland is a legend and hockey legend! He is an all time favourite to all that know him! Last star that brought home the cup for the Montreal Canadiens....can't top that!
Underrated player he was good tough player
Brian is such a great guy, you can see it so clearly, bravo again for a great meet, bravo encore!

Good Stoon boy. Best episode. Great stories.
Dude !!! “Chuckles with Knuckles “ best PODCAST EVER !!!! Screwy !!!everyone is better then the last one !!!!
This was a great interview! Skrudland is the best!
What a beautiful electrifying goal it was.
Scored 9 seconds into overtime by Brian Skrudland Montreal Canadiens
Against the Calgary Flames in 1986 and going on
To win the Stanley Cup in Calgary at the saddledome.
On May 18, 1986 winning goal against goalie
Mike Vernon! It kinda reminds me of Bobby Nystrom's
Dramatic overtime goal that won the Stanley Cup for the
New York Islanders at the 7:11 mark of overtime to win
The 1980 Stanley Cup the first of four straight 💥 championships.
For the New York Islanders.
What a awesome interview I laughed a lot..........Brian was hilliarias telling those stories.
Glad you enjoyed it
as a canadian fan this show is pur gold
Brian is an amazing storie teller,
keep up the good work knuckles!!!
OMG, that was the best yet, no wonder he was your favorite, Chris. This guy will keep you in stitches all day. Can you bring him back next week?
This was just a riot! So many laughs! Great stories!
Still remember that OT goal in Calgary like it was yesterday
Just awesome!Along with many of those late 80’s,early 90’s Habs,Skrudland is in my earliest memories of watching hockey. Thanks again Chris & Tim!
Yep Robert Picard, was my neighbor in Brossard along with Knuckles. Lots of good moments as a young Habs fan
IMHO the best interview ever.
One of the best episodes of all time!
Best Knuckles Interview ever.
1986. What a great yr. The stars alligned. The Parade was so off the hook .
Best interview ever!
Great channel, great show as always. Love ya Knuckles and Skrewey and Tim. Great people!
Knuckles I've been been watching your podcast! Keep it up
Loved Skrewy! As a player and a person.
Loved the 1986 team who won the cup! I met him at Sir Winston Churchill pub great guy!
Lost in the second year and someone burnt Carbos house down...
I remember seeing it made the front page of the journal de montreal
Very fond memories of throwing back a few at Toe Blake's Tavern with some buddies. Then a few more....until closing. Then came "Brasseries" so women could enjoy the sport and ambiance. And here we are......
Great episode. Screwy is the best
What a beauty!!
Loved this interview ..was on the other side Vs Skruds s when in 80s Sherbrooke Vs Balty ..cd play in any era ..he mentioned today player’s stories …how we all played the same video games ..omg ..
Best interview on raw knuckles. Lets fire up part 2
Awesome memories with skrewy!!!!!!!! with the HABS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The worst part of this interview is at 1:28:15 when it ended . A real gem 💎 from two of my Habs key players .
That was a great interview!
Best épisode so far … can’t wait for part 2 !! Love you Knuckles
OMG. This was a riot. So much joy. Thanks so much Chris & Tim for inviting #39! 💩⛸ Enjoy. Every. Day.
Awesome. Just like the Bourque interview, I got a kick on the stories and how Knucks giggles like a school kid ...probably holding back on more details to the story that could get guys in hot water after the fact. Tim is a great partner helping with questions that we probably would want to ask. Great type of substance...
Great talk today boys! Listened to the whole thing while making dinner! Loved the story about Eddie's steak! Cant wait for the next one!
Oh man this was another great episode! Sooo much fun, amazing stories! Man alive, this channel keeps getting better all the time! Thank you again! I love it!
Lots of shinny games against Brian in the old out door rink behind my house in Saskatoon growing up. There was always blood on the ice, lol.
Another great one Chris. Can't paid for a part 2.
How about getting Shayne Corson on the podcast Chris ?
this one was golden. thanks for the laughs
best #NHL podcast out there!
I was a huge baltimore skipjacks fan the year we lost to Sherbrooke. Always rooted for BS since then. Funny in that era how many local sportscasters utterly butchered a lot of the canadian names (Patrick Roy was not WRAH for example. As baltimore's legendary "cement head" Bennett Wolf's biggest fan, i recall that Marty Mcsorley actually paired with Wolf and fought Stephen Fletcher around 8 times in that series along with taking on Wolf twice. Something like 11 fights in the series against a notable all time tough guy D pair. That's some heavy lifting. Screwy was a long time favorite from that MVP run. Glad to see him captain the upstart panthers. His work ethic defined that team
This is my cousin! Hence why my username is skruds short for Skrudland which is also my last name. Always looked up to him when I was playing hockey
should have Brian talk about the Mister Frog story
THE BEST
Great interview
Love it again
Love!
I really wish Skrudland was part of the 93 run.
Another great interview!
Great job! Enjoyed this podcast! Nice to get to know the players I grew up watching.
Best one ever❤😅😂
Horsehead? Love that, then Skrudland becomes teammates with him. Gotta love the hockey brotherhood.
My good friend K.Oliwa played on that Flames team. And he like Screwy said the same thing they should have won that game feel terrible for those Flames players. Got robbed. D. Sutter is a beaut you gotta hear his stories makes me laugh my ass off. Again Great Show boys.
Great fucking episode!. Tim, you are getting better.
Chris, tell us about the time you scored 2 goals with Lafleur's stick.
Love you guys
Gotta love this LOL
Classic!!
The 86 parade cars were Chrysler LeBaron convertibles and there were so many people on the cars that they were like an inch off the ground.
Great video guys
Really enjoyed this! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
J’aurais aime mieux le connaitre dans le temps. Great guy!
What was the warning in September about Richer? Dying to know. Lol
Hiis first year of pro was with the Nova Scotia Voyageurs not Sherbrooke.
Hey you keep going! I gotta piss! LOL.
When is this podcast live?
just to let you know guys i really do your pod cast.
Hard nosed hockey player for sure!!!
I have a little different opinion of Mike Milbury if the story that knuckles is telling is true and I guess you have to assume it is, I can’t believe you make that story up
I loved the 1986 Habs but are they ever lucky Edmonton somehow lost that year
Home stayed in my gf home in Saskatoon, along time ago
Gainey took a car for a joyride?l lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just hate what he did to the Islanders. That’s all Mike Milbury.
I love my pet more than you love Adele.
